Who Will Our Next
Spiritual Leader Be?

here       I would propose that future candidates for the Office of Spiritual Leader of Church Universal and Triumphant should be able to exhibit the ability to walk on water before being considered qualified to occupy that office. I propose that this be the one and only qualification for this office. I would propose that any Ascended Master Student who can do it, and who wants the job, ought to automatically become the spiritual leader of this organization.

May I suggest that we begin now, and in earnest, to prepare for this qualification event. We should immediately set into motion a planning and design process for the creation of a small lake at an appropriate place in the Heart of the Inner Retreat where candidates for this office can demonstrate their abilities in this regard to the whole congregation who have gathered at one of our annual summer freedom conferences for this purpose.

This small lake need not be any larger than the one which existed on the property of Camelot which we called Swan Lake in deference to the persnickety white bird that perpetually cruised its quiet and tranquil waters (and who was known on occasion to march forth to require tributes of lunch snacks from students who gathered to enjoy and relax around the picturesque landscape). This new lake, in the Heart of the Inner Retreat, can be strategically placed to form the center piece of the conference landscape. Mol Heron creek can be redirected to fill it and perpetually feed it.

The prospect is quite exciting to me, that the one who demonstrates this capacity to walk on water will enjoy a mantle of authority not unlike that which rested upon the shoulders of the one who pulled the sword from the stone so many centuries ago, and who ruled over the round table of old. The unifying power of such a demonstration would not only provide a great wave of comfort and healing throughout this organization, but throughout the whole world as well.

And therefore, can there be any doubt that the Teachings of the Ascended Masters can, and should, produce such clear and tangible fruits, and that if this particular fruit is to be made manifest, that it ought to be made manifest in the next spiritual leader of this organization?

Can we, should we, expect any less of the leader of an organization which has been set before the world as the Good Shepherd sent by God to lead the nations into a Golden Age? In my mind, there can be no doubt, that this is what the future will require of this organization.
