"Today
it feels important to tell you that I bless the day we met, and will
continue to do so until I've taken my last breath. Your endless
gifts to me bespoke a generosity of spirit that I'd never before
been confronted with, and will be surprised to encounter ever again.
Quite simply, you are the kindest man I have ever known. As I review
my life, our time together was a landmark event for me...life
changing. I knew at the time, and I know it still. I will never be
the same."
The above quote is not, as one would surmise,
from "All for the Love of God." It is written by an actual slave (to
his master) and quoted from p. 141 of a book called "Slavecraft:
Roadmaps for Erotic Servitude" by Guy Baldwin. I cite it here to
demonstrate the close similarities between so-called 'chelaship' as
recounted by Alex Reichardt, and masochistic submission as
exemplified by people in the BDSM community who are involved in 24/7
consensual master/slave relationships. But BDSM participants are
clear about their contract, and it is not maintained through
intimidation, or threats of spiritual damnation. And that's exactly
what held Reichardt in thrall to Mark Prophet.
Reichardt,
p.29 "I saw his great love for people, his honesty and how down to
earth he really was. There was nothing phony about Mark. He met each
person where they were and treated everyone like his best friend. A
very generous-hearted person, he was humble before God and man,
always willing to give the other person the benefit of the
doubt...He was as joyful as a child. Before long we were like the
best of friends, and I viewed him as the caring father I had always
wanted."
The similarity of these two quotes is striking.
Sadly, Reichardt's feelings of friendship and loyalty toward my
father were not reciprocated.
Consider the following. As a
child of perhaps six or eight, I remember my father referring
repeatedly to Alex Reichardt as an "idiot," and "nincompoop." My
sister Becky remembers dad saying again and again, "Alex, you
twerp!" At the time, I actually felt sorry for Alex. I listened to
my father saying these things, and wondered what in the world Alex
could have done to deserve such enduring scorn. Realize that this
was a man who basically gave up his life for my parents. He waited
on my dad hand and foot, rode around with him in the car, massaged
his feet on a regular basis, (to help Mark Prophet carry "world
karma" of course) and did whatever he was asked, at any hour of the
day or night.
I remember specifically one incident when dad
berated Alex behind his back because Alex hung his pants up crooked
on a wire hanger. I never heard my dad remark even once how grateful
he was to Alex for his service, only how clumsy he was. Another
running joke with dad was how Alex had fallen asleep and forgot
which of my dad's feet he'd been rubbing. "Which one?" dad would
tell the story, mimicking Alex and curling his lip derisively, then
he would guffaw. He blamed Alex for leaning the wrong way and
causing a motorcycle accident where dad had been driving. (p.131)
Both of them got pretty banged up. I was there when they came home
and saw their torn clothes and bloody knees. A caring master who had
Alex' best interests at heart would have humbly apologized.
Alex is a man who gave my dad total loyalty, even to the
point of signing over his unemployment checks to help dad pay the
bills when money was tight. Yet a short few years later when Alex
forgot to pack my dad's shoes for a trip, Alex had to replace them
at a cost of $15. Monthly staff salaries were coincidentally also
$15.
It didn't end there. Alex was fined $45 (a whopping
three month's salary) for letting someone into a service with liquor
on their breath, chastised for picking onions off a sandwich, and
blamed for his "doubts" supposedly preventing my dad from lifting
the fog on one occasion. (Yes, you heard that right--dad claimed to
be able to control the weather.) Alex was fined the total cost of
postage when he sent a mailing out first class instead of air mail.
His crime? He had sent the mailing as per standard procedure and not
asked beforehand. Alex was told he'd made a "week's worth of karma"
because he spoke louder than a whisper in the unoccupied chapel.
He'd "disturbed the forcefield."
Dad mocked Alex by
"knighting" him Sir Bernard, quipping that if he worked really hard
he could become "Saint Bernard," implying that he was loyal to a
fault, like a dog. (p.115)
Yet when things went wrong, Mark
Prophet was quick to blame Alex. On p.143 Alex describes how he and
Ruth Farnam were constantly singled out as examples of bad behavior.
Alex excuses this public shaming as essential to the process of
instilling humility. Again, humiliation is a staple of BDSM, and the
more I read of this book, the more I realized how deeply this
metaphor holds. And therein lies the problem.
It is
important to understand that "All for the Love of God" is really two
books. It is a book documenting the life of the author, and certain
events which took place on staff of "The Summit Lighthouse" mostly
in the late 1960's and early 1970's in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
This section of the book is factual, and according to my
recollection, highly accurate.
But there is a second book
without which the first makes no sense. That second book involves
flights of fancy so extreme and outlandish as to defy description.
Only "in a world" of invisible (but real) masters, angels and past
lives does the concept of spiritual training involving real-world
humiliation make sense. Strangely, Alex recites his justifications
without a trace of irony or acknowledgement of their absurdity
(which is plainly apparent to anyone else).
The first and
second books are thoroughly intertwined and inseparable. Alex
describes past lives of the "messengers" and staff as if he were
talking about well-established historical facts. He provides only
self-referential evidence for any of the spiritual teachings. The
book contains an appendix of "dispensations" of angels that he
claims form some sort of spiritual "posse" around each person. To
get an idea of just how ridiculous this is, on p.299, he tallies up
the "posse:" "15 Seraphim, 4 Cherubim, 10 angel groups, 22 specific
angels, 13 elementals, 1 Terton (whatever that is), 1 Ascended
Master, plus your guardian angel." That's substantially north of 100
angels per person.
I'm sorry, even by the standards of
garden variety religious hyperbole, this is over-the-top. This level
of disconnection from reality would normally get a person
institutionalized. We're expected to believe that these wild stories
he presents are objective realities? It strains every fiber of
credibility to the breaking point.
So how to analyze this
book? It's utterly incomprehensible without the spiritual component.
Otherwise it reads like the narrative of a non-consensual slave, and
comes off painful and pathetic. It's surprising how similar "All for
the Love of God" actually is to "Mark Prophet: The Man and the
Myth." (Available at the Black Sun Journal site) Both recount nearly
identical events. Peter Arnone rejects the supernatural component,
and Alex embraces it. Peter's account makes much more sense. I'm
sorry to say that it portrays Mark Prophet as a very ordinary weak,
self-centered and manipulative human being.
But Alex seemed
determined to reframe Mark Prophet's legacy in loftier terms. I only
wish I could concur with him. But I cannot. In places, Reichardt
even lets his exasperation show. But then he quickly self-justifies
to let Mark Prophet off the hook and give him the benefit of the
doubt--which is more than Alex ever got. Alex writes most credibly
in this voice of the true and loyal slave.
Not satisfied
with his own account, Reichardt bolstered it with no fewer than 16
co-authors. A lot of these people were my friends and mentors (or at
least acquaintances). I grew up with many of them, and once looked
up to many of them. These include Svend Andersen, Merle Bouma, Terry
Canady, Timothy Connor, John Fox, Dorothy Lee Fulton, Donald Galvin,
Alexandro Genis, Joseph Genito, Philip Hoag, Michael Kinchloe,
Kenneth McNeel, Celeste Miller, Tom Miller, Paul Quintero, and Alex'
wife Margaret. Regardless of how I may feel personally about these
people, arguments from popularity don't really hold water. What's
important is to be objective, and that would involve at least the
examination of this entire story in more human terms.
As
people arguing for a more realistic portrayal of Mark Prophet I can
offer myself and my three sisters, Mark's five children from his
first family, Peter Arnone (author of Mark Prophet, the Man and the
Myth), John Pietrangelo (author of Lambs to the Slaughter), Randall
King (my mother's third husband, who knew Mark very well in the
years before his death). There are no doubt others. But that's
beside the point.
Mark Prophet was neither a god nor a
monster. He was a human being with typical desires and drives. He
had the gift of gab, a thirst for personal power, and more than
ordinary insecurities.
As a young man, he felt he had been
unrecognized for his spiritual gifts, and had limited material
success for the first 40 years of his life. But then he had hit upon
a winning formula: by becoming a "messenger" he could express his
spiritual beliefs and be materially rewarded at the same time. He
finally managed to put together the support base and recognition he
had been looking for. He left his first wife and five children and
married my mom, who was twenty years younger. In essence, he did
what anyone in his position would have done: he went all-out.
As his supporters grew and contributed more money, he began
to feel beyond reproach. He began to believe his own press. He
eventually became almost completely disconnected from what composed
his real power base--the loyal members and staff. He could abuse
them, he could treat them like slaves and damn if they didn't come
back for more!
The more cruel and insensitive he and
Elizabeth became over the years, the more the staff worshiped them.
What human beings could handle that kind of positive feedback
without becoming corrupted?
This book fails to address that
question. As a historical record, I'm glad Reichardt wrote it. He
has an excellent memory, and these events need to be documented. I'm
glad to have it for my family history if nothing else. So I give it
four stars. But that's where my praise ends. The flamboyantly
fictional embellishments of supernatural fantasy take this book into
another realm--that of a Paul-Bunyanesque spiritual tall tale which
nonetheless reeks of abuse and dupery. The coup de'grace in that
department was the account on p.178 where Alex was serving my dad
breakfast in his bedroom. Dad thought that Alex looked a little
nervous, so he threw the tray of food at him, saying "Forget about
yourself and just serve!"
Any man who wasn't wearing an
imaginary dog-collar would have quit on the spot. Alex justified the
act as something he needed for his growth. This is the mentality of
a slave.
I'm all for consensual slavery if that's what
someone really wants. I've known several people in that situation.
Some people thrive on surrender and self-effacement. They find a
form of freedom there. I do think that under the right conditions
with the right master, it's a viable container for psychological
growth, but it's fraught with perils: In order for the slave to
consent, s/he needs to first have full self-awareness and the
absolute strongest grounding in objective reality.
As for
the master: upon acceptance of the slave's submission, he becomes
fully responsible for the slave's well-being. If he is a benign
master, he will only give the slave tasks and correction designed to
help him, rather than further debase him. It has to be a
relationship based on true love and humility, not self-interest. The
master should treat their slave as they would their own
child--lifting the slave up, to add to the slaves esteem, rather
than break it down. It's a rare human being who has the developed
psyche to pull that off, which is why healthy submission remains so
rare. In my view, my father was either not up to the task, or for
some sadistic reason singled out Alex for his very special and
extreme mockery and mistreatment. It takes a lot to shock me these
days, but reading this book I was repeatedly shocked by Reichardt's
justifications of my dad's bad behavior. Even if he's cool with it,
I'm ashamed.
Because of his preoccupation with the
(imaginary) spiritual pantheon of the Summit Lighthouse, in my view
Reichardt lacked the self-awareness to evaluate his position. His
narrative proceeds with one foot in the spirit world and he sees
everything through that lens. No matter how bad it got, he held Mark
Prophet as an unimpeachable guru in the spiritual "tradition of the
eastern adepts." But unless you're a true believer and share that
view (placing Mark Prophet in the company of the Dalai Lama), his
story comes off as a caricature. I'm sorry, but you'd never see the
Dalai Lama throwing a tray of food at one of his monks, nor making a
fool of himself by engaging in any other of my dad's far-from-humble
shenanigans. Epic fail in guruland!
It's a pity, because
Alex is a man who really could use a dose of good news after the
merciless pummeling he received from both my parents for most of his
adult life. Instead, he compounded the error by writing a book
turning it around. He recasts the humiliation as a badge of honor.
This unfortunately leaves the entire episode glorified and therefore
more likely to be repeated by other would-be gurus in the future.
To Alex: I know you're a good man and I know you have the
best of intentions. Anytime you want to talk to me about what really
happened, I'm there for you, and I'm truly sorry for the way my
parents treated you. As Peter Arnone said, I know you are capable of
figuring this out if you are so inclined.

Prophet "BlackSun" November 9, 2008
This review by Sean Prophet is really pitiful. The
best that can be said about it, is that it is the most extreme example of
the scrooge-like consciousness that I have ever seen expressed by a living
human being. This is the hallmark of disembodied spirits no doubt. But to
hear this sentiment so accurately channeled into the physical domain,
well, that is really exceptional, in the most upside down sense of the
word. And I say that, because this is Mark Prophet's first born son, and
all Mark Prophet ever gave to him was love and kindness. And this is what
Sean now thinks is just payment?
What a sharp contrast there is
between the soul who once stood upon the mountainside of Divine Reality,
and the one who has been dragged off that mountain by hordes of demons
into the very abyss of their teeth-grinding blindness. For a glimpse of
the real Sean C. Prophet, indeed, the absolute truth about the divine soul
who once had a handle upon the Light, please see:
These dark glasses which Sean Prophet
now wears with such arrogant (and delusional) pride (as if they are
windows into all truth), have become so thick, that he can no longer even
see the glint of the sunlight off the pacific ocean at sunset. The sparkle
of sunlight off the water no longer makes an impression upon his retinas.
The dark greys of contempt and disdain, these are the only things that
occupy his attention now.
This book, "ALL FOR THE LOVE OF GOD", is
filled with examples of how Mark Prophet was kind to Alex, and more. Sure,
life on this planet, has always been a mixed bag. And yes, when steel and
flint come together, you can imagine that there will be sparks. But as the
author's words attest, as to his situation, the good out weighs the bad on
the order of about ten million to one.
And certainly, this has got
to be a new low, equating your own father to a practitioner of
sado-masochism, knowing from experience that nothing Mark Prophet ever did
would ever justify such a comparison. No not ever. What an inky black flow
of slime-like falsehood pours out of your prideful and arrogant mouth. If
Mark Prophet were alive today, he would and could sue you for libel, and
win. Because clearly, the intent to destroy is behind your every word as
clear as day. In this you are engaging in the most cruel form of calumny
and character assassination, and that of your own father. Your own father!
Where is the Sean Christopher Prophet who yet has the capacity to feel
shame at this public dismemberment of the character of his own father?
Where is the remnant of sanity that can report to the soul the presence of
such a raging sickness out of which pours, like so much puss, a black
desire to do damage to a father who has only given you kindness and love?
Where is the Sean Christopher Prophet who has some spine, some courage, to
stand up and say to these sinister forces pouring their garbage through
your heart and mind and mouth, thus far and no farther?
(And as an
after-thought, what level of objectivity, in all truth, could his sisters
still retain, if they do not have the spine to stand up against their
brother's dark-hearted excesses on this very thread? Indeed, why doesn't
Erin stand up and say to the world, "My Father does not deserve to be
abused like this!" Why doesn't Tatiana stand up and say to the world, "My
Father does not deserve to be abused like this!" Why doesn't Moira stand
up and say to the world, "My Father does not deserve to be abused like
this!" What exactly is it, that is holding you back from speaking the
truth in this regard? What does Love mean, if it will not come to the
defense of the integrity of a loved one, even a parent, so dear, who never
gave you anything but love and kindness himself? When you meet your Dad
face to face, as the forces of Love gather to bring this event to you, let
not shame mar the happiness of the occasion. Let this be an opportunity to
take a first step towards healing and resolution, by simply speaking up,
and expressing the truth as you well know it to be. The process by which
the law of your own Divine Being unfolds, requires the championship of
truth. Does your father deserve this kind of abuse? Yes or No. Stand up
and speak the truth as you see it.)
Responding to your comment
(http://www.blacksunjournal.com/books/1483_happiness-in-slavery_2008.html#9),
I would say, that I have given you an expression of total reason, and
total truth. And in that dark shadow of Atheist sympathy into which the
demons have dragged you, under the very warm and comforting armpit of
"Sean Prophet", you are of course shocked and disturbed that someone can
express a reality that is so starkly opposed (by its radiance) to the
shadow world you now call home. Well, come on out of there! You are a
Child of God destined to know the Love of your Heavenly Father and Mother
face to face once again. But you must put your hand in the hand of one who
knows the way back up the mountain of truth and realization. Only the
Ascended Masters, Jesus Christ for one, know the way. Come on now. Surely
there must be something very disturbing about how a person like Sean can
be drawn into such a state of cold-heartedness, that he would try to
dismember the very character of this own father in such a public and
arrogant manner? To feel any amount of sympathy for such an approach is an
indicator to you that you have been dragged into the darkness, and no
longer live in the Light, not even the Light of Common
Sense.
P.S.
Over at the corresponding thread at BSJ,
(http://www.blacksunjournal.com/books/1483_happiness-in-slavery_2008.html#11)
I see that "Sean" has responded to your question. It should not surprise
anyone, that if a heart can be turned so cold against the father who gave
him life, and love, and devotion, so cold that he could be driven to
dismember the character of that father in public, and with relish, lick
the blade clean after every slash, why would he keep the knife of calumny
in its scabbard when it comes to me? He has not. His comments concerning
me are likewise, gross distortions of the truth. I have only endeavored to
call him back to the path that would lead to his total freedom. And I will
continue to do so. The force that speaks through the mouth of Sean Prophet
today, it is the spirit of the astral slave master, a substantial
personage in the False Hierarchy, which has only stinging cups of hatred
to serve up to those who advocate the cause of freedom in the light. Under
the power of the slavemaster's iron chains, the soul of Sean Prophet has
been both buried, and shackled, and no longer has any power to stand up
for what is true. Nevertheless, as the forces of Divine Love gather and
consolidate, his day of freedom draws ever closer. It is not his destiny
to be dragged down to the very bottom of the pit. The shining hand of
great love and great light will yet reach out to him, and he will take
that hand, and be lifted up and away from the boiling caldron of insanity
in which he has become imprisoned, and thereby, to the great consternation
of the entire False Hierarchy, the true Sean Prophet will share in the New
Day of Spiritual Liberty that will sweep this nation, and this
planet.
P.S.S. As to the mention of toenail fungus, "Sean" fails to
mention, that the toenail fungus photo was sent as a reference point in a
healing project. "Sean" is always asking for evidence for the Reality of
God, and so, I made an effort to give him some evidence, showing how the
Love of God can heal a condition of toenail fungus. And as everyone knows,
this is tenacious condition, that once it has a hold, cannot be eradicated
without entering into a very expensive regime of some fairly substantial
drugs. And so, the goal is to show (the Real Sean) how the Love of God can
heal this condition without the use of those drugs. The evidence required
a record of the condition to be healed. And besides, there is a larger
point to be made. The fungus infestation in my toenails is nothing
compared to the fungus infestation in his mind (a metaphor for the choking
growth of doubt), neverthelss, both of which the Love of God our Father
and Mother can heal. When he sees the photo of totally healed toenails,
there will be evidence of the Reality of God, and the Reality of God's
Love. Seeing that evidence with his own eyes, will give the Real Sean
something to hang onto in terms of reality, helping to arrest the tumbling
slide down the mountain and into the abyss. He will see in those healed
toenails, not just an example of the Love of God for me, but the Love of
God our Father for him (i.e. the Real Sean). This healing will not be so
much for me, as it will be for him.
P.S.S.S. Further in "Seans"
response to you,
(http://www.blacksunjournal.com/books/1483_happiness-in-slavery_2008.html#11),
he characterizes my behavior in regards to him and his family as
"stalking". This is certainly a character slam if there ever was one. A
poison dart of calumny to be sure. It is an allegation he knows to be
false, yet he speaks it as if it were true, and thus, this astral creature
which has control of Sean's mouth, can compell that mouth to utter
outright lies. And so it is, that everything which this "Sean" says,
should be analyzed against that backdrop. Of course, the contention that
there is no God is one of the biggest lies in the cosmos. And that lie
flows out of his mouth like hot tar at every opportunity. At any rate, in
regards to the "stalking" allegation, let's be clear, that all objective
and rationale minds must label that allegation as ridiculous. Everything I
have said to him and the members of his family, through emails, and the
regular mail, has been said in the context of their past participation in
the Teachings of the Ascended Masters, and the role they played as leaders
in the CUT/TSL community. The aim of my communications have always been
two-fold. First, to try to help them understand why they should stop
attacking the Organization and the Church which their parents founded and
the Teachings which their parents delivered. Second, to help them to see
the wisdom in returning to the Path of Initiation, and the wisdom in
completing the mission for which they were born into the Messenger's
family in the first place. In regards to Sean, my communications could be
characterized as voluminous, but there is nothing strange about that, in
as much as Sean's attack upon his parents and the Teachings have been
likewise voluminous. This "Sean", i.e. the astral creature that has
control of his emotional body, and his mouth, would like to demean my
efforts to defend the church and the teachings which his parents anchored
in the earth by labeling these efforts as "stalking". But no objective
observer could possibly agree with that characterization. Most objective
observers, when they know the facts, would be far more inclined to agree
with me, that to use the word "stalking" in relationship to my
communication efforts, amounts more to a LIE than anything
else.
P.S.S.S.S. This "Sean", i.e. the astral creature which has
control of his emotional body, and his mouth, speaks another falsehood in
the characterization of why IT banned me from posting comments to the BS
Journal. It was not because of personal attacks. It was because I tried to
make the case for the Reality of God, and I think I could even produce an
email he wrote to me warning me that I was using the word "God" too much,
and I should stop it. But I did not stop it. If my memory serves me
correctly, the straw that broke the camel's back, was my posting of a very
long excerpt from an article (written by someone else and correctly
attributed) that helped to make my case. That is when he actually banned
me, using the excuse that I was trying to take over his blog, and that is
when he began describing me as a "troll". Let the record be clear. This
"Sean", i.e. the astral creature that has control of his emotional body,
and his mouth, would not know the truth if it poked him in the eye. The
Real Sean Prophet, (see: HTTP://WWW.SEANPROPHET.INFO) does however know
the truth, and I imagine that that Sean is growing more and more disgusted
with the things that are flowing out of his mouth. When will the time
come, when he will stand up, and start fighting back, that is the
all-important question. Let's hope it will be sooner, rather than later.
There
is certainly a mountain of Irony in the fact that "Sean Prophet" chose to
title his review "Happiness In Slavery". It is Ironic, because his own
emotional body has become a slave to the dark projections of a Black
Magician (who resides on the astral plane) that follows him around
everywhere he goes, coming to feel that Sean's body has become his own.
Any rationale mind will have to admit that this is the only reasonable
explanation for having fallen so far away from his one-time sense of
Reality in the Light. (For a perspective on the Real Sean, as he was,
before his emotional body was taken over by one or more astral
representatives of the False Hierarchy, see
HTTP://WWW.SEANPROPHET.INFO)
As to the supposed "slavery"
associated with chelaship under the Ascended Masters, that lifestyle only
describes the same kind of determination and discipline that a tightrope
walker must demonstrate as he transverses the high wire stretched from
bank to bank over the raging waters of Niagra Falls. Once one has
determined to set out on this kind of a journey, the fall can be fatal (in
a spiritual sense). As Sean Prophet himself has demonstrated. Is the
tight-rope walker a slave to the need to keep his balance step after step
after step? I suppose you could look at it that way. And when hurricane
winds blow, and there is no possible way for the tight-rope walker to
retain his balance, i.e. as a matter of his own skill and strength, is he
then a "slave" to the need to hold fast to the Master's hand to keep his
upright position on the high-wire? I suppose you could look at it that way
too.
=======================
P.S. To illustrate how these
agents of the False Hierarchy manipulate the emotional body of their
hosts, I would direct the readers attention to this post by "Sean Prophet"
at the BS Journal, titled "Prop. 8 Protest - A Beautiful Sight" in which
the false hierarchy controller expresses the following sentiment right
through the open door of Sean's emotional body, and I quote: "I love the
energy at this anti-Prop. 8 protest in San Diego. This bad law is SO
getting tossed. You can't write discrimination into the state constitution
without a super-majority and for a damn good reason." (see:
http://www.blacksunjournal.com/current-affairs/1496_prop-8-protest-a-beautiful-sight_2008.html)
Make note of the fact that he put the word "love" in italics. That
is how upside-down one's desire nature can be turned under the influence
of the False Hierarchy. He "loves" the energy of rebellion? Who is it that
really "loves" the mass expression of the energy of rebellion? It is
certainly a high operative of the False Hierarchy who now uses Sean
Prophet's emotional body as his own living room.
And as you can
see, the sentiment expressed, tramples all over the truth, and twists it
all out of shape. The truth is, that the Constitution of the State of
California already included an implicit ban against homosexual marriage,
as this was the status quo of the Law when the Constitution was first
adopted back in the 1800's.
Yes, the sentiments of a super majority
of the people, like 99.9%, was embodied in the original California State
Constitution, 1849, and its revision in 1879, that the only kind of
marriage that existed in the universe, was that between one man and one
woman. The wording of the Preamble reflects the existing universe of
thought at the time: "We, the People of the State of California, grateful
to Almighty God for our freedom, in order to secure and perpetuate its
blessings, do establish this Constitution." Homosexuality was universally
held to be a perversion of God's Law, and thus, it would be impossible to
argue, that the people of that day included an implicit right in their
Constitution to provide for homosexual marriage. They obviously did not.
This was the status quo of the legal universe at that time, and to
have changed that status quo, (one which could have NEVER imagined
homosexual marriage), one would have had to amend the existing
Constitution to recognize a newly discovered "right" of homosexuals to
marry. And this would have been fairly easy given the abilility of the
people to amend their Constitution through initiative. But in all the
years since the adoption of the original Constitution, the people of
California have never recognized such a right, and thus, they have never
amended their State Constitution to reflect such a right.
And so,
that "right" did not exist in the Constitution of the State of California
when it was adopted, and it was never added, in subsequent years, to that
Constitution by the people.
It is only through reinterpretation by
a few deluded and intellectually dishonest judges, that this "right" was
(recently) declared part of the California State Constitution. Proposition
8 therefore was not an act to strip a segment of the population of their
rights. They never had those rights. Proposition 8 was an act by the
people of the State of California to reverse the overreaching behavior of
the California Supreme Court which found a "right" where no "right" ever
existed, and thus to restore the integrity of their Constitution to its
original intent. No right ever existed in the California State
Constitution for homosexuals to marry. Proposition 8 simply moves that
fact from a binding legal implication (which the judges ignored), to a
binding legal statement (which the judges cannot ignore).
And yes,
guess who is behind the homosexual rights movement. It is the False
Hierarchy using coercive force against the weak emotional bodies of the
people to rebel against the Law of God and all common sense. Indeed, if
you really want to understand what exactly is the effect of Rock Music on
the temple of the soul, it is this weakening of the emotional body, the
stripping away of all natural defensive mechanisms, whereby the powerful
Anti-God sentiments of the False Hierachy can be injected therein, and the
people, having no discernment, take these feelings as their own.
What
value is a shadow which obscures the truth, and which can become so deep,
that it takes on a life of its own, in terms of the extremes of opacity to
which it aspires, and which, thereby, can totally and effectively hide the
truth from the eyes of the soul? What value is that shadow? Especially the
deep shadows cast across the mind by the agents of the sinister force
operating from their hidden domain on the astral plane?
Take for
example the soul who can appreciate the beauty of the rose, both in
appearance and fragrance, and in terms of its myriad intangible qualities.
In the act of appreciation the consciousness will actually glow with the
Light of God, for the act of appreciating God's Creation, is by definition
an attribute of the Inner Light (which will always extend out from the
center of the heart when respectfully beckoned). And for the moment,
standing in that Light, the soul is beckoned on into the greater light of
truth, which gives, as a matter of intellectual honesty, just credit to
God, and thus, can extend a greater gratitude thereto, for the Beauty that
He has so abundantly laid out before us in the soft folds of the many
petals of the rose.
Consider if you will, the galaxies of atoms
and electrons which work towards this unfathomable display of coordination
and beauty, even from the bud, to the blossom. Let the eyes of your mind
penetrate into the billions of cells which make up each of the petals in
embryo tightly packed in the rose bud. See the billions of cells in each
embryonic petal. And watch how each of the billions of cells grow in
perfect coordination in relationship one to the other to form the perfect
petal. And watch how each of the billions of cells grow in perfect
coordination in relationship to the billions of cells in the other petals,
indeed all of the other petals. And watch this dance of unfathomable
coordination outpicture itself all at once, in the thousands of roses in
this particular field. Who but God our Father and Mother has such a
coordinating capacity coupled with such a wondrous sense of artistry and
beauty?
We truly marvel at the coordination of the master juggler,
who can keep twenty are thirty objects under control over a period of
time. Truly we say WOW! But here we have the true master juggler, who can
control billions of cells, and the countless mega-billions of atoms and
electrons of which they are composed, all to the production of one of the
most beautiful natural and living scuptures that the world knows. The
heart in its natural and unencumbered state says WOW times a
million.
The more clearly we see the wonder of the creation, the
more definite and intense is our gratitude, and thus, the more intense
does the Inner Light expand, revealing in turn, ever more wonders to
behold. And so, I would ask you, what is the value of that shadow which
can, and does hide this very Inner Light from the eyes of the soul?
Given
the sheer magnitude of the desire of God our Father and Mother, for their
children, each one, to personally know, once again, the sheer magnitude of
Their Love for Their Child, for example, Their Child Sean, and Their Child
Becky, given the sheer magnitude of their desire for each child to know
the magnitude of Their Love Personally, and to come into contact once
again with the miraculous healing power always inherent in their love, I
would ask you this question. What is the value of the shadow, that falls
upon the mind, and the feeling world, that obscures this great truth, and
the great quest associated with it? What is the value of that shadow, that
falls upon the mind, and the feeling word, that becomes so deep and opaque
(through the hidden intervention of agents of the false hierarchy on the
astral plane) that the mind of the soul can be twisted so out of shape as
to deny the very Reality of the God who actually Created the Soul (in the
first place) and who constantly sends the energy by which the very heart
is made to beat? What is the value of that shadow?
In the domain of
Spirit and Truth where God our Father and Mother have their core
existence, even as that existence is omnipresent, the psychology of the
child, which is to say, the configuration of the mind and the feeling
world, which is determined by the geometry of the thoughts and feelings
which compose it, determines, just as the physical body would on the earth
plane, when and how the child can visit the Father and the Mother in Their
House, and wherein, will further determine when and how the child can
receive the monumental hug of Love that THEY so much desire to bestow upon
their child. I hug of love, that I assure you, would ignite all the fires
of happiness in the child's heart.
I am drawing the parallel
between what our outer minds are familiar with on the earth plane, to the
principles of movement and contact within the domain of spirt and truth
wherein God our Father and Mother have their perceivable and tangible
existence (even as they are, and their house is, omnipresent).
In
the physical world, we have souls who play the role of father and mother.
Assuming that they are still both in embodiment, we know where they live.
And if we are to visit them, we need to first make that choice. Once the
choice is made, if the father and the mother live close buy, the most we
will need to do is get into our car. We need to start the car, pull out of
the driveway, and navigate the various streets, and to do this in a very
precise and exact manner, to arrive at the right house. For some people,
who parents live many thousands of miles away, it takes more effort to get
to their house. Some might choose to take a train. Some might choose to
take a bus. Some might choose to take an airplane. But however we choose
to get there, will be in a car when we arrive, our own car, one that we
rented, or a taxi. At that point, we need to get out of the car, walk up
to the door, and ring the door bell. When our father and mother open the
door, there they are ready to give us the biggest hug of love imaginable.
If we step quickly into the house, we will receive the hug the sooner.
Though, if we hesitate, nevertheless, the door is open, they will step out
and give us that big hug.
All of these outer activities which are
required in the physical domain to get to our (physical) parents house,
and to receive their hug of love, will have, and do have their
corresponding counterparts in the inner world of spirit and truth where
the soul resides, and wherein the House of the One Father and Mother
exists. In the inner world of spirit and truth, the soul's active choice
in determining the geometry of thought in its own mind, and the geometry
of feeling in its own emotional body, correspond to the various physical
world activities (mentioned above) required to visit our parents. To visit
our Divine Parents, and to put ourselves thereby in a position to receive
the most important hug of love the soul can ever receive, anywhere, and at
anytime, it requires that we choose and we determine to establish the
correct and appropriate configuration of thought and feeling. Just like,
in the above example, when we choose to make the visit, and where we
choose to buy an airline ticket, and where we choose to call the taxi, and
where we choose to get into it when it arrives, and so forth, so too, when
we choose to visit our Divine Parents, the One Father and Mother of all
Creation, we must choose to establish the correct thought structure in the
mind, and the correct feeling structure in the emotional body.
What
kind of vehicle of thought, what kind of vehicle of feeling, allows the
soul to enter into the House of God, and to receive the hug of love which
the Divine Parents, God our Father and Mother, so much desire to bestow?
In esoteric circles, we see ancient symbols pointing to this simple truth,
where wings are shown attached to the mind, or to the heart. The human
mind cannot manufacture such thoughts and feelings. These have to be
presented to the soul by the Ascended Masters. And this begins by
refreshing the soul's memory as to the Glory and Magnitude of Goodness,
Honor, Integrity, Kindness, Compassion, Care, Concern, and Love which
compose the character of the One Father and Mother. In this regard, the
soul needs to KNOW where it is going, exactly and precisely, if it is ever
to arrive there, in the arms of these Loving Divine Parents. These are
very high, beautiful, and powerful perceptions which galvanize the
attention of the soul, which only true Ascended Masters can give. Once the
soul receives one such idea, or thought, or experience --- and in the
domain of Divine Reality, a "thought" is all of this and more --- the soul
then works on the process of assimiliating what it has been shown. For
example, the rubber tires on this soul vehicle (which has sat in the
garage for centuries) have rotted away. The Masters present the soul with
one tire at a time. The soul needs to install each tire. The soul needs to
jack the car up, remove the old tire, and put on the new one. Only then
can the rubber hit the road as it were, and the vehicle move upon the
divine highways once again. (And this metaphor can be fruitfully stretched
to a very large extent when considering all things that become
unfunctional due to the lack of maintenance and neglect.)
When God
our Father and Mother say I AM, they have a very definite idea of what
they are. It is important to understand that they have endowed their
Children with the capacity to see and experience the very same things when
they too say I AM. However, the Children come into the realization of this
total scope of divine reality in a progressive manner, according to the
need presented by life circumstances. According to need, new divine
resources are intended to come to life within the pool of the Divine Soul.
And to bring these resources forth, the Child was endowed with a
corresponding creative power. Thus, like unto God our Father and Mother,
the power to invoke the tangible substance of Divine Reality was given to
their Children in the use of the Word. The Ascended Masters teach the
forgetful children how to use this power once again to draw forth from
LIFE all that is necessary for the rebuilding and the restoring of their
vehicles of thought and feeling to their divine and normal flight status.
In the present state of earthly existence, the soul is shackled,
and its movement is thereby obstructed by the structure of thought and
feeling - within which it has encased itself, by wrong choices (over many
lifetimes).
From within the context of its current predicament, the
process required of the soul to get home, as it were, and to receive
directly, the huge hug of love which the Father and the Mother so much
desire to bestow upon the child, requires the dismantling of the structure
of movement inhibiting chains. Representing this predicament in physical
terms, we might say, that every soul on earth is like unto the Master
Magician Houdini who has shut himself up in a trunk on the living room
floor. Not only did he wrap himself up in many layers of chains before
getting into the trunk, but he had his "assistants" wrap the trunk itself
in many layers of chains, with many powerful locks. And now, if he is
going to visit his mom and dad, before he can even walk out of the house,
and get into his car, and so forth, he must figure out how to free himself
from those chains, and figure out how to get out of that trunk. Something
which Houdini was able to do by the way. And so, once the chains are
removed, then the soul can be taught how to configure its own thoughts and
feelings that will then provide the appropriate vehicle for the soul to
travel to the House of the Divine Father and Mother, to receive the hug
that will ignite all the fires of happiness in the heart of the
child.
The Teachings of the Ascended Masters, which were delivered
by your dad, Mark L. Prophet, were, from the first to the last, designed
to assist the soul in learning how to break free from the chains which
bind spiritual movement, and moreover, to teach the soul once again, how
to configure the structure of thought and feeling within its own temple,
so the soul would be FREE once again to visit the Father and the Mother at
will, and to receive that happiness-igniting hug (from the One God) as
many times throughout the day as they wish, even unto all the days of
eternity.
All of this grinding of teeth by Peter Arnone, and by
"Sean Prophet", indicates the situation in which the soul had entered into
this higher educational process, but ultimately lost the battle for
freedom within the precinct of its own temple, wherein, they have been
persuaded once again, to receive within their psychology these very dark
shadows of denial (projected by the agents of the false hierarchy on the
astral plane) and thereby being pressed by powerful and aggressive
emotional energies to reenter the erroneous belief structure (the chained
trunk on the living-room floor) that these patterns of thought and feeling
represent their own thoughts and feelings. Wrong. This powerful emotional
energy which has the soul denying the very existence of God, this can only
come from an outside source. The soul by itself, could never descend into
a state of such foolishness (on its own power).
For you Becky
Lipinski, the daughter of Mark L. Prophet, the path to "closure" and
resolution with your earthly father, and indeed, even your Heavenly Father
and Mother, is in recognizing the important and revolutionary nature of
the Teaching which your dad brought to the earth, not a product of his own
mind and heart, but a product of the Divine Hearts, and Divine Minds, of
the Ascended Masters who chose your dad to be Their Messenger.
The
goal of these Higher Brothers and Sisters is very well defined, and
precise, and it is to reconcile the soul with the Love of God Their Father
and Mother (period). This is the most beautiful agenda that anyone on
earth could serve, as this alone makes possible the release of untold
waves of happiness and paradise to sweep the planet up into a Golden Age,
and your dad served it wonderfully. Because of the effort and sacrifice
made by your dad, true happiness is within reach of the billions of souls
sojourning on earth, each one God's Precious Child. (No matter how far
they might have fallen into the shadow - a precious child of God, will
always remain a precious child of God - remember, that a child who falls
face down into the mud, the Divine Parent does not lose a full heart's
content of love for that child at the fall, but actually the intensity of
love grows, as the Father and the Mother reach down to pick the child up -
and even as the child swims away, and out of their hand, the intensity of
love grows as the Father and the Mother work the harder to raise the child
back up). When you come to understand, through personal experience, the
value of that Teaching, then you will be in a position to appreciate the
choices made by your dad in regards to the establishment of the Summit
Lighthouse.
Indeed, the word "closure" will not be a part of your
vocabulary. As there will be no desire in your heart to close this golden
book of soul freedom, of which your relationship with Mark L. Prophet is
but the first
chapter.
P.S.
I would say to those who have this propensity to sit there in the shadows
and to click away at the "non-helpful" button, refusing to speak up and
explain yourself, and thus run the danger of exposing to the world the
hollowness of your own thinking, that such behavior is cowardly. The
integrity of such behavior is like standing behind a thick hedge and
poking people with the tip of your sword as they walk by, giving them no
opportunity to see the face of their attacker. If you have an opinion,
have the courage to step up and and state it clearly.
I
will bypass the obvious, Becky, in relationship to the considerable effort
you have made to not answer my question. Upon reflection, you might come
to appreciate more and more how important the question is, and will
remain, even for all time. And then, perhaps, you will become inspired to
come back and give it another try. And in anticipation of that day,
perhaps you might consider buying a good book here on Amazon.com so you
can post your answers directly to this thread. A good place to start would
be this fine book, "All for the Love of God - Life with Mark Prophet, a
Modern-Day Mystic" by Alex Reichardt and Margaret Reichardt. This would be
a good choice for you I think, in terms of a first purchase from Amazon,
in as much as the book is about your father. The moment you order it, I
think you get posting privileges. You don't even have to wait for the book
to arrive.
Now, in regards to this statement, "I don't totally
refute the existence of God, I simply doubt it. There's nothing I'd like
better than to find out that a benevolent creator exists ..." Fair enough.
Let us proceed on this useful line of thought.
The state of doubt
which is so powerful as to block the soul's perception of what Thomas
Jefferson termed the "self-evident" is always projected from the agents of
the sinister force on the astral plane. They have an inroad into the
emotional body and use their power as a lever to pry the attention away
from the contemplation of the Reality of God. This philosphical framework
that you describe, where you hold in some disdain the principle of
absolute evil, as well as the principle of absolute good, has its origin
in the domain of absolute evil. Indeed, look how self-serving it is from
their standpoint. They hide behind it, and at the same time, put your mind
into a state of denial as to the very power that would not just expose
them, but would drive them away. This is a dilemma, from one degree to
another, for every soul on earth, because there is no way for the soul to
protect itself from the influence of the sinister force without the help
of a Higher Power. God, who is the source of absolute good, is also the
source of power that can defeat all influences of the dark side. And
therefore, our Heavenly Father, being totally good, and wanting to put an
end to the suffering of His children under the weighty oppression of this
dilemma, has sent the Ascended Masters our most blessed Brothers and
Sisters who reside in a state of total God-Mastery, into the earth, for
the purpose of placing into the hands of the Children of God, a remedy.
That remedy is the call to Archangel Michael.
Sure, the demons
scoff at it, and that scoffing can be heard out of the mouths of many, as
it registers on the emotional bodies of those who have no protection. And
they believe this massaging of their emotional body, in this configuration
of mockery, is an expression of their own independent identity. But it is
not. It is always a projection, the purpose of which is to bend the mind
of the child away from the use of the very instrument given (by God) for
the freedom of the soul. Make no mistake about it. Even as these astral
entities mock the use of this decree to Archangel Michael, their knees are
literally shaking, and they are terrified, because if you take up the
call, Blue Flame Angels immediately descend to bind these astral
creatures. Indeed, their day is done. And the New Day for you is just
beginning.
Here is the beginning of PROOF positive that a
benevolent creator does exist, who will send the Light of His Heart to
you, via the heart of the Archangel not just to drive the demons away, and
to keep a forcefield of protection around you, as long as you keep making
the call on a daily basis, but who will clearly register the power of his
love upon your soul, which you will experience as that peace that passeth
all understanding, a beautiful paradise presence. You will know it as a
power you have never experienced before in your entire life.
You
give the preamble first. Then each verse followed by the refrain, just
like a song. The name I AM THAT I AM is the name of God given to Moses as
recorded in the book of Exodus. The name I AM actually refers to the
creator of all universes, and all life therein. Yes, the Father and Mother
which created you and me, also created lifewaves without end, sojourning
on billions of planetary homes throughout the farthest regions of the
cosmos. This is one of the great mysteries and magical qualities of the
One God, who can have billions of children, yet can make each one feel
like an only child in terms of the unlimited reserves of love that can be
poured out continuously and personally to every child. The name of
Lanello, as you might know, is the name which your father Mark Prophet is
now known by in the Ascended State. The Holy Christ Self represents the
Divine Identity that you once had full possession of, the parameters of
which are stored in your Causal Body at this very moment, an identity that
God your Father desires to give back to you, completely and totally, which
is really, the definition of finding your way home.
Have courage.
Step forward in the direction of God, the Father and Mother who gave birth
to your soul so very long ago. Whose love for you is still quantified in
the domain of the infinite. They will respond. But remember that the law
of freewill controls. If you want the help of God, and thus the proof of
God's existance, you must ask for it.
(preamble) In The Name of
the Beloved Mightly Victorous Presence of God, I AM in me, my very own
beloved Holy Christ Self, Holy Christ Selves of all Mankind, Beloved
Archangel Michael, beloved Lanello, The entire Spirit of the Great White
Brotherhood and the World Mother, Elemental Life-Fire Air,Water and Earth
I Decree:
1. Lord Micheael, Lord Michael, I Call unto
Thee- Weld Thy Sword Of Blue Flame And Now Cut Me
Free!
Refrain: Blaze God Power, Protection Now into my
world, Thy Banner Of faith Above Me unfurl! Transcendent Blue
Lighting Now Flash Through my Soul, I AM by God's Mercy made Radiant
and Whole!
2. Lord Michael, Lord Michael, I Love thee I
do- With all thy Great Faith My Being Imbue!
3. Lord Michael,
Lord Michael And Legions of Blue- Come Seal Me, Now keep
Me Faithful and True!
Coda: I AM with thy Blue flame Now Full
charged and Blest, I Am now in Michael's Blue Flame Armor Dressed! (
3x)
And in Full Faith I consciously accept this Manifest ,
Manifest, Manifest! ( 3x ) Right here and now with full Power,
Eternally sustained, all Powerfully Active, ever Expanding, And World
infolding until all are wholly ascended in the Light and free! Beloved
I Am, Beloved I Am, Beloved I
Am!
P.S.
To those who have this propensity to sit there in the shadows and to click
away at the "non-helpful" button, refusing to speak up and explain
yourself, indeed, knees knocking with the fear of exposing to the world
the hollowness of your own thinking, I would say to these people that such
behavior is cowardly. The integrity of such behavior is like standing
behind a thick hedge and poking people with the tip of your sword as they
walk by, giving them no opportunity to see the face of their attacker. If
you have an opinion, and have any self-respect to go along with it, have
the courage to step up and and state it clearly.
"Sean
Prophet" says, "I have deleted my recent comments regarding Steven
Showers. They were undignified and beneath what I think belongs in this
forum." This will explain why the links to his comments above no longer
track correctly. And the deletion of those comments change the numbering
of all comments, and thus, the references to Becky's comments do not track
exactly either. But, we will just have to live with that.
"Sean
Prophet" says, "I will no longer talk to or about him on this site." And
then he goes on to speak more than 800 additional words about me. Some of
which includes some of the same points of calumny that were in his
original posts (which he deleted).
"Sean Prophet" says, "If I have
to, I will delete comments that include his name or any reference to him."
Hmmm. That sounds like a definite threat of censorship and thought control
to me. "Sean Prophet" decides what the "truth" is, and everyone must fall
in step with him. This would be a fruitful area of analysis. Indeed, he
rails at his mother and his father for their my-way-or-the-highway
mentality, yet here he is establishing and enforcing the same kind of
policy. Hypocrisy? We get a whiff of it here.
"Sean Prophet" says,
"BSJ was started to be a discussion about ideas, not personalities." Hmmm.
When Frodo and Sam approached the huge swamp that lay before the gates of
Mordor, they testified to a great stink in the air. Here we can smell the
great stink of hypocrisy, powerful, pungent, and nearly overwhelming. He
says the BS Journal is not about personalities. Right. And he says that
after publishing reams of personality attack pieces about his mother and
his own father, and then fans the flame of discussion into a commentary
about the flaws in those personalities. Where he waves in the vultures to
pick at the carcasses.
"Sean Prophet" says, "Mr. Showers has long
ago disqualified himself as a participant or subject of any meaningful
discussion for the following reasons:" Well, let's take a look at the
"reasons".

============================
P.S. I love to debate
"Sean Prophet", it is so easy to blast huge gaping holes in his arguments.
This debate experience gives him the opportunity to actually stand in
those huge holes in the walls of what he believes to be his impentrable
castle of "logic" and "reason". Yes, he gets an opportunity to stand in
the midst of those huge gaping holes, and therein he can feel a sense of
the genuine foolishness of his position, forcing him to face the truth
that his arguments cannot in fact stand direct and forceful scrutiny,
exposing to his face the delusion of perfection which his philopshy
exudes, making him the more angry, and then what does he do? He picks up
his marbles and goes home, trailing clouds of shame. That's why he won't
stand up and debate me face to face anymore. His astral plane controllers
pull his chain, using their anger collar, and he will vanish from the
battlefield, lest the Real Sean Prophet come to appreciate the truth that
I am speaking, and make a move towards freedom.
In retrospect, in
reference to this last statement, I think that perhaps some might
characterize this last thought as a bit of bravado. But no. It is actually
the cold hard truth. Use the statement referenced above as an example.
"BSJ was started to be a discussion about ideas, not personalities." Here
is what "Sean" believes to be a sturdy wall of his castle of logic,
reason, and intellectual integrity. And then we poke him in the ribs, and
say, Hey Sean, look over here. Look at the reams and reams of material
that you have posted attacking the personality of your own mother and
father. And look how you have fostered this pile-on mentality among those
who are looking for an avenue to express their own hatred. Setting up
these two personalities as veritable punching bags for every demon on the
planet, showing us clearly that the BS Journal is primarily about the
destruction of personalities, and very little more. And so, this wall of
his castle, expressed by this idea, "BSJ was started to be a discussion
about ideas, not personalities," is shown to be non-existant. My argument
does not simply blast a hole in this wall. No it has done much more than
that. My argument has exposed the fact that the wall does not even exist.
And from this we can all wonder, how, if this person cannot even properly
characterize his own behavior, in his own realm of daily activity, how he
could ever accurately characterize the behavior of anyone else? And in a
very real manner, speaking about the proverbial house of cards, see how
the whole has already fallen. There is no castle of "logic" or "reason" or
"intellectual integrity". These qualities stand only as figments of his
imagination. On every major point of his thinking, we can show that there
is no castle wall there, none. It has all been torn down by the power of
anger and hatred which the astral hordes pour through his chakras.
Yes, indeed, the process of debate brings this truth out in the
open. So let us continue.
