EXPOSE THE TRUTH 4: "Let My People Go!"

 

This document gives the report about the events that took place after the August 29^th meeting.

 

Community meeting on August 29. The August 29^th meeting with the Moscow Board finished at 3pm Moscow time. At 6pm the SU team had a meeting with the Moscow Group, where they announced that the Board had been dismissed and asked for volunteers to stand for a new Board. Note that the decision to dismiss 5 of the 6 Board members was made from 3pm to 6pm Moscow time which is 5am to 8am Montana time. That means that it was the decision of the members of the SU team, and CUT/TSL Board of Directors knew about this decision and approved/endorsed it only after it was already implemented. Or if the leadership would claim that this decision was approved by the CUT/TSL Board of Directors, then the CUT/TSL Board of Directors had approved it before the SU team came to Russia.

 

Ritual of forgiveness, Novena to El Morya. The first thing we initiated in our Group after the August 29 and 30 events, was a 14-day Ritual of Forgiveness, that we started on the September 6 during the Saint Germain Service. About 70 people participated in this ritual in our Moscow Group, sending the Violet Flame to our fellow Keepers in Moscow and to the SU team, as well as doing judgment and dweller calls and Astreas, that are a part of this Ritual. The Group also did the Novena to El Morya, asking our Guru to help find a place for our Saint Germain services instead of the one we lost at the end of August.

 

The new beginnings. The difficulties glued the whole Group together. In fact we never felt such a sense of unity, brotherhood, understanding, peace and harmony in the Moscow group, as we have now after the August 29 events. As it is said, no great loss without some small gain. In one day all the complainers were miraculously gone from our Group, all the worrying in the members was stopped. The members of the Group, including those, who were passive in the past, felt that they are important and counted in the Group and stepped forward offering their service. God gave us a new and good place for the decree services along with a very nice permanent room, that we call Lanello's Room, where the members of the Group are receiving the beginners, explaining the ABC's of the Teachings, watching video dictations and lectures. A whole bunch of new decree leaders stepped forward to lead the decree services. Each Saint Germain service became a red-letter day.

There are about ninety people in our Group, who regularly attend our services. Unfortunately there are quite a few people from our former Group who stopped attending any services at all. They do not go to the other Group in Moscow as they do not like what is going on there. They do not come to our Group as they believed the ministers who said that our Group is not any more under the sponsorship of the Great White Brotherhood. We know also that there are quite a few people who joined the Group under the new appointed Board for the same reason: they believe that God and the Masters are sponsoring only that group, which is supported by the ministers and the Church. The same process is going on in the many Groups in Russian speaking lands, where the groups have been divided into two and started conducting the separate decree services.

 

The SU team explains the dismissal of the Moscow Board members. There were a few main points that were brought to the attention of Keepers during the meetings in Moscow and the SU Classes in Tuapse and Kiev in order to explain the dismissal of the Moscow Board members (a few people gave a written witness of what took place on different meetings/SU Classes and we are giving the translation of the main points from their stories):

1)           &nb sp;   Anger of Ketino during the meeting

Neroli: The aggressiveness of Ketino during the meeting is a sign of the problems with the throat chakra. This is not acceptable for a leader of the group. (witness of Marina V., Tuapse Class)

Linda: Ketino was very aggressive and angry, that is not acceptable for a Keeper and especially for the President of the Group and an Elder. (witness of Antonina N., Kiev Class)

 

2)           &nb sp;    Financial and other infractions, that were reported to RHQ

Neroli and Linda: Many complaints were coming to Montana from the members of the Moscow Group. Some financial infractions of the leaders of the Moscow Group were reported in written form to the Church leadership. The money that was given as a donation was not brought by Ketino to Montana till this time. (witness of Marina V., Tuapse Class)

Linda and Neroli: Montana never got the money that you [the Keepers in Russia] are donating to the Church (witness of Ekaterina G., Tuapse Class)

Ministers: Ketino was dismissed for her behavior and for financial infractions (witness of Ludmila, Kiev Class)

Linda: Montana received the information in written form about the infractions of the Board of the Moscow Group. It includes the absence of licenses on some books and other materials of SU Press. (witness of Antonina N., Kiev Class)

 

3)           &nb sp;   Unwillingness to invite the ministers of the Church, unwillingness to speak with them

Q: Is it possible for all the members of the group and old Board and the new Board and the representatives from Montana to come together to a meeting and discuss the situation in the group?

Linda: Ketino didn't answer the many attempts to contact her, does not open the door, do not answer the phone. (witness of Galina N., Moscow meeting)

Neroli, Linda: The Moscow Board was refusing to meet with Church representatives, did not invite the ministers to conduct Classes, felt impossible the official registration of the Church in Russia, when the attorney affirms the opposite. (witness of Marina V., Tuapse Class)

Neroli: The Board of the Moscow Group refused to meet with SU team and the meeting was held despite their will. (witness of Ekaterina G., Tuapse Class)

Linda: The representatives from Montana were planning to come to Russia, as they were invited by Rostov and Dnepropetrovsk Study Groups and asked Ketino if they can start their trip with a visit to Moscow. Ketino was delaying their coming, as she felt some fear. Thus they came without her invitation. They called her from a hotel in Moscow, but Ketino said she does not want to meet with them. The ministers were insisting on the meeting, but Ketino agreed to meet only under her conditions. (Witness of Antonina N., Kiev Class)

 

4)           &nb sp;   It is not recommended to use the decree tapes with Andrew Blumenschein

5)           &nb sp;   It is not recommended to use the decree tapes with the voice of Ketino (including the audio and video lectures with Russian voice over and decrees in Russian)

Linda: Do not use the decree tapes with Andrew. Do not use also the decree tapes with Ketino and the tapes with Mother's lectures [where Ketino is doing voice over]. (witness of Ekaterina G., Tuapse Class)

Ministers demanded to withdraw from circulation all the decree tapes with Andrew and Ketino. (Witness of Lidia L., Kiev Class)

Linda: Do not use the tapes with the voice of Andrew Blumenchein and the voice of Ketino because they are not any more the chalices of Light. (Witness of Ludmila U., Moscow meeting)

Witness of Galina N., Moscow meeting:

Linda: All the tapes with the voice of Andrew and the tapes with the voice of Ketino have to be withdrawn from the use, as Ketino's voice has old vibrations. The tapes with the new vibrations are needed.

Faina (Moscow group member): Is it possible for some time to use the tapes with the voice of Ketino, as we do not have any other tapes?

Linda: You can use these tapes temporally/for some time.

 

6)           &nb sp;   The Moscow Group under the leadership of Ketino would not be permitted to patch for the conference

Linda: The group under the leadership of Ketino will not be allowed to patch for the Harvest conference.

7)           &nb sp;   The Moscow group (with former Board) has lost the sponsorship of the Great White Brotherhood (GWB). Only the Group with the new appointed Board is sponsored by the GWB. The mantle was taken from Ketino.

Linda: There is a Hierarchy of Light. CUT is a part of this Hierarchy and is sponsored by the GWB. The former Board through their disobedience went out of the Church. Thus they (and the group of people with them) are no more under the Hierarchy. Only the newly appointed Board and the people in this group are under the sponsorship of the Brotherhood. (Witness of Ludmila U., Moscow meeting)

Linda: Mother gave Ketino the mantle for some term. And during this time she had to pass certain tests on the 12 lines of the Cosmic Clock. But she did not pass them. The time of testing for Ketino is over and the time when the mantle worked is over. Now the mantle is taken from her and we all feel it. She did not bend the knee and we are sorry for that. (Witness of Galina N., Moscow meeting)

 

Moscow Board never refused to meet with Church representatives. There were two meetings with the Moscow Board planned originally, but after the dismissal of the 5 Board members was announced in the August 29 community meeting the SU team canceled the August 30 meeting with the Board. As all our communications with the Church leaders were through e-mail, we can affirm that neither before August 29, nor after it the Moscow Board never refused to have a meeting with the Church representatives. Here is what our Board wrote to Peter, when we were planning the August 29 and August 30 meetings:

July 20, 2003: "We are happy to meet with you here in Moscow on your way to Tuapse."

July 21, 2003: "First of all we want to reaffirm that our Board is happy to meet with you here in Moscow on your way to Tuapse."

After canceling the August 30 meeting, we did not get any single proposal from the SU team to have another meeting with them, though three members of the SU team stayed in Moscow and never attended the SU Classes in Tuapse or Kiev. A meeting with us at any day could have been arranged easily (they just had to send us an e-mail or fax in order to set up the meeting with the former Board).

 

Moscow Board asks for the meeting with Church Board. On September 15 we sent a letter to the Board of Directors, asking "for an immediate meeting between the Church Board and the former Moscow Board" in order "to clear up all issues that are a problem." Here is this letter in its entirety.

 

"Dear Board of the Church Universal and Triumphant and Summit Lighthouse,

As you know, serious events are occurring here in the Russian-speaking lands. Many Keepers of the Flame here are asking the question, what has the Moscow Board done to cause the American leadership to so discredit all of their work? Who can we trust? Where has the goodwill gone? Why has the American leadership suddenly turned against those who were entrusted to run the organization in the Russian-speaking lands? Who shall we turn to when we have a problem in our groups? Why did the American leadership resort to such drastic measures without trying to solve the problems more constructively and harmoniously?  We cannot believe that you know the full story and we trust in your Holy Christ Selves to listen before further action takes place here. In the name of Jesus and Kuan Yin, we look to you for leadership and for a listening heart.

We, the former Board of the Moscow Study Group, your brothers and sisters on the path, do hereby request your immediate help and assistance to halt or delay the full implementation of the decisions made by the Church's representatives here in Russia. These decisions are affecting not just the Moscow Study Group but dozens of Groups and thousands of Keepers throughout the Russian-speaking lands.

We ask for an immediate meeting between the Church Board and ourselves to review the emotional meeting that we had with the Church's representatives, as well as the events prior to and following that meeting. As fellow servants of Saint Germain and El Morya, faithfully serving in the field, we have no other recourse but to have the Church Board hear our call.

Since this situation is difficult, due to the fact that two Board members were part of the Church team that came to Russia, we ask that a neutral facilitator(s) be at the meeting so that we can review the facts, let everybody be heard and not get sidetracked in personal issues. Also since two of the board members were part of the Church team in Russia, we request that we can choose two elders who are not on the Board and were not part of the team to also be there to witness the meeting. We feel it is important to try once again to establish greater understanding about this situation, in deference to what the Masters have taught us about overcoming ignorance. We believe it is your duty as the highest governing body to hear us before further problems take place.

We do not deny that there were inharmonious energies in our meeting with the Church representatives; it was very difficult to be calm when we felt that so much was at stake and that we were not being understood or respected. Everyone was inharmonious at some point during the meeting. The meeting was merely the culmination of a situation that has been developing for many years. We have tried many times to bring understanding of our situation here in Russia to the staff members at headquarters. We apologize for not coming to you much sooner with our concerns and request for help.   

There must have been a major misunderstanding between us for this to happen. So, we want to clear any and all issues that are a problem. We want to answer any questions that you have. We are not personally attached to our positions on the Board (in the past 2 years all of us have had a spell not on the Board), but we are passionate about maintaining a constructive progression of the Brotherhood's work here. We have always sought to keep the needs of the Russian-speaking Keepers of the Flame at the forefront of our endeavors.

Although the Headquarters team has said that we were "not good leaders" we have tried hard here in Russia to publish, practice and spread the Ascended Masters Teachings at the highest possible standards. In these years, by the Grace of God, we have done these things for the Lightbearers and the Masters:

In 6 years, the Moscow Keepers have translated 35 SU titles and sold about 700,000 copies. Many souls who have read the books have been directed into becoming Keepers of the Flame and/or joining a Study Group. Many souls have come to our teaching classes and listened to our tapes of lectures and dictations. Many things that the Church leadership expressed great admiration for in Tuapse, actually had its beginnings in the Moscow Study Group.

The Moscow Keepers have sent between three to four thousand dollars every year, back to Ranch as royalties. While there have always been difficulties harmonizing the needs of American and Russian law, particularly as regards publishing, we have always striven to act first and foremost on the basis of the cosmic honor flame. Trust and goodwill have been the foundation of our co-operative endeavors together. But the current requests for a complete investigation into our publishing activities, based on American standards of law with little regard to Russian legal requirements, is the biggest challenge to these foundations that we have faced. In the past silence or contradiction have met our letters to the Board and the Church leadership regarding Russian law. We plead with you not to take this situation lightly, or to again respond to us with silence.

We do not understand how it serves the Brotherhood's interest to wipe out almost 8 years of heartfelt and at times dangerous work by the former Moscow Board by denying licenses for our publishing house, banning our translated video and audio lectures, Russian decree tapes and music. Keepers here have been informed that they may not use any of the materials developed in Moscow that have Ketino's voice on them. Years of work are being wiped out almost instantly and what will replace it? How will the Keepers respond to this sudden change of attitude by the Church leadership? 

We have to ask the question again. What have we done so wrong that would cause our removal, and even more importantly, cause the splintering of a mighty united force that is holding a great balance in Russia? This situation has already provoked division amongst friends, amongst families and amongst Study Groups throughout the Russian-speaking lands. People are beginning to lose faith in the organization as they struggle to understand why this happening. And the division is snowballing very quickly.

But there are ways to resolve this situation by addressing some key issues. We think it is not true, that we were given fair warning of complaints about the Board and that our Board did nothing to correct any alleged problems. We also ask, how did some Russian Keepers know (and even announce) that we were being removed before the Church representatives arrived? Was the removal of our Board done according to the high standards set for our organization?

Finally, in the Russian-speaking countries, people are very strong and passionate about what is important to them. To us, there is nothing more important than the cause of spreading the Teachings of the Ascended Masters. We believe that you feel the same way and can see beyond our personalities to the spirit within us.  Please understand that we did not feel that a fair and respectful meeting could have taken place with the Headquarters team. Let us meet with you and the facilitator(s) so that we can explain why and answer the concerns you have.

The world is watching us. Heaven is watching us. Let us take steps towards peace and resolution rather than strife and division. There is still time and we have a world to save.

The Board of Directors responded on September 17:

"The board has had the opportunity to discuss your request for a meeting, which we appreciate. The board feels your request, however, is premature. Before we would consider meeting with you, we are respectfully, yet urgently, requesting that you meet with our representatives in Moscow to answer the serious questions that have been addressed to you. Meeting with Kate and Tina to discuss these questions is the most important next step toward resolution. They have delayed their departures from Moscow to allow this to happen."

 

September 18th meeting in Moscow. The former Board gladly responded right away. We rented a place and three people from our side Ketino, Stuart and Sergei K. (who was not the former Board member, but one of the core active people in the Moscow Group) met with Kate, Tina and Benuard on September 18.

Tina was leading the meeting. She said that there are two main purposes for the meeting:

1)           &nb sp;    to ask for the full financial report

2)           &nb sp;    to request that our Group gives everything (including AV equipment, publishing with it's books etc.) to the newly appointed Board.

Tina read a list of complaints that were coming to the Ranch from the Moscow group members about Ketino and the Board (mainly about Ketino) since 2001. She refused to give the names of the people, who voiced these complaints. The complaints were so ridiculous that they caused a smile on Ketino's face. Tina asked why she is laughing? Ketino wanted to answer the complaints right away and said that they are very easy to answer. Tina stopped her and said that it is not the purpose of the meeting to hear Ketino's response on these complaints and that they will send the list of them in written form from the Ranch as soon as they will be finalized.

Kate said that the purposes of the August 29 meeting was to discuss these concerns and to get the financial report. Stuart said that the agenda that we have received for that meeting did not say anything about these purposes and we were not informed about any concerns before the meeting. Stuart read the agenda from the Linda's e-mail to the Moscow Board (that you can read in the "EXPOSE THE TRUTH 1: History" document) to prove his words.

Ketino also asked that if the SU team had these concerns during the time of the August 29 meeting, how could it be that after staying in Moscow for an additional three weeks the list of concerns is still not finalized and ready, so that we can answer them.

Kate said that the Board members were dismissed not because of the concerns, but because of the behavior on the meeting and she believes that Ketino could easily answer the concerns.

Ketino asked why the leadership has accused her publicly in many things, including financial transgressions, without checking the facts. Kate and Tina said that it is not true and refused to acknowledge such facts. (That is why we later asked people to give the reports in written form about the statements made by the SU team on the meetings in Moscow and during the SU Classes in Tuapse and Kiev.)

We were asked to give away all the belongings of the Moscow Group and the publishing company. Stuart said that we would definitely look at giving the items, that were given to the Group as a gift or bought on donations from Group members, but what would be ultimately given is to be determined by three entities the two officially registered companies and the people in the Group. We explained that it is not up to the former Moscow Board members to give over any assets, because these assets in reality belong to the people of the Group and they need to decide what would happen with their belongings. The Moscow Group leaders work with the people in the Group and do not just make decisions without them.

Stuart also asked what would satisfy the Church leadership? Kate answered that they would be satisfied only if we give everything, including publishing company and its belongings.

Ketino asked Kate what she thinks would happen with some company, for example with TSL/CUT organization if in one day the whole leadership and all employees would be changed? Could they survive? Kate said that they already went from 600 people to 60 and many people left. Ketino said that it did not happen in one day and some employees are still there. She asked again what would happen if all the people would be fired in one day? Kate responded that it is not a problem and there will be just a transition period of learning for new people.

Ketino pointed out that the former Board members as well as the core active people working in the Group do their work not for positions, or mantles, or money, but as a service to God and to the Masters. She said that it is our sacred labor and our divine plan to bring the Teachings of the Ascended Masters to Russia and Russian speaking lands and that we are determined to fulfill this our divine plan. Kate and Tina responded that it just shows how rebellious we are, if we plan to continue to do what we were doing.

We did not come to an agreement on the issues we spoke about, but it did not seem to be the purpose of the meeting, according to what Tina stated in the beginning.

 

Another request of the Moscow Board to meet with the Church Board. On September 20^th the Moscow Board wrote another letter to the Board of Directors:

 

"Dear Board of Directors,

We would like to thank you for the opportunity that we had to meet with your representatives, Tina and Kate, in Moscow on September 18 to further clarify issues of concern. In our minds, it was a constructive meeting that helped us understand some of the issues that will need greater clarification so that a healthy resolution can be obtained.

It is our understanding from the meeting, that you will send us a list of allegations against the former board members, so that these can be responded to.  We are eager to further clarify these issues.

We believe that the allegations that Tina and Kate summarized to us can easily be answered, however they told us that these allegations are still being compiled and the list will be delivered at a later date.  We feel it is important that we have the complete list of allegations so that we may promptly and properly respond to each and every one.

Now that we have met with the Church's representatives again as requested, we would like to reiterate our request to meet with the entire Church Board. We hope to hear from the Board at the earliest possible opportunity as we feel that there are still many misunderstandings, and we wish to clear them up.

The current impact on the work for the Masters in Russia is severe and continuing, and we would very much like to speak with the Church Board about these impacts, in order to find ways to resolve the issues. We feel we are all responsible for relieving the burdens that these misunderstandings have placed upon the lightbearers of the Russian-speaking lands.

Note, that to this day we have still not received the list of allegations against the former Board members.

 

October 2 informal non-business Elder's meeting. In September there were a few requests from the Elders to have a hearing in the Elder's meeting about the events that took place in Russia. In response to these requests the Board of Directors called an informal non-business Elder's meeting on October 2 regarding Russia. It was a two-hour telephone meeting, where every Elder had an opportunity to ask one question timed to 1 minute with a suggestion of who might answer the question. The Elders, who were a part of the SU team Kate, Tina, Neroli and Linda on one side or Ketino, who represented the Moscow Board's side, had to answer the questions with a time limit of 3 minutes.

Here is a short comment from Ketino on that meeting: "The Board members tended not to address the questions to me, as if they did not want to hear the other side of the story. They directed their questions to the SU team, who repeated the statements, that were already publicly reported. Right on the meeting I said that there are many incorrect statements made by the leadership publicly, as well as during this meeting, but nobody asked me to correct these statements. The format of the meeting did not allow the Elders to hear the answers on each question from both sides and therefore to clear any misunderstandings".

 

Moscow Keepers are denied registration for the Harvest conference. The time of the Harvest conference was approaching. The Church leaders fulfilled their promise and did not allow the Keepers from our group to register for the conference. For example, Marina A., who had more than $200US on her account, sent to Customer Service a request to register her for the conference. On October 10, about ten days later, she finally received a response from Joanne Boeckman: "Leadership has instructed me to inform you that we will not be registering you for this Harvest conference broadcast Marina, we encourage you to participate in this conference broadcast at the event venue sponsored by the officially-recognized and licensed Moscow Study Group".

Ketino asked to register herself for the conference as an Elder, but was denied the registration, though other Elders got the registration for free for this and previous conferences.

We are wondering, if there is the rule that says that Keepers of the Flame or a group of people would not be allowed to participate in the conference if they do not attend the events of the official Study Group in their area or just want to participate in the conference at home?

The Russian Keepers, including those, who came to our Group from the other cities felt that they are not welcomed by the Ranch to their events. They were confused whether the quarterly conferences are solely Church events, where only the communicants are welcome, or if these events are for the KOF and lightbearers to participate in, even though they are not affiliated with or a member of the Church.

We ask you, our brothers and sisters in America and the world: do you need another one hundred people faithfully decreeing with you during the conference?

 

The Moscow Group had two spiritual initiatives in October and November.

Code of Conduct. On October 4, on the Saint Germain service, which was also El Morya's day we asked El Morya to become the Guru-sponsor of our Moscow Study Group of the Keepers of the Flame. We followed the example of the New York Teaching Center and signed the individual pledges to uphold the Code of Conduct given by El Morya Khan. More than 50 people signed the individual pledges, as well as the Group Petition to El Morya. We invited also El Morya to become the irremovable member of our Board. We know that following our example some other groups and Keepers in Russia and Ukraine also pledged to follow the Code of Conduct.

The 24-hour tag for Mother is reestablished! The other initiative was concerning the tag for Mother. Russian Keepers were always making many calls for Mother, but we did not participate in the tag for Mother. We were actually surprised, when we went to the corresponding site on the internet and saw how poor was the situation. There were even many zeros in the table. That means that not even one person was decreeing for Mother during that hour. The Keepers in the Moscow Group and many other Groups from Russian speaking countries, to whom we wrote letters about the tag, gave their pledges to do decrees for Mother at a certain time of the week. As a result, there are no zeros any more in the tag table, that means that Mother finally has a 24-hour tag reestablished and more than 70% of this round the clock tag is sustained now by Russian-speaking Keepers. The big majority of the hours there are two, three and more people decreeing and recently we got the first hour, where 12 people are decreeing for Mother in different parts of the World.

 

The seeds of confusion. While reading about all these Victories, one can think that all is fine in the Russian speaking KOF community. The Moscow Group as the biggest and strongest is probably doing better than the other groups, that are much smaller and weaker. Thus the division and destruction is practically deadly for them. The Church leaders sowed seeds of confusion in people's minds, as the people cannot understand how it could be that

1        those, who were good for so many years became bad in one day,

2        the materials, that were recommended (decree tapes, lectures on video, audio) and were good for many years became bad in one day,

3        the events (conferences, Classes) that were good for many years are not recommended to be attended any more,

4        the Group that was the example that the people followed in order to form groups in their cities and countries became bad in one day,

5        the people who served them for many years and whom they loved are not good any more and they have to stop meeting and communicating with them, if they want to further be under the sponsorship of the Masters.

All of this is causing schisms in people's minds and the loss of faith in our organization and in the Teachings themselves: for many years the Moscow group was considered a very successful and healthy group, suddenly it became the most "unhealthy" group and regional center. What do you think that such a dramatic change does to people's perspective of the Teachings? Ultimately the Ascended Masters are losing their potential chelas, who were meant to find the Teachings, to hold the balance for the Eastern hemisphere and to follow the Path of the ascension. We do not think that God is happy with such a results of the trip of the SU team to Russia.

 

The last letter to the Church Board. The former Moscow Board sent its last letter to the Church Board on November18. Here is this letter, which request also remained unanswered.

"Dear Board of Directors,

We received the three requests that you set as a prerequisite to meeting and speaking with us. We believe that if you would hear our story you would change your mind about your requests, as you would understand "why" we resist so much in fulfilling these requests and "why" it would be actually pointless to speak with us after the three requests are fulfilled.

We ask you once again to speak with us and hear our story before you take the actions that lead to further destruction of the body of lightbearers in Russia.

"LET MY PEOPLE GO!" This is the request to the Church leadership.
