A message to my friends, from Marsha Covington

The communication I am sending you is one of the most important messages you have received in recent years. It is a letter from David Lewis who, until recently, was the manager of the Keepers of the Flame Fraternity of The Summit Lighthouse. In this letter David is announcing a stupendous new dispensation Lanello, with his beloved twin flame, our Mother, has earned from the cosmic councils. David knows this because he has been visited by Lanello, El Morya, Saint Germain and other masters over the past few months. Just as it happened with me, when the masters approached David, they asked him to write down what they said to him. Thanks to his obedience, we now have the opportunity to know very directly—from another source besides me—what our ascended master gurus have been thinking about the condition of the Great White Brotherhood in the earth, and what they would like to do about it.

As some of you know, I have been explaining in my courses what Saint Germain has said to me about the phenomenon of new messengers coming on the scene. Saint Germain has told me that, in fact, the masters are training many messengers now; that they will not revert back to their use of only one messenger in the future, and that all of us should be preparing ourselves to qualify as messengers or world teachers in order to fulfill our reason for coming to earth. Saint Germain and Sanat Kumara have taught me that when we came here from Venus or Mercury or the Angelic realms, we came to carry the message of another sphere into this earth plane. And so, as El Morya states in his elementary book on the path, Chela on the Path, the masters are looking for those who are willing to become "Messengers of the Gods" to carry on the mission to its fulfillment.

A few years ago Saint Germain told me that I would be meeting the true messengers-in-training and would be asked to help them understand this process. And so many people who have been called to this service have contacted me. Of course there are some who are not working for the actual Great White Brotherhood, and those I don't spend my time with. But I know of over a dozen people from around the United States who are either messengers or messengers-in-training.

So I was not at all surprised to discover that David Lewis had been contacted by the masters to act as an amanuensis for their thoughts. David is one of the most devoted, loving, sweet and humble people I have met in my sojourn through The Summit Lighthouse. He is known by people all over the world as a personal friend. When I heard about David's new assignment, it seemed to me that I could not think of anyone more worthy of this calling.

It is therefore with great joy that I pass on David's letter to Friends of the Ascended Masters in which he explains what the masters have said to him, how much they want to interact regularly with us again, and what they have attempted to do at The Summit Lighthouse to enliven and awaken those at the helm there. His story is both sad and thoroughly exciting. Please take time to read his letter (below) and the documents he has attached that contain many messages from our beloved masters.

Dear Friend of Light,

Blessings in this new cycle of Aquarius.

By now you may have received a letter from the presidents of the Summit Lighthouse about me. First of all, I want to thank them for the opportunity they have given me to come up higher and to receive the ongoing initiation of love and the fiery trial that is now upon me. I consider all tests like these opportunities for self mastery! I am responding from my heart to their letter and I hold no malice toward these two with whom I have worked as recently as June, 2004, nor toward any of the Elders to whom I sent the messages that I have been privileged to receive from the hearts of the ascended masters.

It is true that I have recently communicated with the entire Board of Elders the most exciting news since Mother’s retirement:  Lanello and El Morya have received a new dispensation to work directly with us again, to add their perspective and vision to ours, and to communicate regularly with us as they did when they founded the activity in 1958. I know this because they and Saint Germain have been communicating with me for several months their sincere desire to have a closer walk with us again.

About Me
Many of you who are reading this letter know me as the most recent manager of the Keepers of the Flame Fraternity. For those who don’t, allow me to provide a recap of my life with the ascended masters.

My life has been a life of deep reverence for God from my earliest memories. I am the sixth of ten children and was born in a suburb of Chicago, the heart chakra of the United States. I fondly remember attending the 6:00 am mass at church during Lent in the second grade and giving the rosary with my family at night. When the priest asked our class what we wanted to be when we grew up, I said that I wanted to be a priest. My favorite movie of all time is “Song of Bernadette” about the life of Saint Bernadette. I was an altar boy and had many spiritual experiences beginning at age 12 and then at 14 when I began to study the mystical teachings of karma and reincarnation. I found the teachings of the ascended masters when I was 18 and still in high school and began attending Hilarion’s quarter of Summit University in Santa Barbara on my 19th birthday.

I was privileged to serve on the founding staff of the Minneapolis Teaching Center from 1975 to 1976 and then on the staff of The Summit Lighthouse from the age of twenty for twenty-one years. During my years of service to Mother she personally initiated me into several orders including the Sons and Daughters of Dominion of the Water Element (1976) and the Order of the Good Samaritan (1980s). I have served as a permanent staff member and was chosen by Mother to be an Elder in the Church before this position was a recognized role in Church governance. I left my service on staff after the second round of downsizing at the Royal Teton Ranch in order to build my art business in Livingston to support my family, as the Church closed the school where my son was attending classes, and thus my beautiful wife, Michele, needed to tend to our budding family.

Five years later Rev. Lois Drake asked me to apply for the position of Keepers of the Flame manager, in which capacity I served for one and a half years until this last June, 2004. I served on the management team consisting of 10 staff members and was privy to much of what transpired in the planning for the organization in order to keep it going as a viable outpost for the ascended masters. I’ve served four terms on the Board of St. Mark’s Church in Livingston and was the president of the trustees when we purchased and moved into our new church on May 1, 2002. My entire adult life has been lived in service to the ascended masters. As many of you know, I have three children, own an art gallery in Livingston and have composed and produced six music CDs, including my favorites, Padre Pio, Come and my newest, Journey of Love.

The Masters’ Messages to Me
As you will read in the attachments to this e-mail, in early June of 2004, during a Sunday service at St. Mark’s Church in Livingston, Montana, I had a visitation and spiritual experience with the World Teachers. The next day, as I sat in meditation after concluding my morning rosary and decrees, Jesus came to me and dictated a beautiful message to me. The next day Kuthumi also conveyed a personal message to me. Nearly every day since that time ascended masters whom we in this community love—Lanello, El Morya, Saint Germain, the Great Divine Director and many others—began coming to talk with me during my meditations. To date I have received over 120 messages from the very ascended masters whom we all love and cherish.

One milestone that happened after I had been writing down these messages came in late September when Lanello asked me to receive thirty-three messages in a row for thirty-three days. I wrote down these messages in long hand and later transcribed them. These messages were intended to be read by all of us who have been associated with The Summit Lighthouse, but were particularly directed to the current leadership of the church, for in these messages Lanello revealed that he yearned to once again have a voice within his and Mother’s organization. He instructed me to present his set of messages to the Elders. His hope was that the Elders would recognize his flame and deepest love for them and desire to continue ongoing communications so that he and El Morya—the original founders of The Summit Lighthouse—could once again play a leadership role in steering the ship of the organization.

Therefore at Lanello’s request, on December 15th I did present all of his messages, along with those of a few other masters, to Rev. David Drye for him to present to the Elders. After a few days of contemplation, Rev. Drye decided not to present the materials to the Elders. So, on Solstice 2004, El Morya asked me to send the same package of messages to each Elder electronically. He dictated the following letter to the Elders; it was sent along with the other messages:

Below is the full message from El Morya to the Elders:
“I come again now to anchor a great light in the earth through this one, but also through each and every one of you if you would have me. For I would be where you are day-by-day and hour-by-hour if you would have me. It is time for us to walk and talk with you as has been prophesied, but you must be willing to invoke the light, to hold the light and to maintain your constant vigil of this sacred walk with us if you would truly have that communion of the saints in which we would share. . .

“Some have railed against the leadership of the Church as being the very core of the current problems and the current situation in which you find yourselves. I say that it is not true that they are the core of the problem, but that the problem lies within the collective dweller on the threshold of all, that energy which is unwilling to be released into the flame of an ancient karma and an ancient bond that holds you to matrices of imperfection in the not self. And so, when any of you tie into that unconsciousness and lack of discernment of the reality of God within, you allow entrée of this substance into your world of condemnation and judgment and the vicissitudes that cause a split and a division within your ranks.

“And so, I come to seal up that schism this day in the greater body of God and in those who have contacted the teachings of the Brotherhood through not only theSummitactivity but numerous other activities that we have promoted. I seal this schism because it is time for us to move on, and if those who would lead will not let go of the forces that have continued to be allowed entrée into your midst, then we must move on and begin another movement of light in the earth.

“So I do give the leadership of this activity one fortnight from this day, winter solstice, 2004, to realize the implications of their non-acceptance of the words of Lanello recorded throughDavid Lewis, however imperfectly they were transcribed. For we did commission this communiqué, and if it be rejected outright, then we must begin anew to draw forth fresh new tracks in the sands which will become a permanent focus for us to continue what we endeavored to accomplish through the Summit.

“When those within the top echelons of your leadership do not recognize our voice, it is a sad day for the Brotherhood on earth. And so, we send this particular message to each of the elders this day, and each of you has an opportunity to receive the full package that was presented to Rev. David Drye on December 15th for yourselves, for he did reject outright that presentation given in the true spirit of your Father and founder, Lanello.

“These are not easy days for you or for me, beloved. I have had to step back and observe, almost from the sidelines, what direction those in your leadership have taken in recent years, without the direct intercession of my voice in your midst through your messenger. And I did warn you through her that the Damocles Sword was above your heads and that change needed to be made in order for the movement to survive as a viable outpost for us in the earth.

“The Freedom Flame that Saint Germain would have spread throughout the earth has been held in abeyance because of the lack of mercy on the part of some to allow this transcendent teaching to be forthcoming in a delivery mechanism that takes advantage of the gifts and talents of all of our chelas. And therefore this messenger-in-training did warn many in the leadership that without the empowerment of the Holy Spirit within that leadership, all is for naught. For without the very vehicle for the delivery of our light—the power that Lanello received from on high due to his calling upon the Lord day and night in his youth—you will not see the ongoing work conveyed in the true spirit in which we desire to convey it. And so, some have become almost mechanical in their work and in the structuring of your Blueprint in a way that does not allow for the fullness of the spirit to be fulfilled through ongoing revelation conveyed through those who have the fire fully kindled within to release it unto new generations of lightbearers yet to come. And so, you rely simply on methodology and systems rather than on the full empowerment that is required for the conversion of souls, don’t you see?

“I release my fire to burn through the layers of density that have settled upon the community of God worldwide. This fire does consume a certain miasma, a certain overlay of darkness that has clouded your vision and kept you apart from your true love of the path, that spiritual journey that does require the supreme sacrifice of self in order to give to the greater mission of the Brotherhood in heaven and on earth.

“Thus, it is time for my own to awaken where they are, to again take up the path in a new and more dynamic way and to move forward the ship of my activity, dear hearts. My ship is moving on, with or without you. If you would receive this messenger-in-training, who is a worthy vessel to convey our words, then embrace him and receive the flame of Lanello within your midst thereby. If you would reject him outright because you feel an uncomfortability due to the message that I convey, then allow him to move on and express our words without condemnation and rancor and the resulting karma that you will make in rejecting our very presence in your midst.

“Those of you who stand with us must make your vote heard beforeJanuary 5, 2005via an independent one that we will choose and make known to you through this one. If you respond not in the affirmative, then we will accept your vote as a nay and will discern that you desire to continue the current course of the ship of theSummit, wherever that may lead. I pray that you will commune deeply with me on this matter and make your decision in a spirit of objectivity, for some of you have lost your ability to be objective, and thus you may never recognize us when we come to adjust the course of the ship when it is approaching treacherous waters.

“I seal you in the flame of God-Truth. I AM that flame of the Will of God, for I have taken the hard road, the road less traveled, in many embodiments. And because I did choose to serve God above the state and above the hierarchy that in my day was not aligned with God’s purposes, I did suffer the ultimate fate of mortal death in that life. And yet, I arose again to serve my Lord in a new and more expanded opportunity until I one day rose into the very arms of my God, received into eternal realms of light, where I continue to serve my God unto the dawn of everlasting joy.”

As you know by now, the Elders did not give a positive response to the opportunity for ongoing communications with the masters. But our Gurus were not willing to take “No” for an answer. On December 30, mid-way through the cycle they were given to vote on acceptance or rejection of this opportunity, Lanello sent another message to the Elders giving those who had rejected him the opportunity to recast their votes before January 5 and expressing his love for them. When the votes came in from the Elders, only one of twenty-one Elders had voted to allow the ascended masters to communicate to The Summit Lighthouse through me. Still the masters would not walk away. On January 13 the Elders wrote me a letter indicating their rejection of the masters’ messages. The next day El Morya gave the Elders a third opportunity to recast their votes and accept this new dispensation, giving them until January 20 to respond.

This is El Morya's second message to the Elders:
“I come to dispense with those who are no longer indispensable to me, for they have long ago dispensed with me through their actions to undermine my plan for this activity of TheSummitLighthouse.

“Beloved, it is time! It is time to get on with the true plans that we would deliver to you as a blueprint, a roadmap to victory. For far too long you have been working from the human viewpoint without having that direct communion with me through one who could truly discern our will and convey it to you first-hand. And so, you have implemented strategies and programs that have not worked because they are not empowered by our ray, but by the human momentums that you still carry.

“And so we would have new leadership, a new model and new blood transferred into the very arteries of theSummit. And yet, if the recipient’s blood type not match that that we offer, it will reject that new infusion, however well meaningfully it is conveyed from our realm. And so we must use whom we can and those we use may not be acceptable to some because they awaken the sleeping dweller of compromise with the Will of God.

“Dear ones, allegiance to principle is honored by God more than allegiance to an organization. And allegiance to us and to our promptings is honored above allegiance to systems and procedures when those models accept not the flame of the Holy Spirit resident within even the lowliest of servant chelas . . .

"And so, I will use this, my messenger, as I see fit, for he is worthy to address the full assembly of Elders, and if they would not have him as we have asked, then we will send our message to them via email so they will know the reasons for all that we have asked of him and of you.

“So we turn a new leaf in the pages of the annals of TheSummitLighthouse. Some will remain and some will go. Those who remain true to us will remain true regardless of whether they remain tied to this organization, and those who have never really been true to us will remain so, even if they stay within the organization…

“Beloved, we gave the Elders a timed test on Solstice and nearly all failed that test through fear, through listening to one or a few who to this day have operated from the mind and not the heart and therefore cannot truly know me or any ascended master when we come in the guise of the one sent.

“Therefore I give the Elders one last opportunity to bend the knee to me and my new chosen messenger before I withdraw fully and finally my presence from this activity. These are harsh words, and yet you have been forewarned and forearmed through the Mother both on the outer and on the inner. If you had listened with open hearts you would have been receptive to us when first we came, yet ye would not, and so we come again. This third opportunity is your last, for as you know, each soul is given three opportunities to choose wisely before we withdraw.

“Beloved, we give you until January 20 to respond again to the third party witness as to your stance vis-à-vis this, my messenger. I await your response, for only you shall be accountable for your own answer to me, no one else’s.

“I am El Morya, Chief of theDarjeelingCouncil of the Great White Brotherhood. I await your 'Yea' or 'Nay,' and I dare say that one day you shall know why this day I have come and spoken to you, beloved.”

Sadly, it was on January 19 that the Presidents of The Summit Lighthouse wrote to the field clearly rejecting both me and the masters’ offer to be a vital part of the organization once again.

Lanello’s Message to All Who Have Been Associated With The Summit Lighthouse
The messages that Lanello and other masters dictated to me are challenging to all of us. They admonish us to come up higher. At times they chide the leadership. They remind us of our sacred mission and implore us to take up the path seriously where some of us have left off. Through the entire body of messages is the ever abiding presence of divine love and the spiritual radiation that is the keynote of true ascended master dictations. Most importantly, the messages speak of a new dispensation whereby El Morya and Lanello seek to again work directly through theSummitLighthouse through a new anointed messenger in order to save and expand the organization. They warn of the consequences should the Elders reject this new opportunity. Most important, Morya told them that if reject this opportunity, the masters intend to begin working within a new organization.

The Nature of these Messages
Attached to this letter is the entire package of messages that I presented to the Elders for you to read and discern for yourself the truth and radiation contained therein. In the introduction I explain how this process occurs and state clearly that what I receive is NOT from the psychic or astral plane. There are two reasons I know this: 1) I was privileged to sit at the feet of Mother and the masters from 1974 until she retired in the late 1990’s. I experienced hundreds of live dictations over the last 30 years of my tenure on her staff and as a Keeper of the Flame. 2) Before I will work with any ascended master who comes to me I challenge that master, as Mother taught us to do, in the name of the Christ and Archangel Michael to “show forth your light or be gone!”

I believe that Mark and Mother are still Messengers of the Great White Brotherhood and I personally have remembered many beautiful experiences in the retreats with both Lanello and Mother. They are and will always continue to be my gurus and the true witnesses for the Age of Aquarius. However, the hopes of the Masters to continue on with additional messengers did not come to fruition as planned and Mother retired without passing the torch personally to one whom she had trained.

I know that I was not the Masters’ first choice to take up this calling, but offered myself to help and was chosen (very reluctantly on my part, I might add) to assist them to get their thoughts to their chelas. Please read the words of the Ascended Masters for yourself and glean from your own inner attunement whether these words ring true for you.

How to Receive Ongoing Communiqués from the Masters
Thank you for your willingness to give ear to the ascended masters who are so excited at this moment to have a new dispensation to work with each of us in a more personal way. Their hearts long for this communion and I believe that all of us do also. They so want to be a part again of our lives, to encourage us toward the fulfillment of our personal and collective missions, to chide us again and to show us where we stand and the pitfalls that we might fall into without their guidance.

I leave you with the final message from El Morya and Lanello (see below) given yesterday, June 20, 2005, the final day of the opportunity El Morya extended to the Elders of The Summit Lighthouse. His message is both sad for us who have given our lives for the success of The Summit Lighthouse, and very exciting as we consider a future in which each of us will be challenged and raised up to fulfill the mission we came here to accomplish.

Here is the communication from El Morya and Lanello on January 20:

Beloved Students of the Ascended Masters,

"We come to address you this day in the full mantle of our authority as members of theDarjeelingCouncil of the Great White Brotherhood. We have chosen on this auspicious day of the re-inauguration of your president to inaugurate our own new spiral of light in the earth.

"Those of you who have read of our interactions with the leadership of the outer organization of Church Universal and Triumphant and The Summit Lighthouse in recent weeks through our messages conveyed through our true amanuensis,David Lewis, have witnessed the opportunities that we have offered for the continuing sponsorship of the activity through a new dispensation that we received from the Karmic Board and the Solar Logoi. As you have now noted through a communiqué sent to the membership by the presidents, the leadership has, by conscious choice, rejected our messages as coming from the false hierarchy.

"We, El Morya and Lanello, announce to you the withdrawal of our sponsorship of the outer activity of the Church and theSummitat this time. As announced yesterday by the beloved Great Divine Director, we confirm that the light and the dispensations that have been carried forward through the Summit are now transferred to a new dispensation that we desire all Keepers of the Flame and lightbearers to form, which will be known as “The Hearts Center.” This new activity will be formed of the very fires of your hearts meshed with our own, amplified by the dispensation that we have received on your behalf.

"Many of you have wondered how and when and through whom we will work our work. We say today that we will work it through each of you! As I, Morya, have stated before, it is up to each one to take up the sacred mission and act fervently on our behalf. When you act out of love knowing that the mission is squarely on your shoulders, then all will fall into place as our angels work assiduously with you to form this new movement, truly a movement of love and born of the very heart of God within you, each one.

"We honor each one who has participated wholeheartedly in the mission of theSummitand the Church and those who will continue to do so. However, we will convey ongoing revelation and new dispensations through this new activity so that you will receive up-to-the-minute direction and directives from us, for in this time of trouble we come to comfort, to extol and to lift you up into the arms of grace whereby you will receive those pearls and blessings that always descend when God grants his love and bestows his light through us to each chela who is worthy.

"Fear is the scourge of the day. You must route it from your lexicon, your being and your daily life. Love is the byword of the day. You must incorporate it into every avenue of thought, word and deed. We do not lead by fear but by love, and we expect you to do the same. Avoid the pitfalls of the past and past failures by extolling each one and using all the tools we have already given to build a more worthy vessel for us to use to work with you daily.

"Beloved, be up and doing now in the work that you have before you. Gather together. Commune with the Holy Spirit in your midst. Reserve a chair for us three—Morya, Lanello and the Maha Chohan—at all your meetings and conclaves, for we will be there to overshadow and confirm what you together will create as a master plan for the salvation of many souls in the earth.

"We love you, each one, and seal you in the love fires of the Will of God, which is truly Good! Excelsior! Excelsior! Excelsior!"
