This earthshaking development wherein the Palestinian
people have just given the terrorist organization Hamas a landslide victory in parliamentary
elections,
has caught many people by surprise, and at first glance, this does not appear to be a positive
development.
But the case can be made that this principle, which I
used
as the title of this blogger entry, which says, that Democracy is the Path to Peace, is a
principle
that has universal application, that there are no exceptions to this rule, not even in this case, and
that
it is truly in play in this development. In other words, the election of Hamas into power in the
Palestinian
Authority, is actually a step towards peace.
To understand why this is so, please consider what are
the
two (2) greatest obstacles to peace which were in place prior to these elections.
First, Yasser Arafat was the primary obstacle to peace.
He has
left the scene of course, perhaps some of you got to wave good-bye at the Court of the Sacred
Fire on
Sirius, but he has left his legacy embedded in the Fatah Party, part of which was a legacy of
corruption.
In this election, the Palestinian people threw the memory of Arafat, and his Fatah Party, and
their
corruption, out of power, removing the first obstacle to peace. This fact validates our principle,
that
Democracy is the Path to Peace, in as much as a free election has removed an obstacle to peace.
Secondly, I believe it a fair to say that Hamas itself was
the second greatest obstacle to peace. They are behind the suicide bombings in Israel. They call
for
the destruction of Israel. They are not in favor of any kind of a two-state solution. Up to this
point,
Israel's response to Hamas has been to use helicopters and fighter aircraft to shoot missiles at the
Hamas leadership. Well, now they certainly will have a larger target. Just kidding. Truly,
whenever
Arafat's Fatah Party made any step in the direction of the peace process, Hamas was right there
to
upset the apple cart with another suicide bombing. Arafat and his Fatah Party could not control
Hamas. And so, Hamas was a very big problem.
But now, Hamas is in power in the Palestinian
Authority. They
did not take power by force of arms. They took power by the ballot box. They were elected by
the people.
They have democratic bonafides, which they have never had before. And they must now get into the
drivers
street, and operate the machinery of state. All of sudden, they have been made respectable by
the vote of
the people. All of sudden they are on center stage. And all of sudden, and this is the key, real
leverage can
come to bear upon them. Real leverage can come to bear upon Hamas, pressuring them to
moderate
their policies and behavior. And thus, the fact that the Palestinian people elected Hamas into
power, has
set the stage for the transformation, or shall we say, the transmutation of what heretofore had
been the
second greatest obstacle to peace.
You hear the levers moving already. America, which
gives a large
part of the money that keeps the Palestinian Authority alive, will not spend a dime in support of
terrorism.
Not a dime. The American people will not stand for it. And the Europeans will follow our lead
in this regard I
believe. And then there is the issue of Israel's 2002 agreement to transfer hundreds of millions
of dollars worth
of Palestinian related tax revenues to the Palestinian Authority. That agreement is certainly in
jeopardy. And so,
just when Hamas is getting into the drivers seat, they face the prospect of state bankruptcy, no
resources to do
anything with, unless they moderate their positions. This is like a child looking forward to
visiting the candy
store for weeks and weeks, and when they finally get to go there, the store shelves are empty.
Without resources,
the government cannot provide services. They cannot pay salaries even. They can't buy the gas
to put into their
government cars. They can't pay the electric bills. They won't be able to buy office supplies for
their parliament.
They cannot do anything to improve the social infrastructure.
And the issue of finances is such an enormously
important issue for
the western powers, because there must a certainty that aid money cannot, and will not go to the
financing of
terrorist activities.
And so, they will be under great pressure to say the
right things
to keep the money flowing. And this pressure is very great, because the magnitude of their
desire for ruling
power is very great. And this is not just a matter of words. They will be under pressure to stop
the suicide
bombings, if they want to keep the money flowing. And actually, in this regard, what we face is
the real
prospect that Hamas sponsored suicide bombings will end. Before the election, this was not
even on the
radar screen. After this surprising election, this is now a possibility, and it is a possibility
because of the
pressure that is now upon them, a pressure that will have a significant impact, because they want
to take
the reigns of power, they want to govern the Palestinian people, and they will want to do this
with the
continued financial support of the United States and Europe, and so forth.
I am not saying that Hamas will fall into line in a
twinkling of
an eye. No, they are a stubborn lot. But, this equation of leverage which they now face, is
potentially
powerful enough to break that stubbornness.
What will they choose to do? This is the all important
question I know.
But at this point, in terms of my thesis, it does not matter, i.e. today. What matters, is that this
election, this
expression of democracy, has forced this choice upon Hamas, which proves that Democracy is
the Path to
Peace. Without democracy, this choice would have never been forced on them. Because of
Democracy, the
choice is now forced upon them.
Now, if Hamas chooses wisely, and moderates its stand,
recognizes
the right of Israel to exist, and stops the suicide bombings, then the financial support from the
United States
and various European nations will continue to flow, and Hamas will have an opportunity to do
some good
for the Palestinian people. And if they are actually able to accomplish constructive things, they
will win the next elections, and that will have a further moderating influence upon them.
If Hamas chooses foolishly, refuses to moderate its
stand, refuses to
recognize the right of Israel to exist, continues with the suicide bombings, then financial
resources will be cut off.
The plight of the Palestinian people will only get far worse than it is today, and this will cut
deeply into the base
of support for Hamas, and they will be thrown out of power in the next election, perhaps
invoking enough
ill-will, that a party with a distinct anti-terror platform might be elected the next time around. In
this scenario,
Hamas will be discredited. They will be seen as the group who were given a chance to lead the
people in a
direction that would produce better lives for all, and that they totally failed. (The principle
related to first
impressions is relevant here. If they will have any future in the Palestinian political sphere, they
must
make a good first impression.)
Even if this worst-case scenario outplays itself, the
principle still holds
true, that Democracy is the Path to Peace, because it will have contributed to the further
discrediting of
the group which currently offers the second greatest obstacle to peace.
If this all-important democratic process is allowed to
continue in the
Palestinian areas, that force-for-change will play a role like unto a glacier upon the political
landscape, producing
in time, that beautiful valley which we will call paradise and prosperity.

For the Record, the Final Senate Judiciary Committee
Vote on the Alito Nomination
The Committee on the Judiciary of the U.S. Senate held
its
final meeting on the Alito nomination yesterday, Tuesday, January 25, 2006. The nomination
was
voted out of committee to the floor of the U.S. Senate by a straight party line vote. All
Democrats
voted against this nomination. And why did they vote against him? Only one reason. There is a
realistic expectation that Justice Alito will not treat Roe v. Wade as the Holy Grail. That is the
only
reason they voted against him.
And so, here we have a good opportunity to compare
and
contrast the vibration of souls who still retain an opportunity for redemption, i.e. those who
voted
to support the Alito nomination, and those souls which are very close to the judgment of the
second
death, those who voted to bar the nomination from going to the Senate floor for further debate
and
an up or down vote.
There are good reasons to conclude that those who hold
such
positons of power, and use that power to further a culture of death, and on a massive scale, and I
would
say that 44 million souls murdered in the womb since 1973 qualifies as death on a massive
scalse, are the
very ones who are the closest to the judgment of the second death.
To be in a position to have an actual
impact on whether millions of unborn children will either live or die, and to cast a vote for the
continuation
of this ongoing holocaust, represents the very apex of rebellion against God. This is different
from
an average citizen who gets caught up in the agenda of a particular political party. The seagull
soaked
in a black layer of oil, while it is accountabile for being in the wrong place at the wrong time,
has
a much different level of responsbility than those who are responsible for the oil spill in the first
place.
For these Senators, their vote in this precise and well
defined instance,
would have an actual impact on whether millions will live or die, and they know it.
When you are in that
position, that fact is presented clearly to the conscience, and the soul must make a choice to be
merciful to those
millions, or to turn their back upon them. And because of the enormous power that these
individuals wield in respect to
the issue of life and death, all the resources of heaven are spent upon them, to make sure that if
there is
anything at all that might change their minds, that point of truth will come to them, and in great
bucket
fulls. All the arguments on behalf of life have come before these eight individuals, these eight
Senators.
There are no further arguments to be made. The entire force of Light that heaven can release
upon a mind
for its illumination in this area, has been released to them, yet they do not recognize the
dominion of the
Light. Therefore, these are rebels to the very core of their being. To the very core. The full
radiance of
heaven, they have turned their backs on.
A Shaft of Light Descends From
Heaven
In fact, the last statement made before the vote was taken,
was a message straight from the heart of the Master Jesus Christ, spoken through the pure heart
of
Senator Coburn. Right before their eyes, a bright shaft of light penetrated down through the
clouds, illuminating the entire landscape for a brief moment, bringing the entire committee room
to a standstill. The entire warp and woof of heavenly truth was contained in that radiant shaft of
light. Yet, did any of these fallen angels blink and eye? No. Click the play button above to
see and hear this timeless statement, one minute, thirty seconds. And it is no coincidence either
that Senator Coburn refers to the "dead" honesty of Senator Feinstein. The fact that Senator
Feinstein was highlighted in the mind of Senator Coburn, as this shaft of light penetrated to
the earth, tells me that here is an individual who had an opportunity to take a step back from the
abyss
of the final judgment, that this was the time and place for her to take become very sober, and
to finally make the right decision, yet she would not. Listen to her say "No" in the next
video clip.
It was St. Stephen, who said, once upon a time, to those
who
hurled many deadly stones in his direction, mostly out of a frenzy of hatred and anger,
"Father, forgive
them, for they know not what they do." In other words, forgive them, because, they
know
not what they do. Here is a situation where this does not apply. There is no frenzy of anger or
hatred
here. There are no emotional storms blocking the vision of these Senators. These Senators
know full
well that they are voting to make sure that the child in the womb will be killed by the millions
into an
indefinite future. They know they have an opportunity to stand against this tide of death with
each vote they cast in these matters. Yet, they refuse to stem the tide. They refuse, stubbornly,
to be a party to a future that will respect the life which only God can give to us.
And yet, this being the case, look at how they can still
exude a mask of humanness and compassion and sympathy, and attract support from the general
population because of it. They are educated. They are sophisticated. All of them are the best
communicators. When they speak, there are many who kneel down in front of them with a
sense of awe. Yet, every one of them is headed for the second death.
Senate Judiciary Committee Members
Vote Yea, or Nay, on the Alito Nomination
Ponder this truth as you watch and listen to this
video clip.
Senator Specter, by the way, is not a friend of the
pro-life cause. He has
stated openly, in this very committee hearing, that Roe v. Wade is embedded in the fabric of our
culture, and
ought not to be changed. And he is crossing his fingers that Judge Alito will see it that way
when he's confronted
with the question of whether to uphold it, or overturn it. That is the view of a fallen angel, i.e.
an individual
whose heart is intractably diverted away from the priorities of God. It is the view that will bring
all abortion
related karma down upon this nation, destroying it utterly. It is the view that will bring total
destruction upon
all the hopes and dreams that God our Father has for the victory of this nation, hopes and dreams
all Ascended
Masters share.
Why is Senator Specter chairman of this all-important
committee? He
shouldn't be. But he is, because he has the seniority. He is the one that hung around long enough
to be next-in-line
for the chairmanship. The pro-life community had a fit when it was announced that he would
take over the chairmanship
from Senator Hatch, who had to step down because the Republicans term limit their committee
chairs. Specter
was allowed into that position only after he gave the necessary assurances that he would not
actively oppose
President Bush's nominations.
In this situation therefore, he is voting in favor of this
nomination only
because he will lose the chairmanship of that committee if he voted to oppose this nomination,
or any of President
Bush's nominees. It is simply a question of power. To retain power, he must toe this particular
line.
But nevertheless, notice how the hearts of pro-life
people will nevertheless
extend to him the elixir of their appreciation and respect. This is how the fallen angels survive
among the Children
of God. When it is said that the price of liberty is eternal vigilance, part of that means that we
must be on guard,
never to extend appreciation to a fallen angel, no matter what they have done that appears to
support an agenda
of virtue or truth. It is always a masquerade for them. And the fact that all of them have
likeable human personalities,
should never persuade us to let down our guard, because for a fallen angel, a likeable human
personality is an obvious
occupational necessity, the more polished and erudite the better.
Of course it is unlawful to extend any amount of
disdain in his direction,
anything less than perfect love. And so, as it has been said many times before, and I would note
again, that life
is full if inexplicable challenges.
May you pass every test. And don't forget to visit the
pearl while you are here.

If
Confirmed to the U.S. Supreme
Court, Will Judge Alito Vote to Overturn Roe v. Wade?
If Confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court, will Judge
Alito Vote to Overturn Roe v. Wade? That is the question upon which
the destiny of America will ultimately turn. I believe the answer to that question is Yes.
While it is true that over the course of three days of hearings, Judge
Alito talked all around the perimeter of the abortion issue, doing so quite deftly, without
expressing his own views on the abortion issue itself, and without actually
addressing the question of whether Roe is good law, or bad law, I believe there is one exchange
between Senator Coburn of Oklahoma, a heartland state, and Judge
Alito, which answers that all important question.
Senator Coburn's statement framed the issue in such a
way, that one could accurately describe it as sheer genius. Judge Alito
is on the record from his opening statement, and many times throughout the hearing, explicitly
stating his firmly held conviction, that the role of the judiciary, and the
role of a judge, is to interpret the law, not in the making of public policy, which is a function
reserved for the legislative branch of government. Senator Coburn's
question was framed in such way, that in answering it, Judge Alito had to observe, and quite
accurately so, that in relationship to the issue in question, the state
legislatures were fulfilling their role as the creators of public policy, while juxtaposed to this, the
U.S. Supreme Court was also playing a role in the creation of public
policy, but creating the opposite public policy. While he did not express a value judgment as to
the value of the public policies, this places him on the record clearly
pointing to the fact the U.S. Supreme Court was involved in the making of public policy.
Taking into account, then, his firmly held conviction in
regards to the distinct roles which the legislative and judicial branches
must play in our form of government, one has to conclude, that to remain intellectually honest,
Judge Alito would have to decide that the Court's decision in Roe v.
Wade was a usurpation of the legislative role, and therefore, was by definition unconstitutional,
i.e representing power exercised outside of our established
constitutional order, and would have to be overturned, and thus, abandoned as a precedent.

about three minutes in length, and then read the transcript of the
exchange below, and see if you don't agree.

Questioning Judge Alito
COBURN: Let me ask you another question. And I want you to be careful how you
answer this, because I think at some time this probably will come before
you, and I'm not trying to get you to pin down.
If I'm driving a car today and I hit a pregnant woman who has a 36-, 37-week fetus, and the
woman survives and the fetus dies, I can be held accountable for the
death of that fetus. And by law we value that as a life -- unborn but a life.
If I say -- I'm the pregnant woman -- I want to terminate that fetus at 37 weeks, there's
nothing in this country today that keeps me from doing that, even though
on one side of the law we say it's a life.
How did we get there to where it's not life or it is a life? Tell me. Can somebody logically
explain that to the American people that how, if I kill it, it was a life, but
if I choose to take it voluntarily, it's not a life?
Can anybody logically explain how we got there and what the consequences going down the
road are going to be for us as a nation when we have laws that send
two different signals about the same individual?
ALITO: Well, let me try to just explain my understanding of where the law rests on
those two questions.
The first is a question of tort law or maybe it's a question of -- well, it's a question of
tort law -- and
decisions are made by state legislatures or maybe, in some instances, it
comes about through the development of common law through the state courts regarding the
scope of state tort law.
And a tort can
be created that applies in the situation of the auto accident you
mentioned, or a legislature may choose to structure the tort law differently.
But that's been a decision that's been left for the state legislatures to decide, and they have
taken a variety of approaches in doing that, I believe.
The second, of course, is the issue of Roe and the cases that follow after it. And those are
based on an interpretation of the Fifth Amendment and the 14th
Amendment of the Constitution, and they are not the result of legislative decisions made at the
state level or at the federal level.
COBURN: Can you rationalize any way of a logical explanation of how that could
be, though? I mean, if you had somebody that wasn't from this world,
and they came in and they said, "Oh yes, if you kill it, it was alive -- if you accidentally kill it, it
was alive; if you choose to kill it, it wasn't."
I'm having trouble getting my mind around that concept that there's any logic there. I just
wondered if you were.
ALITO: Well, the answer is that the tort situation has been
left for its
development under state law. And states have taken a variety of approaches expressing the
values that the legislature believes should be embodied in tort law.
And in the abortion context, of course, states have laws regulating abortion and they are free to
enact whatever statutes they want on the subject as long as they
comply with the Constitution.
ALITO: But we have decisions of the Supreme Court that establish constitutional
requirements in the area. I think that's the explanation. The decisions
are made by different bodies.
The root of the word "tort" is the same as that for "torture".
That is one way to remember what judges and lawyers are talking
about when they talk about "tort" law.
Be that as it may, and alas, if this is not more true that
we would like it to be, even if soon-to-be Justice Alito is given an
opportunity to vote on the constitutionality of Roe v. Wade, his vote will represent one of only
four certain votes to overturn: Chief Justice Roberts, Justice Scalia,
Justice Thomas, and Justice Alito. That is only four votes. There remains five votes to uphold
Roe v. Wade: Justice Stevens, Justice Kennedy, Justice Breyer, Justice
Souter, Justice Ginsburg. To threaten Roe in a substantial manner, President Bush needs one
more Court Appointment between now and 2008. Let us fervently pray
therefore, that Justice John Paul Stevens (appointed by President Ford in 1975) having served on
the Court for more than 30 years now, and who will turn 86 years of
age this April, will see the wisdom of retirement before President Bush leaves office.
For myself, and I know that many incoming souls
would agree with me, the Court's 1973 decision in Roe v. Wade
cannot takes it's rightful place too soon, alongside the likes of Dred Scott v. Sandford and Plessy v. Ferguson, at the top of the judicial trash heap.

Recounting Another Violet Flame Button
Event
This Saturday evening, I went to our local supermarket,
which goes by the name of
Albertson's, to buy some more apples (and other stuff). I was wearing my errand outfit, which
includes a white sweatshirt, which
has a Violet Flame Button pinned to it. It stands out really sharp against the white background.
But I will tell you the truth.
Ninety-Nine point Nine percent (99.9%) of the time no one says anything about it. Sometimes
you see people looking at it.
But that is rare. Most of the time its like it's not even there. And so it's like I forget it's there
myself.
Getting into this particular
checkout aisle, I put my stuff on the conveyor belt, and there is really no waiting here, as the last
customer has been processed, and
the conveyor belt starts moving, and the bagger says, paper or plastic? in between the cashiers
running commentary on the
shiny dog-tag that hangs down on a chain amidst her chest area. I assume she is talking to the
bagger. This is a very young
person, the cashier, the bagger too, neither of them could have been over 17 years old.
But I am not really listening to what she is saying, just
catching a word here, and word
there, and this is the reason I know she is not talking to me, because I have my MP3 player
going, with those earbuds headphones
in my ears, and I am listening to the voice of Kate Crossan. (I never listen to the music that the
store provides). If anybody
was interested, and they asked me, I could have told them what she was saying. Well, I can't
tell you now, because I don't
remember exactly, not right now. But I could have told you then.
And now, I am waiting for her to tell me the total. I
didn't have a lot of stuff, and she
scanned it all pretty fast, at the same time she was talking. And now the cashier is quiet, and
she is looking at me, and asks me if I have a preferred saver's card, and I said, I'm sorry, I forget
to give that to you, being
distracted and all by your story about the dog tag. Well, I did listen, as noted, to bits and pieces
of it. And I handed her my
key ring, which has that little card on it, and I asked her is that a real dog tag? I wasn't so sure
become it was so shiny.
Perhaps she polished it. My own dog tags were only shiny on the day of issue. I said, does that
belong to a real
soldier? And I an noting that the preserved savers card didn't make much of a difference in the
total. And she said it
belonged to a person who used to be in the Navy. O, I said, I was wondering whether it
belonged to a person who serving
in Iraq. And she said, he was part of the March 2003 invasion. And I said, I am glad he came
back alive. And she
nodded, quite soberly, and as I was putting the change into my wallet, I had given her $40.00, in
the form
of two twenties, and stuffing the receipt in there too, thinking I was finished, the bagger said,
right at that point, looking at
my Violet Flame Button, what is the Violet Flame?
Nothing could have been more unexpected.
What is the Violet Flame, I parroted back to her, trying
to find that little
note card in my mind that had the words I was supposed to say, awe yes, here it is, It is the
power by which you are
returned to your divine estate, in your case, as a Daughter of God, and having my wallet open, I
could reach right into
it and pull out the Violet Flame Business Card, and the words came out of my mouth, and I gave
her the card in
one smooth motion. The angels could not have planned it better.

Reincarnation: Or, Come Let Us
Reason Together, Sayeth the Lord.
(I am still working on this post. When I started it, I
thought I would say what
I had to say, and that would be it. I had responded to a reader's comment, sent off that response
to him, and I thought
it was worth sharing with you, and it was my intention to simply transpose it here, but it turned
out, after reading it
through a few times, that the subject area required a bit more depth than what I had given him in
that email response.
Certainly, I made a good initial point. But I discovered that the point I made invoked a very
important question, one that
needed an answer. I am working on answering that question, and have been every day. And it
just gets longer and longer.
What can I say? I like to make diagrams? Oh No, I shouldn't have said that. This is the first
time I have thought about this
in years, that I have this manuscript on this subject that was written back in the 1990's that has a
whole slew of really neat
diagrams. Is it time to resurrect those? I suppose I should at least open the file drawer and look
at them. After all, there
was no such thing as a Flash movie back then. Those diagrams could be scanned and displayed
in a Flash format without
too much trouble. But back to the present, in terms of blogger entries, usually, when this
happens, when I need to post a shorter
entry, like the one above, and I have an earlier entry in progress that cannot be posted, because it
is not yet finished, I will delete
the reference to it entirely. But now, for the sake of historical accuracy, I am going to allow the
initial blogger entry to stand, this
entry, made at this date and time, and I will come back and fill in the text when it is finished. At
this point, I am going to
delete this huge block of text, just below, and paste it back in when it is finished.)

The
Moon is Like a Guardian Angel
The moon is like a guardian angel, without which, life
on earth could not exist.
All guardian angels are assigned by God our Father.
And I think you can understand what is the meaning of all the craters
on the moon. These represent the many rocks which the Children of God have thrown at their
Father, in the person of this guardian angel, over billions of years. St.
Stephen was not the first person the people tried to stone to death. Look at the body of the
moon. Whipped into a frenzy of insanity by the fallen angels, the people
have tried to stone God to death time and time again.
Every time God has said to them, here, let me change
you back into an angel of light, their pride is offended, in the modern
vernacular, they go ballistic, and their hearts become like a vomiting volcano, throwing all kinds
of matter at this villain, who suggests to them that they are not exactly
perfect in their present state. I mean how dare you.
And so God our Father, while remaining present, has
made himself invisible, no longer a direct target for these angry
boulders, leaving only the moon as a punching bag.
Full moons? You want an explanation for that? When
the moon gets the brightest, the Light of God is the most offensive,
and those who love darkness get all riled up. Yes, those that come out of the holes in the ground
when the sun goes down, those who cherish the night, claiming it as
their own exclusive domain, don't want the dead of night taken over. It's that simple. Of course
they can't do anything about it, and they are the more angry because
of it. But for the rest of us, by which I mean everyone but the troglodytes, the full moon is time
for the expression of our greatest appreciation for God. Here we have
the light defeating the darkness. The darkness has no power to turn it back. And in regards to
this great truth, we rejoice the more.
Remember this the next time you are in the midst of the
light of the full moon. There you have the victory of light over
darkness. It is all around you. There is no power in the night that can turn it back.
And so, as it has been said, let us dance upon the
mountains of the moon. A dance born of a new civilization, a more mature
realization, dances of healing, of rapprochement, of reconciliation.
Beautiful ... that was the word she used. The moon is
beautiful. Perfectly round, without an iron core. Look past the
marred surface, past the historical record of anger expressed in her direction, and to her steadfast
vigil for the maintenance and upliftment of life on this planet.

Union
Troops Left the South Too Soon
Expecting the black
populations to stand against the juggernaut of racial hatred, built
up over the course of at least two centuries worth of slavery, without
the assistance of the free populations of America, we clearly
understand now, to have been totally unrealistic. If the
Colfax Massacre of 1873 taught us anything, it taught us that.
A people largely programmed to be subservient, cannot field enough
exceptions to this, i.e. the numbers of people who can
express the quality of individual initiative are not numerous
enough, to have any hope of overcoming the oppressor. Certainly, they were
there, and they served honorably under arms even in the
Civil War on the side of the Union. But this quality of
character, because of the very nature of the culture they were
forced to live in, which suppressed this virtue violently, were
not available in the numbers required to win a victory
over the prevailing attitude of racial hatred that was
still everywhere in the South during the reconstruction
period and beyond (1865-1964).
(I am going to tie these observations into the subject of
the War in Iraq.)
These observations are validated
by the historical fact, that the institutions of racial hatred only began to be
dismantled in the Southern States after the U.S. Supreme Court, in 1955,
overturned its 1896 approval of the "separate but equal" doctrine, setting
the federal government free, at that point, to begin exercising the power of
justice, originally envisioned in the Thirteenth, Fourteenth, and Fifteenth
Amendments, on behalf of citizens of African descent.
Remember, at the time these
Amendments were adopted, 1865, 1868, and 1870 respectively, it was
the judgment of the American people, that citizens of color had no chance
of realizing the benefits of their freedom won during the Civil War, without
the strong arm of the federal government interceding on their behalf. Of
course, decisions of the U.S. Supreme Court, from the early 1870's through
1896 denuded these amendments of any power or significance in
that respect. In other words, the hands of the federal government
were tied by the U.S. Supreme Court for about 85 years. Those
hands were not untied (by the U.S. Supreme Court) until 1955.
After that, but only in response to a
grass roots movement, initiated by Rosa Parks, and led by Dr. Martin Luther
King, did the federal government, operating under the authority of the Civil
Rights Acts of 1964, use the lever of federal power in a comprehensive way
to dismantle the machinery of racial hatred in most of its particulars.
There is a very easy to understand common sense
reason
for all of this in terms of the need for an outside power to intercede on the behalf of those in
chains.
As children grow up, they go through an initial phase of
development wherein the child has no filter to differentiate
between what is wise, and what is foolish, in regards to their parents words and behavior. Or
specifically in regards
to our subject area, as to what is courageous, as compared to that which is cowardly. We need to
remember that
during this phase Father Knows Best. He is the primary authority in the
household. What he says, his values,
and to some extent the Mother, lays the psychological foundation for the child. There is no
escaping this. The child has
no way to discern what is smart, or what is not smart, in this respect. Everything is taken in as if
it were pure gold. They
soak it all in, and build the foundation of their minds and desires, with the blocks and the bricks
and rebar provided by
their parents. In the atmosphere of racial hatred that obtained in the Southern States, where the
colored adult population
was intimidated and terrorized into a condition of submission and subservience, this is what was
used to build the
psychological foundation of the minds of the children. They would observe the behavior of their
parents, and their
words, and it all counseled the wisdom of keeping your head down, not making waves, no
confrontations, if you
wanted to survive.
When the child grows into adulthood, he will have
these chains upon his mind.
Even though his heart, which has a connection to the divine, counsels and inspires action on
behalf of freedom, the chains
on the mind, in most cases, will not allow movement in that direction. A spurt of effort here,
and a spurt of effort there, is
possible. But not any long term effort. A deep foundation of (erroneous) reasoning will knock
down the
idea of freedom in most cases, elevating the factor of survival alone into the position of highest
priority. We do not judge
or criticize people for being in that condition. Their minds were programmed by their parents,
who in turn were terrorized
into submission.
And these chains cannot be overcome by human will
power. This is important to
understand. And history indicates the truth of this. Slavery itself was only overcome by the
efforts of the Union, which
had to spend enormous treasure, and an enormous amount of blood to defeat the institutional
power of slavery at that time.
The slaves themselves had no possibility of ever achieving this. And as the Southern States
continued their oppression of
the colored population over the next 80 years, again, there was simply no possibility that a
requisite number of people with
the courage and initiative could be found to stand up and defeat that oppression. Again, the
minds of the children were
programmed to subservience by their parents.
The only way these chains can be overcome, is by the
intercession of God,
and that is what you see in the genesis of the rebirth of the civil rights movement in the south. It
was led by a minister,
Dr. Martin Luther King, in whom the light of God shone, dissolving the chains upon his own
mind, allowing
him to express the courage of his heart, to stand up, and demand justice for his people. And the
light that shone through him,
dissolving the chains in the minds of many, and they followed him in that new found state of
freedom, not overturning the machinery
of oppression by themselves, because they were too few, they could never prevail alone against
the structures of oppression that had
been built up like a stockade all around them. But by their efforts, they encouraged the whole
nation to come to their aid, and it was
because of that assistance, that the U.S. Congress finally took up its role under the Thirteenth,
Fourteenth, and Fifteenth Amendments,
that the machinery of oppression was finally dismantled.
We see that this same category of folly is being
confused
with good sense, in the situation in Iraq today. People expect
the newly freed people of Iraq to be able to stand up against
the juggernaut of Saddam Hussein's totalitarianism, on their
own, without the help of America. Yet they don't take into
account that under Saddam's rule, all those who had the
natural alacrity to stand up for freedom, were killed by him.
In other words, these people are no longer alive. They do
not exist in the population. They don't take into account
that the population which remains alive, was programmed
to be subservient through terror and fear. In other words, their
minds were programmed with the real-world truth, which Saddam
Hussein created after the image of his hero Joseph Stalin, that
to stand up for freedom is stupid, and dangerous. They don't take
into account that there are not enough people in the population that
are capable, at the moment, of expressing that level of courageous
initiative that would allow them to defeat the forces of tyranny
and oppression which is still in their midst, and who are
determined to take control again. It's not that these people
do not exist at all. It is, that they don't exist in sufficient
numbers at the moment. It will take time to raise up a new
generation of Iraqi's, who will grow up in an atmosphere of
freedom, who will learn to express their love for freedom,
without being hampered by the fear and terror mechanisms
associated with a totalitarian state. Chains of doubt and
fear still hobble the great majority. These are chains on
the mind, which cannot simply be shaken off.
It is really, the Iraqi children of today, that will form the
backbone of a democratic state that can stand on its own
without the need for American support. And that is about
20 years away.
This may come sooner, or it may come later. One
cannot
discount the role that God will play in leveling the playing
field. But in the short term. America itself is the hand of
God, which is leveling the playing field, as the Iraqis form
themselves up, and prepare themselves to carry the fight.
And the sign of Iraqi maturity in this respect will not
be in dispute.
When American forces withdraw, the
Saddamists, in conjunction with the foreign terrorists,
will muster their forces to take an Iraqi city, to bring it
under their control, and thus have a safe haven to conduct
further operations against the New State. And so, this is
the question. Will the Iraqi military be both willing,
and capable, of dislodging them? If they are both willing and
and capable, and they dislodge the terrorists, then we
need to ask this question. Are the Iraqi security
forces capable of holding the city in the long term? If
the answer to either of these questions is no, then you can be
sure that America has left too soon.
And allow me the liberty,
if you will, to make the point, that this act of leaving too soon cannot
be simply shrugged off. We can't say, O well, that's the way it goes.
No, if we leave to soon, we will hand the terrorists the victory they
are looking for. This is a certainty. Yes, one of the few things you
can bet your life on. The consequences of such a defeat of the Iraqi
security forces looms large. Such a defeat would provide a lever to
force a political capitulation on the part of the new Iraqi leadership
which surrenders some power to the insurgency, and thus leads to
an ultimate reversal of the democratic process, and the re-enslavement
of the people under an iron boot of oppression. And of course,
behind the scenes you have the manufacturing facilities being built for
weapons of mass destruction that will be used against the West
in general, and the United States in particular.
And lets be realistic. The
terrorists are not going to make this easy for the new Iraqi security forces.
In the absence of American backup power, the terrorists will move on three
cities at once, to divide and dilute the Iraqi security forces. So, the question is
not whether they can dislodge the terrorists from one city, but from at least
three. And remember, the populations have chains on their minds. There will
not be a movement of the people themselves to stand up in support of their own
security forces. The fear mechanisms will keep them in their houses with
the doors shut.
Union troops left the South too soon. And the African
American population there were left to rot in a freshly
painted prison house of oppression and intimidation and
terror for roughly the next 80 years. Let us learn from
our own history. Let us learn, that to stay the course,
means to make a persistent effort over the long term
to defeat the forces of oppression, to stand strong as
long as that takes, and thus to save millions from
unimaginable levels of suffering.
May you pass every test. And don't forget to visit the
pearl while you are here.

Reincarnation is the Answer to All of This
All of us have had the opportunity to live several
hundred lifetimes. Not just a few, but several hundred. We have all had the
opportunity to play many roles, and to shoulder various responsibilities during those lifetimes.
At any given time, there are many roles to play, and the civilization
advances when everyone is playing their role. All males have served in battlefield conditions
before. And we have all had the opportunity to be wounded or killed in
that respect. In other words, we have all had the opportunity to give our all for the safety of our
families, communities, nations and the world, at one point or another.
The souls that find there way into the military in a given life have those marching orders, as it
were, as part of their divine plan. It is their turn to serve, they desire to
do their part, and life circumstances are configured to make sure they find their way to the front
lines.
Have some of us been drawn into foolish wars in the
past? Unfortunately, this is the history of the human race, fallen from
grace, over the millennia, long forgotten. But the thread of freedom is golden, and it can be seen
winding its way from the dawn of time, to the present hour, and
those
who have fought for the integrity of it, have not given their lives in vain.
Now, the opponents of the current war for the liberation
of Iraq argue that those who have not served on the battlefield have
no right to speak up in favor of this war. They argue that those who do not have family members
in the current war do not have the right to speak up in favor of this
war. They argue that those who have not lost family members in battle, do not have the right to
speak up in favor of this war. All of that is false. All of us, every
one, in one or more past lives have played that role, and born that pain for the good of the whole,
either on the battlefield itself, or as members of a family who have
lost loved ones, or as members of a family called on to care for wounded brothers and sisters.
And when circumstances require that a new generation step forward to
do their part, everyone has the right to speak up in support of their mission, and speak to the
value of that mission, and do everything possible to uphold their honor
and their valor, just as we desired when we served, just as we will all desire when we are called
on to serve again in a subsequent life.
Many of our brothers and sisters, whose inner vision
has been seriously occluded, criticize the patriots in the U.S. Congress
who must make these hard decisions to send our young people to war, for the security of our
nation. They look at them, and say, well you do not have any sons and
daughters in this war. Who are you to send the sons and daughters of other people to war? This
is a framework of total falsehood. All of these men have served in
previous lifetimes. All of these men and women have lost loved ones to the battle for freedom
in previous lifetimes. In this life, they are playing a new role, they are
playing the role of democratically elected representatives on whose shoulders rest this
responsibility to make these hard decisions. In sending our sons and daughters
to fight for the victory of freedom in Iraq, they have made the right decision, not just for the Iraqi
people, but for our own nation. If we were not committed to this
battle for the freedom of the Afghan and Iraqi people, America would have already suffered an
unimaginable destructive blow upon our own soil. Tens of thousands
would lie dead today, if that decision had not been made. Tens of thousands would lie dead
today, if these soldiers had not volunteered to serve. Tens of thousands
would lie dead today, if these soldiers were not willing to bear the brunt of this battle. The value
of that decision, and the value of the ongoing effort to stand for
liberty, has warded off a blow of unimaginable proportions. The value of their service is
awesome.
And the disaster associated with retreat, at this point,
would be tenfold.
In all past lives, when we personally bore the brunt of
the battle ourselves, this is what we wanted. When it was all over, all
we wanted was the freedom to think this simple thought. If we lost a leg, an arm, an eye, or we
lost a son, a friend, a husband, we wanted to be able to look at our
loss, inventory the pain, and to be able to say, truthfully, that we did indeed, pay part of the
enormous price, not the whole price, but part of the price, along with the
contribution of many others, for the freedom of a nation, and for the freedom of the many
generations of people, into the far flung future, who will live in peace in that
nation. Yes, inventory the happiness, over the course of all years to come, produced by the
sacrifice today, and there is no question about it. Everyone will say, that
the sacrifice was justified.
In our situation today, for every solider recovering from
grievous wounds at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and in other
hospitals throughout the nation, truly this is what we owe them. When twenty years have
passed, and they consider the loss of the leg, or the eye, or of the arm, they
truly deserve, they truly deserve, they truly deserve, to be able to say to themselves, that I gave
this arm as a partial payment for the treasure of liberty that the Iraqi
people are enjoying today. They need to be able to say, that I see the treasure. Yes, I see that
treasure, as a golden river, flowing into other nations in the region. It is
fully manifest. I see the radiant aura of happiness and peace replacing the dark sooty smoke of
terror and fear and pain. I see it, and I feel good for them. I feel good
for them. I feel good that I was able to help them have that treasure within their land, even
throughout the entire middle east. I feel good that I paid part of that price.
Yes, it was worth it.
Every person who served in America's War for
Independence, under the command of General George Washington, could say
that then, and can say it now. Every person who served on the side of the Union in the Civil
War, under the leadership of President Abraham Lincoln, could say that
then, and can say that now. Every American who served in World War II, under the command
of General Eisenhower, could say that then, and can say it now. Every
American who served in the Korean War under the command of General MacArthur, could say
that then, and can say it now. We should determine, right now, that
when its all over, that every American who serves in this war, will be able to say that. I feel
good that I was able to help the people of Iraq have that treasure of
freedom within their own land, even throughout the entire middle east. I feel good that I paid
part of the enormous price which was required to make that happen.
Yes, it was worth it.
A soldier with honor consummated is like unto a
granite monument, in the presence of which, the spirits of all people are
lifted up in reverence.
The only way this can come true, for all those who have
made the ultimate sacrifice thus far, is if the American people stand
fast, and in total and unwavering support for the total victory of freedom in both Afghanistan
and Iraq, resolving, within their hearts, to pay whatever price
circumstances will yet require. Let us become like steel in this respect, even in the face of these
additional sacrifices. Let the vision of victory illuminate this land with
hope, and even with the warm satisfaction associated with the brightness of honor itself. And let
it never go out.
And therefore, I adjure you, and I say to you, please, do
not succumb to the spirit of defeatism which pours out of the
mouths of the leadership of the Democrat Party like so much raw sewage, that when swallowed
by the country, would rob from these brave soldiers their very honor,
their peace, their conviction of a sacrifice nobly given.

I Am the pearl of God realization that you wear on your
finger. A man should be able to say that to his twin flame. Though I suppose, that years ago,
this would not have been true, in as much as a pearl takes time to develop, incrementally, as it
has been said before. In this work of art, the diamonds, 12 in number, signify the purity of the
Will of God manifest on each of the twelve lines of the Cosmic Clock; even as indestructible
determination. How else can all the layers of the pearl represent purity and luminosity? It is the
only way.
May you pass every test.
