The passing of Elizabeth Clare Prophet on the evening of October 15, 2009, represents one of the most important events in the history of this (TSL) organization. And upon the occasion of such an event, I believe it would be useful to make a clear statement on the reason why the Judgment of the Law fell so heavily upon her head. And so, I want to be clear, and emphatically on the record on this point. I want to see understanding reign supreme - because understanding can be a shield against both continued, and increased, folly. I want to see the brilliant rays of light which can shine radiantly from many candles of truth dissipate the misty murkiness of the sludge-like sympathies that would otherwise engulf the minds of the people on such sorrowful occasions - because people who are free from the sucking vacuum of sludge-like sympathies are able to move far more quickly, with a much greater degree of alacrity, towards the radiant goal of their personal freedom in the Light of God.

     Elizabeth Clare Prophet woefully misused her administrative powers in her willful blocking of the forward movement of the Divine Plan and Mission of myself and my Twin Flame beginning in the early part of May 1986. Over the ensuing years, she was given several opportunities to remedy the situation. But she proved to be impervious to any kind of reasoning. And as she became more intransigent in this regard, her condition slowly grew worse. This is certainly no coincidence. Even when she was becoming desperate to find the reason behind her decline, desperate to find the reason behind the judgment that had descended upon her, where the Ascended Masters were powerless to lift a finger in her defense, and where she was looking here, and looking there, and throwing out all kinds of generalized apologies for mistakes she might have made, she refused to consider reversing the gross miscarriage of justice that was associated with the blocking of my Divine Plan and Mission, and that of my Twin Flame. She had made too many mistakes along this line, and obviously felt that if she reversed course that she could in no way save face. And so, in her fear of not being able to save face in the light of the truth, her worst fear came upon her, even as the law requires. ALL of her prestige was stripped away from her in the end. And the ignominious nature of the end to which she came, the Ascended Masters chose to have written on the record, so there could be no mistake. She had made a grievous offense against the Law, for which she had to pay the price. For the Ascended Masters, the message inherent in the ignominious end to which she came, a message they pray all lovers of truth will digest, was far more important than their messenger saving face.

     "Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!"

     And so it came to pass, according to the very Law of Karma that she had devoted her life to proclaiming, that what she had done to Us, the law required that this same thing fall upon her own head. And in this regard, that the Law was no respecter of persons. And thus it was. All further opportunity was withdrawn from her. And quite unexpectedly too, as she had many productive years before her. And she certainly had her own plans on how she was going to fill those years. But the curtains closed. This affliction of mindlessness descended upon her for the reason stated, a Judgment of the Law that no healing prayers over the course of eleven years, given by any number of sincere devotees, had any impact whatsoever in alleviating.

     Yes, this enthusiastic proponent of the healing power of angels, and of the Ascended Masters generally, could not be healed. And this was not because healing power does not exist in the hearts of those who are United with God, for it does reside therein, but because the Law forbade the flow of that healing power to her.

     Yes, she lingered for ten years, carrying this burden of karma, and I believe that this was for the purpose of balancing some of it, but not all of it, because as you can see, it took her out of embodiment. Karma requires, that the ship you have wrecked, you must help to rebuild.

     I think that as a result of her balancing some of this karma, that the Divine Plan, and the Divine Mission of Myself and my Twin Flame has a renewed opportunity to go forward. I believe that the Lords of Karma have decided that the soul of Elizabeth Clare Prophet could do more to continue in the balancing of this karma from inner levels, than she could by continuing to carry the weight of this mindless energy of disintegration, this aspect of her psychology that remained short sighted, and utterly selfish to the very end, and which under some circumstances turned vast quantities of light into utter darkness. Clearly now, her whole being knows the truth, and understands the magnitude of the offense she committed, which resulted in the law falling upon her own head with such weight. Now, a new phase of opportunity is before her, where she can make some active and conscious decisions to make things right, where she had heretofore done everything in her power to make them wrong. Not in all areas, but indeed, in this specific area was all the power of her being devoted to opposing the Truth.

     Here was a compartment of darkness in her pyschology that the Ascended Masters could not penetrate. Anything that appeared to contradict the flow of her desires within this compartment, she instantly labeled the enemy. Within this compartment, Elizabeth Clare Prophet was a law unto herself.

     As you might remember, President Ronald Reagan was roundly applauded by the Ascended Masters for the accomplishment of many good deeds in the domain of national security especially. But, when he was caught in the web of betrayal, negotiating with the Communists for the removal of the intermediate range nuclear deterrent from Western Europe, they did not hesitate to call a spade a spade. They called him a betrayer. And this was because at one point in time he used all the power of his office to betray the Purposes of God. You can thank Ronald Reagan for the fact that the specter of Soviet First Strike, and that of Nuclear War hung over America through the late 1980's and into the early 1990's. Indeed, for the cause of "peace" he removed the only deterrent that really mattered to the Soviets, those intermediate range Pershing missiles deployed throughout Western Europe. For the crime of betrayal, he had to pay the price. And he fell into the darkness of Alzheimer disease himself. Ronald Reagan and Elizabeth Clare Prophet, both friends of the Ascended Masters, for their own reasons, were led into betraying an important part of the plan of the Great White Brotherhood, and they both suffered the same fate.

     In the case of Elizabeth Clare Prophet, where there was no buffer between her misuse of raw institutional power, and the victim upon whom that power landed, the institution of due process standards would have been enough to check this abuse, and many others. It is unconscionable of course, that as of this late date, that no due process standards have been incorporated into the TSL organizational structure, and that the membership itself had become generally blind to the need for this essential mechanism of compassion and justice by which the impact of raw power upon individuals can be mitigated. Karmic accountability is spread evenly across the entire membership on this point, and all carry the weight of karma associated with the cancellation of many divine plans when, in 2003, the unity of the Moscow Study Group was destroyed by Presidents Lois Drake, Kate Gordon, Church Manager Linda Worobec, and the Board of Directors of that day. Every member of this organization who sat on their hands on that day bears the weight of that infamy upon their own heart, mind and soul today. And this weight cannot be lifted until they choose to stand up in defense of the very truth which they turned their back on in that day.

     And I would say to you, therefore, to those who love truth above all else, let us not follow the worldly pattern where the newly deceased are made to appear lilly-white on passing. The indulging of falsehood will never accrue to the soul anything of lasting value, and quite to the contrary. In service to the web like tentacles of sympathy, the ankles of the soul are further bound in a state of immobility. In this predicament, the mind cannot soar into the domain of truth, and thus will remain immutably chained to the stumps which populate all the hillsides of this clear-cut twilight zone of human delusion.

     The magnitude of the offense that Elizabeth Clare Prophet committed against myself and my twin flame, and thus against the purposes of the Great White Brotherhood, will only become clear, when the magnitude of our mission unfolds before the world. And it will unfold. Only then will the members of this organization truly understand the justice inherent in the judgment that came upon Elizabeth Clare Prophet in the end.

     Until then, every moment you spend with your back turned against the obvious truth, will have karmic consequences for all. In this you will be building a barrier between your own soul and your own inner truth, which is your own Christ Identity. By the time the truth is apparent to your physical eyes, you will have built up a barrier that you will have neither the time nor the opportunity to dismantle in this life. And a pity it will be.

     And so, it would be prudent, then, to recognize this aspect of the situation, which entangles in the karmic equation all people who gloss over the injustices of a beloved leader. Yes, this desire to turn their back upon the truth, because it tends to diminish the lofty picture they have of their idol, has karmic repercussions. This is not the Christ that wants to turn one's back on the truth, but the dweller on the threshold, even the very psychology of evil anchored within the circuitry of the soul's psychology. See how it stubbornly defends the illusion of perfection, at the same time that it makes an enormous effort to refuse to respect the truth written by the Ascended Masters themselves into the very circumstance of her decline and of the end to which she came. In this way, the soul is making a further alliance with the dweller on the Threshold of idolatry, which is an alliance with the very force whose intent it is to murder the inner Christ Child at its first appearance. Make no mistake about it. Every fiber of your being which is opposed to seeing the truth in this area, are the very fibers of being that will contribute to the slaying of the Christ Light that tries to emerge from your very own heart.

     Idolatry is the soul's worst enemy.

     When you turn your back on the injustices committed by your idol, 80% of your enthusiasm about that idol is rooted in a psychology of idolatry and is a misqualification of the 4/10 axis of the cosmic clock (spiritual blindness and rebellion). Yes, there is something in that psychology that can be enthusiastic about the breaking the law, and can take with equal enthusiasm an "I don't care" attitude. And this is not a manifestation of the light of the heart. It is a condition of human darkness. Look at the exhilarated faces of those who ride roller coasters. If you could see their auras, in the area of the heart you would see darkness. In the energy movements in the aura itself, it is like a storm that is whipping up these sensations, which bring a smile to the face. It is nevertheless all darkness, though the people are finding pleasure in it. The psychology of Idolatry is somewhat similar, in as much as the soul is riding the inner emotional roller coaster of doubt and fear. The car rockets to the false "summit" of idol worship by the power of fear, not by the power of the light. The false "summit" of idol worship, is at the same time the false "summit" of self-justification. But the soul will fall down into the dumps almost immediately thereafter, as the soul has not developed the light of the heart to keep the consciousness elevated and balanced.

     ECP was the messenger of the Great White Brotherhood. In that position she was given great power over the lives of the membership. In some cases she misused that power, and destroyed divine plans. In some cases she refused to budge. In this case, the mercy of the law had to step aside, and allow the law to work itself out, to bring down on her own head, that which she felt so self-justified in bringing down on the head of others. This is why her affliction was not healed. And it took her out of embodiment.

     The sign of the balanced mind is to eschew the impulse to crucify the messenger of truth (in this case me) who appears to bring ill tidings regarding the idol, and instead to ask probing question. For example, the light of the heart, which is only interested in the victory of truth, when developed would inspire in the mind a question like this: "Tell me, if you will, what did she do to destroy the divine plan of you and your twin flame?" The fact that you did not ask that question, shows that the driving force in your psychology is yet that of fear. For you fear to hear the truth, that in hearing it, your idol might fall into a pile of rubble at your feet.

     Walking the middle way requires the soul to have a balanced perspective. First, we must recognize all of the good things that ECP did. And she did many good things. Second, we must realize that she was prone to mistakes, and to recognize those mistakes, so that we don't get trapped into worshipping those mistakes, and using them as a guide for our own behavior. Third, we must hold the line, as devotees of truth, in the championship of what she did accomplish for the good, and the right, and not to allow the mistakes to characterize the whole. In this regard, let's say that the golden cloth of her messengership is 95% pure gold. I would personally agree with that characterization. I would not go any lower than 95%. However, the importance of identifying and pulling out the 5% of black threads is underscored by the fact that these black threads have the potential of destroying the divine plan of other souls if ingested as if they were spiritually nutritious, as all error represents an open door to the astral plane and its destructive influences. When we look at the end to which she came, this message is clearly trumpeted therein.

     In that regard, Mark Prophet liked to say, that when considering the validity of eastern teachings, Buddhism, Hinduism, and so forth, that not everything that glitters is gold. This principle applies to ECP. And so, in setting this principle before us, Mark Prophet was setting a responsibility before us, to make the appropriate differentiations.

     Idolatry is a condition rooted in the untransmuted substance on the Ruby Cross, a structural amalgamation which serves as a receiving antenna for the electromagnetic emanations which issue forth from the polluted chakras of various astral entities, demons for example, which follow the lightbearers around like a pack of wolves, attempting to push them over the line into the domain of hatred. You see, Deanna, they have succeeded in your case.

     When you call someone "vile" you are expressing your hatred for them. And this, on the Path of Initiation, is an egregious violation of the law on two levels.

     From Deanna's example, we can see clearly the relationship between the idolization of the leader (an idolization that is stubbornly blind to any faults that leader might have, stubbornly blind to any mistakes that leader might have made) and the idolization of her own NOT SELF. Yes. That's right. The two go hand in hand, like twin flames on the left handed path. I have told you that the forces on the astral plane have gained access to your emotional body, and they have pushed you over the edge into the domain of hatred. And in this, you have broken the most important law. And what will you do with that information? You will deny it. You will see your hatred as totally justified, as if it were some divine virtue. You will not admit that you have broken the very Law of Love which the entire Teaching is founded on, and in an egregious manner.

     You know the teaching against the expression of hatred. And you will disobey that teaching, and dig in you heels in your disobedience. You know the teaching on what the responsibility of the student is, when the student is informed that they have made an egregious error, and broken the law. Yet, you will disobey that teaching too. In service to this desire to thoroughly trash the person you FEEL is your enemy, a feeling that is a product of a corrupted and polluted emotional body, you will feel good in the very midst of your disobedience, and you will defend your state of satisfaction in this verbal trouncing you have delivered to your enemy. Thus we see illustrated in your expression, the relationship between your idolization of ECP, and your idolization of your own not-self, that part of your personality that can justify hatred, that part of your personality that refuses to surrender the out-of-alignment state, that part of your personality that feels good in the midst of the spiral of disobedience, all of which keeps you from receiving the real initiations of the Ascended Masters.

     And that's why I have said, that behind idolatry stands the Hatred of the Light, and of the Mother Flame. Not only is your own idolatry founded on this very composition of untransmuted substance, that is, the accretion of pollutants on the 1 o'clock line of God, on the 4 o'clock line of God-Obedience, on the 7 o'clock line of God-Gratitude, and on the 10 o'clock line of God-Vision, this conglomeration of untransmuted substance offers an open door through which the denizens of the pit can further manipulate your emotional body, fanning the intensity of hatred therein to a degree much greater than you could otherwise accomplish on your own. (See the delineation of the misuses of the light on the 12 lines of the clock.)

     Make no mistake about it. Along with idolatry comes this vulnerability to being further manipulated by the darkside. The two issues go hand in hand.

     Consider soberly, how this dweller of idolatry has distorted your mind and emotions into a very grotesque (and untenable) exaggeration, where on the one hand, HUMAN BEING #1 (ECP), can do or say nothing wrong. And HUMAN BEING #2 (ME) can do or say nothing right.

     And consider this as well, how this mind distorting influence of the dweller of idolatry makes you into a liar. That's right. How can the moral of your story be true that "Mother taught you how to Love?" (Referring to your ECP memorial recollection which is now part of the public record at 1:32:32). In light of your response to me, how can that be true? Clearly, that lesson has not penetrated into the psychology of the dweller of Idolatry which you have neither identified nor surrendered.

     I get the impression that you are in some kind of a leadership position in the Bozeman Study Group. You should relinquish your position of leadership immediately, until your can get this issue resolved. This is because, in a leadership position, your idolatry pollutes the chakras of those around you. In this situation you are not balancing karma, you are making more and more karma as you teach others how to disguise hatred behind the mask of "love" (for a leader).

     And Yes, I see how puffed up you have become in regards to a high sense of self-importance in helping the little children of Tibet. But I want you to be clear on this. All those who indulge this dweller of idolatry fit into the category of those who are accommodating the dweller on the threshold, piling up good works to the right, good works to the left, but all of it for not, as this is never the acceptable offering as our Own Beloved Kuthumi has made so clear. On the Path of Initiation, the acceptable offering is the slaying of the dweller on the threshold. And the sign of the slaying of the dweller on the threshold is the appearance of a genuine spirit of contrition and repentance in regards to the law that was broken, and a corresponding effort to correct the mistake.

Vol. 28 No. 9 - Beloved Kuthumi - March 3, 1985 Remember the Ancient Encounter On Discipleship under Lord Maitreya      Thus, each one sent comes with a prayer that none of these little ones should be lost save the son of perdition. And who is the son of perdition? I tell you, he is not the bogeyman! He is not your worst enemy that you imagine to be nine feet tall.      The son of perdition is the dweller on the threshold of your own house. It should be lost and rightfully so—and swiftly! But it is difficult to become a dragon-slayer when the age of chivalry has long passed. Some find it a bit unpleasant to take up sword and slay the not-self. But in the meantime, while their stomachs are in too delicate a condition (and their egos as well) to perform this act, they themselves are being devoured by the dweller—dallying, marking time, and often drifting backwards with no realization. For in relativity, it sometimes appears one is going forward when one is standing still or moving backward.      Thus, precious hearts, understand that the ascension is the acceptable offering. . . . . .  The Path of Accommodation of the Dweller      I come with the message of Maitreya and to amplify his previous messages. For he has spoken of the path of accommodation whereby, instead of slaying the dweller, you find ways to go around this side and around that side. And thus, you begin to build the tower of light—you build a great momentum of decrees and service, trusting that somehow, in some way, this terrifying encounter will go away. But it will not go away.      And the day you discover once again that all of that goodness is not the acceptable offering is the day when in the presence of Maitreya you once again encounter face-to-face that dweller on the threshold.      You may go far and wide and keep a wide berth from the messenger and never notice the dweller and build a positive human momentum in those outer attainments, whether through yoga or decrees or this or that discipline. And you may be very happy with yourself, and others may be exceedingly happy with you. Of course, this is not the question. The question is whether your I AM Presence and Christ Self are happy and whether your Teachers will tell you that in the light of cosmic initiation your offering is acceptable.      Thus, beloved, to avoid the Masters or to avoid the instrument whereby we may speak to you is to avoid the Day of Reckoning [of your karmic accountability] which has been called, in biblical terms, the day of vengeance of our God.      Clearly, they have jumped much too fast at an opportunity to use her passing to further divide the ascended master student community, and to draw more people away from the core organization and the core teaching. And I think in this rush to grab the limelight, they seem to have stumbled over a very important point. Would not the Brotherhood, that is, the Heavenly Hierarchy, have waited until after the cremation ceremony before the actual ascension ritual could be performed? In their rush to grab the limelight, I think they have put the cart before the horse, like serving up a frozen pizza before it was cooked, and given us a good reason to further believe that behind the false messenger David C. Lewis is only a bunch of power hungry Black Magicians.

     Talented in the black arts they may be. And able therefore to pull the wool over the eyes of many. Yes even to deceive the very elect. Or some of them anyway. Nevertheless, in this very concrete issue of whether an ascension ritual under these circumstances would more likely to be performed after the cremation ceremony, and not before it, we have a little bit of concrete evidence that exposes the true colors of this David C. Lewis.

     Opportunistic and power hungry is surely a sign that we can hang around his neck now.
