For men submitting to another man, for money, lust or power, there are many

gay circles I never heard anybody using the word page. It just sounds too
tame, too dull.

rises smelling scents. For some these are perfumes or sweet soaps, for others
sweat, sperm, shit, piss, cheese.
Passivism stands for submission and also for the desire to be penetrated
in the mouth or anus. In the works of De Sade a perfect penetration is the
cleaving of the sphincter muscle. No pacifism in such passivism. Penetration
itself doesn`t really belong to the perversions, whether it concerns the
mouth or ass, or is done with a dick, dildo, vibrator, finger or fist. The
Romans knew of anal penetration as a punishment for cowardly soldiers. In
the prisons in the US almost every minute a boy, young man or queer is victim
to often violent rape. To queers outside the prison walls this may sound
exciting, but to be a victim yourself is quite another story. The sexual
abuse of "punks" and "queens" is part of the sexual power games of prisoners
amongst each other who encourage the guards while this adds some color and
excitement to their job. Funny enough this way authorities encourage behaviour
which is punishable in half the US. Logic in matters sexual isn`t one of
the strongest aspects of US authorities though.
Pederasty
Pederasty is Greek for the passion (eros) for a boy (pais). We also
call it boy love, nepio- or pedophilia. In the age of sodomy, roughly between
1000 and 1800 A.D., it also was another word for sodomy mainly indicating
anal sex between men. Greek principles is yet another expression for pederasty.
Some issues ago Mattias Duyves discussed the wondeful and well-informed thesis
of Charles Huppert "Eros Dikaios" in which there`s more about pederasty than
most queers wanna know. The old Greeks knew what to do when it came to boys.
They didn`t have any qualms about the innocence or future of the boys they
had sex with. These boys weren`t that innocent and the sexual acts they were
involved in were in no way traumatic. In modern psycho-babble these old Greeks
would be child rapists. It
looks more like these psycho-babblers themselves are ruining a child`s happiness
by barring its way to sexual pleasures. A funny word is pediophilia or doll
sex. These days there are life-like dolls on the market you can share your
bed with, including holes for sexual contact. Psychologists use comparable
"anatomically correct" dolls to help children confess sexual abuse. We never
hear whether these chilren are stimulated sexually by such dolls. According
to these psychologists this is impossible because to them adults are offenders
and children victims. Unfortunately the world is a bit more complex and some
children are sexually active beings as we will see in the next issue about
pedophilia. The opposite of grandism or the love of horsemen is petitism,
the love of small genitalia. A size-queen prefers big, but the English language
doesn`t have an expression for the lover of "petit". For grandists it must
be strange the old Greeks depicted genitalia that small on their pottery.
There are many possible reasons for this. The simplest one being the old
Greeks simply preferred small cocks and were petitists. Maybe they figured
"Rather a small upper than a big downer", or being true esthetes considered
small more beautiful than big.

is the love of pictures and films. Maybe pornophilia would be a better word.

a boot on their neck. Feet have toes which you can put in all kinds of holes.
The love of feet offers inexhaustible possibilities.
Polyiterophilia is a weird word with an interesting meaning. Some people
climax only after a number of partners. The French writer André Gide knew
this problem well. To him satisfaction meant half a dozen ejaculations in
a row with two or three boys. He wasn`t interested in penetration or mutual
masturbation; for him it was enough to put his hand on the boys` shoulders.
He explained his orgasmic preference as follows. In his youth he`d been forbidden
to masturbate. He dealt with this problem every time by getting a hard on
without cumming. As a grown up he kept to this rhythm but didn`t stop himself
from ejaculating anymore. A more familiar kind in darkrooms and saunas are

being Greek for cold or cool) is a sexual preference for cold or ice. Putting
your dick on an ice cube, having sex while it`s freezing or in a snow storm.
Braving the cold in scanty apparel or totally naked. Once I was walking through
a snowstorm all dressed in satin and to my surprise it felt real good. I
couldn`t figure out what was so erotic about it. I did not repeat the experiment
and haven`t turned into an ice lover. In the sumptuous Bilderteil of Magnus
Hirschfeld`s "Geschlechtskunde" (1930) are several sex dream pictures of
cold fetishists, depicting people in scanty clothes in a chilling wind.
Pygophilia is the love of buttocks. Once I stuck a burning candle in the
bum of a friend of mine. His gorgeous round buns glowed in even greater beauty.
Jean-Luc Hennig wrote a "Brève historie des fesses" (1995), translated that
same year as "The Rear View. A Brief and Elegant History of Bottoms Through
the Ages". Only one chapter though is devoted to the male behind. The most
well known but certainly not the most beautiful one is made of stone: the
behind of Michelangelo`s David in Florence. For many a queer this is thé
place for a buns love pilgrimage. Complete schools are gathering around David

Change the g of the last perversion into an r and you`ve got pyrophilia,
the reverse of psychrocism, the love of fire. At times it concerns pyromaniacs
turned on by fires. Notorious example was the Roman emperor Nero who got
all excited by Christians dying in the fire. Some people do it to themselves
and get turned on by the singeing of their skin or hair. Branding is one
step further. The natural kind is the love for the fire of passion - but
no one of sound mind will call that pyrophilia.
