When the children first arrived in the Land
of Narnia by virtue of their magic rings, it was a non-world, and dark, with nothing
manifest there at all. It was also very quiet, that is, at first. (The Chronicles of Narnia,
C.S. Lewis, p. 64). We then read how the Land of Narnia was created by sound,
specifically, by the voice of the Lion, Aslan. Lewis describes in a masterful manner
the various songs and tones sung by Aslan along with the various things that first
come
into BEING as a result. The voice of Aslan created a very very beautiful world. With
this
freshly at the forefront of my mind, it recently struck me, and not inconsequentially,
that
the performance of Handel's Ombra Mai Fu by the baritone Dmitri
Hvorostovsky
would serve to illustrate the power of the voice in the creation of beautiful worlds in
the
tradition of the Lion Aslan. See if you agree.
As you are eating your bowl of rice, your
mind could
adopt a posture of gratitude and appreciation, forming thoughts like this: thank-you O
God my
Dear Heavenly Father, my Dear Heavenly Mother, for this awesome body temple that
can take
this food, break it down into its most essential components, and can then send these
little bitty
bunches of building blocks, more accurately than UPS, exactly to the right place
throughout my
entire body! Truly, I think amazement and wonder are the best dinner companions.

The Monster of
Socialism

The monster of socialism is a huge black
ASTRAL spider that sits at the center of the Democrat Party feverishly weaving, in
the name of compassion, a larger and larger web of government dependency and
control. The health care bill, just passed by the U.S. House, by the slimmest of
margins, is just another attempt to expand that web and catch upon it, many
millions of additional juicy prizes upon which it intends to feed for many
decades to come.
The First Commandment - "Thou shalt
have no other gods before me.
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is
in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God
am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third
and fourth generation of them that hate me." (Exodus 20:3-5)
Government is clearly the largest graven
image you could imagine. It is certainly man-made. And people are certainly
required,
more and more, to bow down before it. And thus, you can see where this obsession
with health care comes from, as the bodies of the people disintegrate as God our
Father
does as promised, delivering the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the
third and
fourth generation of them that hate Him.
It is LAWFUL for the soul to depend on
God for every need.
It is unlawful for the soul to look away
from God, to reject God as the source of every good and perfect thing, and to
look to another "source" for its supply. Once people are tempted into
abandoning the true source of all supply, what option are they left with
but to pick the pockets of those who have not abandoned that supply?
In this regard, socialism is a vast organism
of rebellion, designed by the false hierarchy for just this purpose, of tempting the
people
by the millions and billions to transfer their allegiance away from the True God (the
one
that causes their hearts to beat), to a false god (which only feeds off of their bodies
like
a flock of vultures). I think the people of China could relate to what I'm saying there.
Yes, in America we have a fallen culture as
well, but the question is, which way is it moving? Is the culture moving in the
direction
of greater allegiance to God? It used to be. Or, is the culture moving in the direction
of
a greater allegiance to a false god? With Obama leading the parade, the answer is
clear.
He is trying to place into law the principle of allegiance to a false god, the god
of government, who he falsely portrays as having the power to improve the
people's health. This is worse than ridiculous. It is a dangerous notion because
the people are being pulled in a direction where they will lose the very ground of
freedom that they appear to be standing upon today.
This great lurch in the direction of
socialism will further poison the free-enterprise system, reducing the capacity
of the economy to generate wealth. At the center of this beast of darkness is
exactly this intent. The idea is to create more poor people, who emotions can
be fanned into resentment and anger, and thus be moved like a puppet at the
appropriate time to either vote or fight on the side of tyranny. There is no
coincidence in the fact that the budding socialist dictator of Venezuela Hugo
Chavez, sees a fellow traveler in Barrack Obama. Birds of feather, well,
they do flock together.
