When Light Bearers gather to reason together, there is always the ever present question of whether the soul is operating out of the Carnal Mind, or the Christ Mind. Every student has the obligation and the duty to understand which is which, and to eschew the one, and embrace the other, and in that regard, to make every effort to do the necessary daily work at the altar to transmute that days portion of the synthetic identity, and to draw down that day's increment of illumination associated with the Christ Identity, before that individual opens his or her mouth.

     That's the thesis of this paper in a nutshell. But in order to reduce theory to practice, the why, the wherefore, and the how, deserves some considerable reflection. And in this respect, the unerring methodologies used to differentiate between the Christ and the Carnal, which are discussed at length below, will be of interest to many.

     First, let there be no confusion in anyone's mind about this essential fact: Every opportunity for dialog and discussion is an opportunity to manifest the clarity of your own Christ Mind, OR the murkiness of your own Carnal Mind. The implications of this fact are profound. What this means is that every opportunity for dialog and discussion must therefore represent a golden opportunity to divide the Real from the Unreal within ourselves. And when this division is accomplished through the facility of Christ Discrimination, that is the process by which we attain to our ultimate Ascension in the light.

     I would encourage everyone to make the most out of every such opportunity, including the opportunity that is presented in the context of this discussion concerning the building of Lake WOW at the Heart of the Inner Retreat.

     However, it is abundantly evident from the character of many of the responses I have received in regards to this proposal, that there are some individuals, while they obviously consider themselves to be students of the Teachings of the Ascended Masters, have yet to recognize the parameters of the all-important test they face each time they are challenged to express an opinion, on this proposal, or any other proposal, related to the future of our church.

     Therefore, before proceeding any further with the presentation of additional arguments in support of the building of Lake WOW at the Heart of the Inner Retreat, I believe that it would be useful to review those essential and fundamental principles which are associated with what ought to be an ongoing effort to maximize the purity of dialog between the Christ Mind of one light bearer, and the Christ Mind of another.

     In this great quest to divide the real from the unreal within ourselves, the first principle to be applied is the one of self-examination. Before you click the send button, read what you have written, and make a conscious determination as to the source of the sentiments, feelings, and ideas that have manifested within your conscious mind and desire body.

     In order to properly implement the principle of self- examination, there is one ultimate question that needs to be answered, and that is: How do we tell whether the sentiments we express originate within the matrix of our Christ Identity, or the matrix of our carnal (human) identity? If we look, yet do not see with the eyes of understanding, we will remain lost in that all too familiar twilight zone of confusion.

     To make this determination, in regards to what constitutes a genuine expression of the Christ Identity, and what constitutes the illegitimate expression of the Carnal Identity, one must have at least a rudimentary understanding of what the characteristics are, of the energy patterns, that are normally associated with the Carnal Identity on the one hand, and the Christ Identity on the other. Therefore, a brief sketch of this subject area is in order.

     Generally speaking, the carnal mind is rooted in the mass of untransmuted desire substance that we all carry around with us in our electronic belts. This is the amalgamation of all of the human desires that we have ever entertained in all past lives, in contrast to the vast momentum of God-Centered desire that is stored in our Causal Body (that we gain access to as we merge with our Christ Identity).

     Both of these concepts can be broken down into greater detail.

     A human desire is defined as any desire that does not take into account the infinite treasures of Love and Goodness that God holds out to the soul at all times and under all circumstances. In the absence of this divine knowledge, the fallen soul gives birth, within its desire body, to desires that fall within a very narrow range of perceived needs. These are the needs of the human self which perceives itself to be disconnected from God and all alone.

     This condition of disconnection and aloneness produces a general atmosphere of fear within the human identity. Therefore, within the context of this fear, all of the soul's desires will be rooted in the ever-present need to address that fear, i.e. to clean escape from it, or at least to relieve the inner turmoil and suffering associated with it. And this will express itself in a nearly continuous effort to dodge the never-ending scenario's of failure and disaster, which the power of fear continuously paints upon the screen of the imagination.

     In as much as these contextual parameters, i.e. the state of disconnection and aloneness, and the general atmosphere of fear these produce, are grand illusions, it is axiomatic that all desires generated to serve these illusions, when fulfilled, as all desires are, will result in the manifestation of additional circumstances that reinforce the soul's sense of disconnectedness and aloneness, in turn increasing the intensity of fear within the folds of consciousness. Therefore, as the soul's sense of aloneness and disconnection increase, further impure desires are generated, which, when fulfilled, as all desires are, will increase yet again the soul's sense of disconnection and aloneness, thereby increasing yet again the soul's sense of fear, and so it goes. In this manner, in service to the narrow range of fear-based needs associated with the synthetic identity, the soul has trapped itself within a self-enclosed energy system characterized by this ever-descending spiral of ever-increasing fear.

     But, it should be noted, that God in His Mercy, has built into the very structure of human life, some very important and helpful mitigation factors, the most important being the presence of family and friends which provide invaluable pillars of support which keeps the soul from collapsing under the enormous burden of fear associated with this condition of disconnection and separation from God. (And if you look closely, you will be able to identify many more mitigation factors that represent the expression of God's mercy unto the fallen soul. For example, the elevating effect of divinely inspired music is an important mitigation factor. The elevating effect of the many divinely inspired vistas of natural beauty that God has placed in this world, is an another. The elevating effect of genuine love between individuals is another. And the innocence that envelopes children from their birth unto adolescence is another.)

     Now, this idea, that the soul has become literally trappedwithin an ever-descending spiral of fear, is indicative of a very important principle. And this is the principle that rules the very structure of our identity. That principle is the principle of memory. It is the aggregate memory of all past experiences that forms the structure of our identity. As a matter of Cosmic Law, nature forces us to live within, at all times and under all circumstances, the aggregate memory of all past experiences. The immutability of this law corresponds to the desire of God to provide his children with a structure of identity that is very strong and immune from all natural forces of decomposition. Though, in the arena of human illusion, this fact does not produce happiness, but rather, a nearly continuous condition of inner suffering.

     And therefore, it has come to pass, that the soul, in the fallen state, routinely puts a great deal of effort into the goal of escaping from this forcefield of memory, but these efforts can only succeed in achieving a temporary release, for example with the use of various drugs, including alcohol, watching a lot of television, eating a lot of food, or indulging in other entertainment activities. But when the entertainment stops, and the soul is alone with itself, it finds that it is alone, again, with the aggregate forcefield of fear-based memories that go back hundreds of lifetimes.

     On the other hand, when we lived in our divine estate, and that was quite a long time ago, before the Great Fall associated with the Great Rebellion, all of our experiences were divine, and the record of those experiences were stored in the Causal Body. The overall forcefield of the Causal Body interpenetrated the awareness of the Divine Self, giving the Divine Self, its ongoing sense of Divine Identity. At that time, our sense of identity was composed of a multitude of perfectly clear memories of how God had theretofore fulfilled our every need, providing constant companionship, friendship, and guidance throughout every life experience. And of course, from that standpoint, we could not help but look into the future with the greatest sense of Divine Hope and Promise.

     After the fall, and during all subsequent times periods, and up to the present day, the same basic principle has been in continuous operation. In this regard, even in the fallen state, God must respect the use of our freewill, and the sense of identity we create through the use of that freewill. We create that sense of identity through our choices, and through our experiences. And the records of those experiences are recorded, and it is the impact of the aggregate magnetism of those recorded experiences upon the consciousness of the soul, that gives the soul, in this case, its sense of mortal identity.

     But, because these illusion-based patterns of life do not carry the soul closer to God, but rather, serve to increase the breadth and depth of the illusion of disconnection, separation, and aloneness, these life records cannot be stored in the Causal Body, which is the storehouse for divine treasures only. Therefore, for the fallen soul, an alternative (and hopefully temporary) storage location was set up to accommodate this need to store all life records associated with the desire to live within this grand illusion of disconnection, separation, and aloneness. The Ascended Masters use the term "electronic belt" to describe this alternative storage medium. This storage medium, located at the waist level, and below, which is cram packed with layer upon layer of records from all past lives wherein the soul dedicated itself to the further pursuit of illusion, represents the primary force within the being of fallen man which bends the attention of the soul away from God, away from Truth, and to the service of the fear-based needs of the lower self.

     So, one can clearly see, that if the soul is interested in reorienting its consciousness back towards its divine source, that something must be done to separate the awareness of the soul from the influences carried in the electronic belt. Because, if nothing is done to transmute this anti-God forcefield, it will constantly act upon the consciousness of the soul, keeping the consciousness turned away from the Reality of God's infinite love and goodness (and ever-present regard, care and concern for the well being of the soul).

     There is only one thing that can insulate the awareness of the soul from the influences of the electronic belt, and that is the direct divine intercession by bonafide representatives of the Great White Brotherhood, who we know as the Ascended Masters.

     (The term "white" does not refer to skin color, but to the White Light, which contains all the colors of the rainbow in perfect balance. The Great White Brotherhood includes Masters who have ascended from all cultures and races of the earth.)

     The intercession of the Ascended Masters is invoked, through the use of the Science of the Spoken Word, in the course of our daily service before the Altar of the Holy Grail. In response to our invocations and decrees, the Ascended Masters release the necessary increments of the Sacred Fire, which has the effect of incrementally transmuting the contents of the electronic belt, and sealing the remainder in a forcefield of light, providing a definitive containment action. This Altar Work is absolutely essential for minimizing the impact of the electronic belt energies upon the conscious mind.

     The Violet Flame decrees, our Archangel Michael decrees, the action of the 20.09 "I Cast Out the Dweller on the Threshold" decree, and the 6.04 "Around the Clock Protection" decree, are the basic tools given to us by the Great White Brotherhood to neutralize the impact of the electronic belt energies upon our outer consciousness. When these tools are used on a daily basis, in accordance with the directions on the box top, the mind of the soul is set free from the downward pull of electronic belt energies, i.e. set free from what had heretofore been a condition of abject enslavement to vain distraction, allowing the mind to become a chalice within which ever greater levels of divine understanding can germinate, take root, and blossom into shining lamps of divine guidance, revealing, ever more clearly, the path that will take the soul home to the Heart of God.

     At some point along the path, the soul's service at the Altar of the Holy Grail will achieve such a crescendo of descending Sacred Fire from on high, that the influence of the electronic belt energies upon the conscious mind will be completely eliminated, and the soul will reside continuously within the matrix of its Christ Identity, with its attention continuously focused on the shining star of Infinite Love that the God Presence is, and has always been.

     But, before that point is reached, the Path of Initiation requires that some element of the electronic belt forcefield have some impact on the conscious mind of the soul every day, even if the soul gives ten hours of Violet Flame every day. This is because the soul is required to become the Master at identifying the energies associated with the carnal nature, and in proving its ability to be free from any temptation to express them. And ultimately, the soul must prove its ability to rise above them. In other words, you can learn to identify these energies, and you can learn to restrain yourself from expressing them, but at some point, you must learn to transmute them, and thereby rise above them, into a higher vibratory range of expression. The soul will spend many years in the learning of these internal lessons.

     The fact of the matter is, that these lessons must be learned, and this mastery developed, before the soul can rise into a vibratory range (associated with the Christ Identity) wherein the reality of the God Presence (the I AM Presence) becomes actually tangible. What this means, is that these lessons must be learned, and this mastery developed, before the soul can rise into the vibratory range wherein the reality of God's Infinite Love for the soul becomes actually tangible. Therefore, there is a huge incentive here, for the learning of these lessons, and for the development of this mastery. The soul's ultimate cognition of the Reality of Love depends on it.

     Therefore, every golden opportunity that presents itself to the soul, for the expression of an opinion in regards to the present proposal concerning the building of Lake WOW at the Heart of the Inner Retreat, or any other proposal regarding the future of the church, must be seen by every soul as the appearance of the very next step in the vast stair case that will eventually lead the soul to the ultimate cognition of God's Infinite Love. If the soul successfully divides the Real from the Unreal, sets aside the Unreal, and chooses the Real as an expression of its True Identity, then the soul has taken the next upward step towards that goal. If the soul is in state of confusion, and cleaves to the Unreal, and expresses the Unreal, thinking it to be part of its Real Identity, then the soul takes a step down, and away from that ultimate goal.

     Therefore, it is important to understand that the soul never stands pat on neutral ground. Every choice presented by life beckons the soul to take a step up upon that grand staircase, or a step down. By virtue of the dynamic nature of the choice, the soul must either step up, or must step down, but it will never remain on the level it currently occupies. When the Ascended Master Saint Germain remarked that he had made his Ascension as a result of 2 million right choices, this is what he was talking about.

     The Ascended Masters have devoted an enormous amount of time to setting forth the criteria by which the student can discern the Real from the Unreal within himself or herself. The teaching of the Cosmic Clock, depicting the perversions of the 12 Solar Hierarchies, is the starting point for the identification of the most basic expressions of the carnal nature which the student is admonished to put into the flame whenever their presence is discovered within the folds of consciousness. In this respect then, the first few steps in the aforementioned staircase, represent the students proven capacity to identify and cast out the most obvious expressions of the carnal nature.

     I would just point out here, that whenever you come across the phrases "Ascended Master Law", or "the Great Law", or the "Law of God", or the "Law of the Great White Brotherhood," or simply "The Law", in dictations, or in your Keepers of the Flame Lessons, or in lectures by the Messengers, that you can give these concepts tangible substance in your mind by referring to the 12 lines of the Cosmic Clock. The explicitly stated perversions on each of the 12 lines are to be taken as prohibitions embodied in the Great Law.

     For example, in reference to the 12 o'clock Capricorn Hierarchy of God-Power, the Law could be stated thusly,"thou shalt not allow your temple, which is the temple of the Most High God, to be a vehicle for the expression of the energies of Criticism, Condemnation, or Judgment or any form of Black Magic." In reference to the 1 o'clock Aquarius Hierarchy of God-Love, the Law could be stated thusly, "thou shalt not allow your temple, which is the temple of the Most High God, to be a vehicle for the expression of the energies of Hatred and Mild Dislike, or any form of Witchcraft." And so forth around the clock.

     Now, in the course of this discussion, or any discussion, when a student sends out an email dripping with anger, hostility, contempt and disdain, this represents a student who is in a state of abject rebellion against that aspect of the Law represented by the Aquarian Hierarchy of God-Love, which was referred to above as, "thou shalt not allow your temple, which is the temple of the Most High God, to be a vehicle for the expression of the energies of Hatred and Mild Dislike, or any form of Witchcraft." Moreover, when the expression contains explicit negative references to a person's character, i.e. any form of put-down, any use of broad-brush-stroke negative labels (e.g. stupid, fool, idiot, moron, etc.), this student is additionally in a state of abject rebellion against that aspect of the Law represented by the Capricorn Hierarchy of God-Power, which was referred to above as, "thou shalt not allow your temple, which is the temple of the Most High God, to be a vehicle for the expression of the energies of Criticism, Condemnation, or Judgment or any form of Black Magic.

     Those students who engage in this kind of behavior have not garnered the knowledge, the mastery, or the humility before God necessary to see the wisdom of bending the knee before these two aspects of the Law, and therefore, have not even taken even their very first baby steps up that grand staircase leading to the cognition of God's Infinite Love.

     (And please, do pass over this concept of God's Infinite Love, without recognizing, that every time I refer to it, I am referring to the Reality of the Infinite Love that God is personally pouring out upon YOU every moment of the day, and that your cognition of the Reality of that Love, is what will transform your identity from the human, sweeping away all attachments to the fear-based limitations associated with the sense of human mortality, back into that Divine Person that you once were, and are destined to become again.)

     Though we do not condemn one another, even those still mired in an abject web of rebellion against the Law, but rather, we must beckon upward, by attention to, and adherence to, the Great Law. In other words, knowledge of the Law must be promulgated, and the soul given renewed opportunity to make wiser choices in the future based on a better understanding of what the Law requires.

     Now, as students absorb the Masters teaching in this respect, for the vast majority, a word to the wise is sufficient, and they heed the Teaching, and move swiftly to identify and eliminate the most gross expressions of the carnal nature from their worlds. And in this regard, if the reader is wondering what the Christ Mind is composed of, you have an example of it there. If you can recognize and understand the importance of identifying the basic elements of the carnal nature, so you will not be controlled by them, so that you can properly reject any temptation to be influenced by them, seeing clearly, and understanding clearly the need to cast them into the Sacred Fire at their first appearance, that understanding is one of the first signs of the emerging Christ Consciousness in you. When the soul has assimilated that understanding, and integrated itself with it, the soul has integrated itself with a portion of its native Christ Identity.

     So you can see, that the Christ Mind does not come upon you in its fullness all at once, but only in stages, as you are able to assimilate and integrate your sense of identity with it. When you can say with certainty and conviction that a certain dimension of understanding is your understanding, that you totally identify with it, and consider it a functional part of your own identity, which you actually apply with good effect to advance the purposes of God within your own world, and the world of others, to that degree you have become the Christ, to that degree you are the Christ. Once you have mastered that level of understanding, the next level of understanding awaits, and that is what the Path of Initiation is all about. And therefore, we can see that the rejection of such basic dimensions of the Christ Mind, like unto those that are under discussion here, is in fact the rejection of the Christ itself, and that rejection, at these basic levels, becomes a barrier to any further advancement on the path.

     As the most gross and most apparent perversions of the carnal nature are eliminated, the student is faced with the next great task, and this would be the elimination of the more subtle expressions of the carnal nature, which consist of a wide variety of fear-based agendas to which we are all subconsciously wedded, all of which are increasingly more difficult to identify.

     It is academic, that if a certain aspect of the carnal nature is very subtle, and difficult to identify, we will continue to be fooled into thinking that the expression of this aspect of the carnal nature is a part of who we really are. It will continue to fool us, until someone, or something, brings us the message, that this is not who we really are. This means that we cannot bring this (what we cannot see for ourselves) to our own attention, that we need help from the outside to make the identification. And the Heavenly Hierarchy sends messengers to us for this identification purpose, and these messengers can be anyone, and anything. Which means we always need to be paying attention.

     And this is where we are called upon to help one another. And we help one another in the context of discussions like this, i.e. concerning the proposal to build Lake WOW at the Heart of the Inner Retreat. And in fact, I would like to underscore the proposition that this is the very purpose of all issue and project related dialog between Students of the Ascended Masters. In the process of discussing any particular church related issue, we are actually involved in the process of climbing that grand staircase towards a greater cognition of God's Infinite Love (but only when we take advantage of the opportunity presented to divide the Real from the Unreal within ourselves). And I would like to explain how this assistance, this helpfulness, can be extended, one to another, to achieve this purpose, while maintaining perfect God-Harmony within the discussion as a whole.

     Let's begin by recognizing that this manifest quality of helpfulness actually represents an important additional criteria that we all can use to determine whether our Christ Identity is operating within the context of a particular discussion, or whether our carnal mind is operating within the context of a particular discussion. Allow me to explain how and why this is so.

     The Christ Mind in general, and therefore, the Christ Mind of every individual, when it is operating in the clear, is a finely tuned instrument for the identification of Truth, and the exposure of Error. When the Christ mind perceives Truth, the Christ Mind will embrace that Truth with the energies of affirmation and appreciation. And the same is true, but in the opposite manner, when it comes to Error. When the Christ mind perceives Error, the Christ Mind will embrace the opportunity to expose it, and will make every effort to effectively neutralize the ability of that particular Error to hold further sway over the mind that first sent it forth.

     Make note of this important central purpose. When the Christ mind perceives Error, the Christ Mind will embrace the opportunity to expose it, and will make every effort to effectively neutralize the ability of that particular error to hold further sway over the mind that first sent it forth.

     It's a lot like picking a tick out of the scalp of a good friend. It's not always fun, but the effort pays handsome dividends for the victim, in allowing him to escape the potentially horrendous consequences that would ensue if the tick were left where you found it, to further multiply. Not that I personally ever had to pick a tick out of anybody's scalp. But I did watch with considerable fascination, and this was many years ago, while Janette, the wife of my good friend Robert, worked to pry loose a tick from the scalp of a mutual friend. This mutual friend, whose name is Sam, had apparently picked up the tick while working in the forest, clearing underbrush as part of a forest service team if I remember correctly. The tick was not only all puffed up, being full of Sam's blood, but it was also pregnant, and full of tiny baby ticks, with their little arms and legs quivering with anticipation, and starting to stick out all around the periphery of the mother's body, and it was about to burst! And Janette pried it off of his head just in the nick of time.

     Now, why does the Christ Mind do that? The Christ Mind does that, because the sole interest of the Christ Mind, in the context of life on this planet, is to set soul's free from the error that has enslaved them, and entrapped them in regions of illusion, keeping them apart from the Glory of God (i.e. the Glorious Love of God). The universal aspirations of the One Universal Christ, in which we all share, are directed towards this goal of reuniting the soul with God. And therefore, the Christ is interested in helping the soul identify that which stands in the way of the soul's reunion with God. One of the key things that stands in the way of the soul's reunion with God, is the soul's confusion as to what constitutes its Real Identity. Therefore, the Christ Mind goes to the heart of that confusion, and does so, not to condemn the soul for its confusion, but in a spirit of helpfulness, with the purpose of setting a particular soul free from a particular condition of confusion.

     The approach of the Christ Mind in this regard is an expression of balanced priorities. In regards to the discussion of a particular issue, or project, related to the future of the church, the Christ Mind has a natural interest in contributing to the proper fruition of that issue or project, which may require some substantial weeding before the project can blossom appropriately. Moreover, in regards to a project idea that has come forth in the context of community, there is a high probability that other community members may well be in possession of additional important aspects of the overall project blueprint which they access and present through the facility of their own Christ Consciousness. The Christ Mind will be interested in setting forth such additional useful and constructive ideas. But of equal importance is the process of person to person helpfulness that we have been talking about here. Because there is the constant awareness within the Christ Mind, that if this organization is to fulfill its overall purpose, as the Good Shepherd sent by God to the lead the nations into a Golden Age, then every member of the organization must put on their own personal portion of the Mind of that Good Shepherd, i.e. the Christ Mind, and this can only happen if each student receives the necessary help in weeding out of their own consciousness all of the subtle and hard to identify allegiances to the carnal nature that have heretofore gone undetected by them.

     Therefore, in the course of any discussion, if you find yourself adding to the project in a constructive manner, or, if you find yourself going to the heart of any condition of confusion, and you find yourself doing so in a spirit of helpfulness, then there is a very high probability that you are operating within the general vibratory range of your Christ Identity. If you approach the discussion from any other vantage point, there is a very high probability that you are operating within the general vibratory range of your carnal identity, i.e. the identity associated with the (fear-based) life records stored in the electronic belt.

     And so, we must ask ourselves, while the spirit of helpfulness is fairly easy to identify, what does it mean to go to the heart of confusion?

     In regards to identifying the more subtle expressions of the carnal nature, we must first observe, that the positions and opinions which are produced by the carnal mind, proceed from an a priori impulse to fulfill impure (fear-based) desires which arise from the subconscious realm of the electronic belt. This "a priori impulse" is invariably a reactive surge that surfaces from the electronic belt in response to a particularly pointed stimulus. In this respect, the impure desire, or reactive surge, acts first upon the outer consciousness of the soul, and the flood of rationalizations, which the carnal mind then creates to support it, or to justify it, comes second. It is very important to understand this order of events, because it is this understanding that defines the way in which the Christ Mind in each one of us will go to the heart of the confusion in another. Etch this two-step order of events upon your mind:

      1. The fear- based reactiv e surge from the electro nic belt is the first thing that acts upon the outer consciousness. 2. The rationalizations in support of it, to justify it, comes second.

     Now, any soul wedded to the more subtle aspects of the carnal nature, is not in a position to be aware of the existence of the reactive surge, or its origin. Because of this, the rationalizations that pour out of the mind in support of the reactive surge, will always be set forth by the soul, as the foundation elements (the premise) of the soul's position on a given issue. In other words, the soul considers these after-the-fact rationalizations, and them only, as the expression of its true identity: "This is what I think, therefore, this is who I am." The reactive surge occurs below the horizon, and under the surface, beyond the range of the soul's radar. Therefore it is not part of the equation of identity. Therefore, because the soul is consciously aware only of its rationalizations, it is only through the exposure of the invalidity of these rationalizations that the soul can be led into an awareness of their relationship to the reactive surge from the electronic belt. Therefore, for any student of the Teachings of the Ascended Masters, who has a basic familiarity with the ideas and principles related to the subject of the electronic belt, the pathway to the cognition of the reactive surge from the electronic belt, is through the realization of the invalidity of the foundation elements of the argument it has set forth.

     What this means, is that if your sense of the falsehood of a particular assertion is emanating from the center of your Christ Identity, your attention will automatically be focused on the premises set forth in support of the false assertion. Again, the Christ Impulse is not to set forth the reasons why you believe that your own sense of another's perceived foolishness is right, but rather, your purpose is to expose the error in the false assertion, in order that the soul who sent it forth will understand why it is false, and thereby, be set free from any further allegiance to it, and most importantly, have the opportunity to call for the consuming of the very root of it in their electronic belt. In service to this universal goal, your Christ Mind will manifest within your own consciousness, as a tangible energy pattern that will take the form of a certain matrix of understanding. That understanding will reveals why the premise is false, and you will be willing and able to articulate that matrix of understanding to the person who sent forth the false assertion, and you will be able to do so in a clear and understandable manner.

     This is the methodology used by the Christ in each of us to help another soul identify those outcroppings of the carnal nature which the soul has erroneously confused with its Real Identity. In regards to this confusion, when the soul discovers that the premises upon which a certain belief was founded, are false premises, then the soul will understand that the core of the belief structure emanates from the electronic belt, and that the premises which it used to justify that belief structure within its conscious mind, were after-the-fact creations, false creations, which fall into the category of self-justification, which is a specific kind of misqualification that is plotted on the Cosmic Clock, as a perversion of the 6 o'clock Cancer Hierarchy of God-Harmony, wherein the soul has unlawfully used the Light of the Mother to justify the lower self, i.e. to justify the fear and doubt based impulses that emanate from the electronic belt.

     Understanding this, the soul can release these false creations into the Sacred Fire, and can release into the Sacred Fire as well, the root of these false creations which exist within the electronic belt. If the soul makes the conscious choice to do this, then the soul has taken a step up, in that vast staircase that leads to the cognition of God's Infinite Love. And this makes sense, because Love of Truth, is equivalent to the Love of God, because God is Truth, and every choice to affirm Truth, and to jettison Error, is a choice that has the effect of increasing the vibration of Love in your world, thereby drawing you one step closer to God. And the Christ in you has been the catalyst for this forward progress on the Path for that soul.

     In that way, you make the best kind of karma, which, when it returns to your doorstep multiplied, will have the effect of accelerating you upwards, towards the achievement of that great goal of reunion with God through the blessed portal of personal cognition of God's Infinite Love for you personally.

     It is important to understand that this methodology works in two directions at once. On the one hand, it serves to help another gain freedom from an allegiance to error. On the other hand, it serves as a self-check for your own state of Christ Attunement.

     Therefore, if in response to what you feel is a false assertion, you find that your mind is directed away from attention to the premises set forth in support of the false assertion, and that your mind is generating reasoning and rationalizations that are targeted on other areas, everywhere around the periphery of the premises set forth in support of the false assertion, and especially if you find yourself taking aim at the character of the person, then you can be assured that you are operating in the vibratory range of your carnal mind, and you should stop what you are doing, take a step back, give an hour of Violet Flame, and see what matrices of understanding coalesce within your mind while you are in the forcefield of the Altar of the Holy Grail.

     And the reason you should stop what you are doing, is because the expression of the carnal nature, has its own karmic consequence, and when that karma returns to your doorstep multiplied, it will have the effect of causing you to lose additional ground on that grand staircase, drawing to you additional circumstances that will create within you a greater sense of separation from God, and a greater aloneness, and therefore more fear. This is because the carnal nature by definition expresses itself with a general energy and forcefield of fear. When the carnal nature speaks, it speaks with the vibration of fear, it speaks with the color of fear, it speaks with the ambiance of fear, it speaks with the fragrance and the odor of fear. And when that fear energy returns to you multiplied by the law, it will descend upon you as another dark cloud of fear, which you will invariably experience as a heightened level of DOUBT in the personal closeness and sufficiency of God, increasing your sense of disconnection, separation, and aloneness, and thereby multiplying your sense of fear and doubt all the more.

     It becomes ever more important for those who are on the path, to keep their mouths closed, unless they are reasonably certain they have a jewel of Christ Identification to share.

     When the carnal mind is in control, it will produce a train of logic that looks like this: "I believe what I am hearing is so much baloney, and I am going to tell you why I believe that it is so much baloney. And therefore, blah, blah, blah." And the word "baloney" does not simply describe a particular assertion of falsehood, but it casts a wider net, painting the character of the person as a purveyor of "baloney". Note that while the word "baloney" may appear benign, when used by the carnal mind in this way, its vibration is the same as that carried by the term "BS". (Which I will not spell out for you). Here, the actual feeling and sense that something is baloney (or BS) emanates from the electronic belt and not the Christ Mind. And the desire to then generate reasons and rationalizations in support of that feeling, is the process of self-justification. I.e. justifying the emanation of the electronic belt. Within this matrix, there is no manifest desire to make an effort to set the soul free, i.e. the soul who has made the original (allegedly) false assertion. If there were such a desire, the soul's attention, as noted above would be focused on dismantling the premises of the false assertion, in as much as this is the only way the soul will ever come to realize that it has been embracing an Error, instead of the Truth.

     The Christ Mind will always work to dismantle false premises. The Carnal Mind, on the other hand, will always tend to dismantle the character of its perceived adversary.

     In this particular respect, in most cases, any expression of the carnal nature will stand out like a sore thumb when juxtaposed against the backdrop of the ever-present wisdom and efficacy of that quality of helpfulness associated with the Christ Identity. When the fruits of this principle are so close at hand, how crass the carnal nature appears, as it goes about its business of trashing the character of its opponent. And how irrational it reveals itself to be, as it alienates its opponent on the one hand, forcing the opponent into a posture of non- respect, at least in terms of the message that it is receiving, and on the other hand, expecting the opponent to bow down before its allegedly superior wisdom. If the purpose of dialog is not to serve the needs of the opponent, then the only purpose left, is to serve the needs of the human self.

     Discussing things out of the vibratory range of the carnal nature results in the often observed phenomena of people talking past each other, not to each other, and not helping each other.

     And that is largely the case here, when it comes to those who have offered objections to the proposal for the building of Lake WOW at the Heart of the Inner Retreat. In my summation, I listed 12 areas in which this project would bear good fruit. This is a good illustration of the concept of premises. But, only one or two of the objectors addressed those premises. The vast majority completely ignored those premises. Additionally, I have compiled a series of statements which the Ascended Masters have made which I believe sets forth principles in support of my proposal. And I have set forth four of those statements. In each one of those, I put considerable effort into explaining why these statements by the Ascended Masters should be taken as supportive of this proposal. Again, this is a good illustration of the concept of premises. But again, these premises were almost universally ignored by those who offered up their doubts concerning the value of the proposal. Again, the tendency to ignore premises is not the hallmark of the operative Christ Mind.

     The methodology for maximizing the purity of any discussion between two emerging Christ Minds, is very simple once you understand the parameters. If you are interested in contributing the best you have to any discussion, then you will make every effort to contribute to the discussion from the vibratory range of your Christ Identity. And that interest will be manifest in a concerted effort to address the premises of those assertions that you believe to be false.

     If you are at a place on this path where you do not yet relate to having such a thing as a Christ Identity, then the path for you is to imitate the Christ, and thereby provide a chalice, constructed out of the very substance of faith and good sense, into which the actual patterns of your Christ Identity can descend.

     Now, if you make the concerted effort to study the premises of an assertion you believe to be false, and you cannot find fault with the premises, then that tells you one of two things. Either the premises are True, or you are not making the connection to your Christ Mind, and the light of that mind is not flowing into your outer awareness, giving you the insight, and the understanding necessary to see why those premises are false.

     On the other hand, if you make the concerted effort to study the premises of an assertion you believe to be false, but in point of fact, the premises are actually True, but you cannot see why they are True, the same conclusion obtains, i.e. you are not making the connection to your Christ Mind, and the light of that mind is not flowing into your outer awareness, giving you the insight, and the understanding necessary to see why those premises are True.

     Therefore, after making the concerted effort to study the premises of an assertion you believe to be false, and if you come up blank in both areas, not seeing why those premises are false, and not seeing why those premises are true, you should make the responsible decision not to open your mouth, but rather, go to the Altar, increase your devotional time in the giving of your decrees for descent of the Sacred Fire into your temple, until there manifests within you, an insight, an increment of understanding, that will reveal to you why the premises are false, or why they are true. Only then will you have something important and valuable to contribute to the discussion.

     It is not my intent to stifle communication, but to elevate it. If you really, and truly believe that what you have to say represents the essence of who you are, then speak up, for the Great Law also states, "to thine own self be true." After all, you have a duty to be who you are.

     And in this regard, I want to assure everyone, that I sincerely believe that my proposal for the building of Lake WOW at the Heart of the Inner Retreat, is a genuine and sincere expression of my own Christ Identity. I am absolutely certain of it, otherwise, I would have never sent it forth into the community for evaluation. I make no apologies for the fact that I cannot offer up authoritative evidence that would support this assertion, for example, that El Morya said that this was a genuine expression of my Christ Identity, or that Saint Germain said that this was a genuine expression of my Christ Identity, or that some other Master said this was a genuine expression of my Christ Identity. It was up to me to decide if it is, or is not, and then, after I have made the determination for myself, it is up to you to decide for yourself, based on your own developed Christ Discrimination.

     And in this regard, we should understand, that all proposals that come forth from the genuine Christ Identity of any Ascended Master Student, or even the carnal mind of any Ascended Master Student, comes forth as an opportunity for the whole congregation to exercise and thereby further develop their own Christ Discrimination. Each of us must decide for ourselves whether a given proposal is of the Light, or of the Darkness. If it is of the Light, then we help to carry the torch. If it is of darkness, we put it into the flame, and step forth with a helping hand to lead the purveyor of that darkness, out of that darkness, and into the light of true illumination and understanding.

     I believe that this is one of the primary reasons that the Messenger Elizabeth Clare Prophet has decreased, in a manner of speaking, so that the level of Christ Discernment within the student body might have an opportunity to increase. Gone are the days when everyone would look to the Messenger for her opinion on whether some idea was good for the organization or bad for the organization. Gone are the days when her opinion would substitute for the (undeveloped) Christ Discrimination of the many. The foundation for all future achievement, for all that this organization will be, and become in the days ahead, has been laid in the vast body of Teaching already delivered through the Messengers Mark and Elizabeth Prophet. The time to build upon that foundation is upon each and every one of us now. Through our collective deliberations, we all have the opportunity to gauge our level of Christ Discrimination, and if we find it insufficient, we have the necessary tools through which to invoke the necessary increase.

     And this, I think, represents a valid principle, which I believe exposes the origin of anything that comes forth (in the post ECP era) with the assertion that the Master said this, or the Master said that. When someone says, "El Morya told me to tell you such and such", for the vast majority of us, there is no way to judge whether that is true or not. In fact, such assertions tend to shut down the inner process of Christ Discrimination, because the soul who is listening to such messages, will be intimidated, fearing to take a position against what an Ascended Master has supposedly said. I believe that such assertions should be routinely set aside, because in most cases, the "message from on high" can be attributed to astral entities who are making hay with a student who has become puffed up with an inordinate sense of self-importance (which could be, in some cases, due in large part to an illusion of fear and desperation concerning the future of this organization.) I believe that, as a general rule, if the Masters want a particular message promulgated to the community, they will place a matrix of understanding within the Christ Consciousness of a particular student, giving the student a sense of personal ownership of it, giving the student the resources of illumination necessary to successfully champion it, and that message will rise or fall on the basis of how well that student presents the case for it, and how well the membership is able to understand it. As noted, this is the process by which that particular student, and the student body in general, will be challenged to come up higher.

     Now, is it possible, that some students who walk the Path of Initiation under the sponsorship of the Ascended Masters will not be able to recognize some aspect of truth when they see it? This of course is possible, and it is important to understand how this is possible.

     The ultimate truth for every soul is the Reality of the God Presence. For most students, that ultimate truth is currently hidden behind a veil. That veil is composed of misqualified energy. That veil of misqualified energy was created by the soul's misuse of freewill over many lifetimes. When the soul is lured, tricked, and deceived (by the forces of darkness) into embracing error, the pure energy of God that flows into the soul's heart, and from there, out through the consciousness of the soul, and thus through that lense of error, will be misqualified into an energy form that we describe as darkness. The veil is composed of that darkness, and it is absolutely opaque when it comes to the Reality of God.

     Therefore, every erg of darkness within that veil, or shall we say every inky black thread in the veil fabric, is associated with a particular event in the life of the soul, where the soul made a freewill choice to embrace some aspect of error, to draw it close to the heart, and to say, "I love you," in one way or another. This can be stated in another way. Every inky black thread in the veil fabric, is associated with a particular event in the life of the soul, where the soul made a freewill choice to reject some aspect of truth, pushing it away from the heart, saying in effect, "I hate you." These are equivalent, because, when you are embracing error, you are at the same time rejecting truth. Therefore, the veil actually represents millions and billions of choices to embrace error, and reject truth.

     In this respect, it should be noted that the "energy veil" that hides the God Presence from the soul, and the "electronic belt" which stores the records of all life experience wherein the soul has chosen error over truth, refers in a general sense, to essentially the same thing.

     And this requires some explanation. The chakras are the organs of spiritual expression and spiritual cognition. When the chakras are clogged up and polluted with misqualified energy, they are made spiritually dysfunctional, and their vibratory range of operation drops below the level wherein the Reality of God is directly perceivable. These two factors account for what is referred to as the "energy veil."

     In regards to the electronic belt, we observe, that as a matter of Divine Mercy, all of the energy we have ever misqualified in all past lives, does not simultaneously clog all of the chakras. The bulk of it is stored in the electronic belt. Each day, a certain increment of the misqualified energy stored in the electronic belt is released for the purpose of transmutation, and that energy coalesces around those specific chakras which were used in the original act of misqualification.

     This process of incrementally releasing up the contents of the electronic belt for transmutation, begins in earnest at about the age of 12. (Though I think that it is possible, that if the innocence of the child is corrupted before that age, that portions of the electronic belt can be brought up and released into the chakras prematurely, though not in the systematic manner that I am referring to here). Generally speaking, from the age of 12 onward, the release of misqualified energy from the electronic belt and into the chakras, for transmutation, is scheduled and regulated in accordance with the soul's individual Cosmic Clock Cycles. This release occurs systematically and irrevocably. The energy that is released from the electronic belt, for the purpose of transmutation, if not dealt with, will remain coalesced around the chakras.

     It should be noted, that all misqualified energy released from the electronic belt, and into the chakras, as a result of major tests presented to the soul over the course of particular day, are in addition to the systematic releases described here.

      And therefore, all misqualified energy released from the electronic belt, and into the chakras, contributes to the spiritual dysfunctionality of those chakras, and further reinforces the low vibratory range of operation, which is noted above, are the two factors, as note above, that comprise what we call the "energy veil".

     It is worth mentioning again, that as the student develops a strong daily momentum of the invocation of the Sacred Fire, this daily increment of misqualified energy which has been described above, is transmuted, which is also an important step forward in the healing of the dysfunctional nature of the chakras themselves.

     So, when a particular truth, which the soul has already rejected many times before, is again presented to the soul, as it will be, time and again, all the past patterns of rejection of that truth, (which are stored in the electronic belt) are brought to the forefront of consciousness, and lo, the truth is rejected again.

     On this particular point, the electronic belt patterns associated with such patterns of rejection, will take control of the soul's chakras, and through the chakras, will take control of the soul's outer awareness, giving the soul no opportunity to resonate with the energies of light from on high that would otherwise communicate to the soul that it was in the presence of truth. The flame of the heart actually expands in the presence of truth, and that expansion should register upon the consciousness of the soul as a burst of appreciation for the beauty of the truth it has been a witness to. And that's where the God Presence comes into play, for the God Presence is in control of the heart flame. That portion of the veil, which is associated with this pattern of rejection, is also that which blocks off the lines of communication, whereby the expansion of the light that takes place in the heart center, would otherwise be communicated to the outer awareness of the soul. So, not only does this pattern of rejection take control of the outer awareness of the soul, placing the soul into a vibration of doubt, but the pathway of light by which the heart flame would bear witness to this particular aspect of truth, is blocked by that very same pattern of rejection.

     In this manner then, any sincere soul, sincerely seeking God, can come upon some aspect of the Truth, and find itself rejecting that Truth. It's an old pattern, reinforced time and again, presenting a great dilemma for the soul in its quest to achieve reunion with God.

     Nevertheless, the soul is required to retrace its steps. The soul traveled outward from the God-Center by a particular path characterized by the rejection of certain truths, and the embracing of certain errors. The soul travels inward to the God-Center along the same general path, rejecting each Error it has heretofore embraced, and embracing each Truth it has heretofore rejected.

     It should therefore be expected, by each and every one of us, that we will be presented with opportunities, as an integral part of the path, to choose to embrace Truths, in those particular areas in which we have rejected Truth so many times before. Since we have no access to these Truths within ourselves, this means that these Truths must be presented to us by outside messengers, be they circumstances or people. This means that we will be either seeing with our own eyes, within the context of an imperfect world, or hearing with our own ears, out of the mouths of imperfect messengers, what we have so many times before said that we do not want to see or hear. This means that we will again be required to face that all too familiar feeling that emerges from the electronic belt which desires to strike down the offending truth; which desires to reject it out of hand.

     But instead of identifying with this reactive surge from the electronic belt, we must somehow come to see that reactive surge for what it is. We must find within ourselves a determination that we have not manifested before, to be free from that influence, to reject that influence, and to finally embrace the Truth instead. Not easy. But if the path were easy, we would all have made our Ascension many many lifetimes before this.

     The incentive to make the right choice this time around, is contained in the certain knowledge that if the soul can identify and reject a particular aspect of electronic belt slavery, putting it into the flame, that a portion of the veil that separates the soul from the God Presence will be thereby consumed, bringing the soul closer to the day of its reunion with that Shining Star of Infinite Love that the personal God Presence has always been, and will always be.

     These are the dynamics that are present in every discussion that occurs between students of the Ascended Masters. And it would be wise to participate in these discussions with these dynamics at the very center of our attention.

     This is the bottom line: The interaction between emergent Christ Minds on the path, is all about freedom. It is all about helping to set each other free to BE more of who we are supposed to be.

"Come now, and let us reason together sayeth the Lord: though yours sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool" (Isaiah 1:18)

     This pattern of conversation, as described in this paper, was designed by God for his children who would enter into a Golden Age. And for the members of this organization, who represent the vanguard of the Golden Age for the planet, it is our solemn responsibility to adhere to it, and to master it, as an example to the nations.

     Let no one ever forget this fact: This organization is the Good Shepherd sent by God to Lead the Nations into a Golden Age. If this organization will not pick up the Shepherd's Crook and lead, there will not be another.
