To Whom it May Concern:
I would like to take this opportunity to update the
membership of our Ascended Master organization. I feel like I am becoming a lot like John the
Baptist - a voice crying in the wilderness. So, get yourself comfortable because I have my
usual assortment of things to say and I am sure that you'll find the following rather interesting.
Some people would consider me an insider as I am
president of a teaching center as well as president of the Church of Canada. But our Church is a
peculiar Church. Even Elders are not insiders. No, we are a tightly
controlled organization that is on the fast track to nowhere. Rules and regulations
abound everywhere. Our God has a name and it is Legalities. It is kind o flike we've become a
secret society where only those at the very top know why things are done the way they are done.
Sometimes it seems like we are in a Kafka novel where nothing makes
sense.
All the right things were said on World Vision Day.
We have a real good bunch of people in our organization. We've caught the spirit of the new
winds of Aquarius. As Dannion Brinkley said, "We can out love and
out serve anybody on the planet.["] There is only one problem.
The leadership does not have the vision to make this a reality.
Our leaders are a bunch of control freaks. Out
government model as clearly denoted in our articles and bylaws makes us up to be a theocracy.
This is the model Mother brought forth because we had a Messenger who had direct contact
with the Masters. However, in 1994 when the Summit Lighthouse entered the 12 o'clock line
of a new cycle (our 4th), a new model came forth preparing the way for like in a post-Mother
environment. This had the total backing of Mother and the Ascended Masters as clearly
indicated in some of their dictations. Jesus said that we had little hope
of enduring much beyond the year 2000 without a major change in the way we operate.
Under the guidance of Gilbert Cleirbaut we ventured
into new territory a major paradigm shift. From August 1994-August 1997, the etheric
blueprint came forth. The power thrust of the first year under Capricorn soon gave way to the
alchemy of Aquarius whereby it soon became evident how monumental these changes actually
would have to be. The doubts, fears, and human questioning under Pisces resulted in many
people yearning for the old ways that they had become accustomed to under the Piscean
dispensation.
August 1997 began our journey through the mental
quadrant. The big question now was power [which] individuals were going to control the
destiny of our organization especially with Mother moving to the sidelines. Under Aries initiations we always have the choice between identifying and
becoming our human self or our divine Self. Those that thought they knew better
(having chosen the human ego) conspired to work against Gilbert and his paradigm shift. This
manifested under Taurus as being totally out of alignment with our divine plan as clearly
outlined in Mother's lecture about her and Gilbert entitled, "We are a Team!" The new
governance model for the Aqaurian cycle of our movement that Gilbert was hoping to have
fully in place during our Gemini year was completely and utterly aborted. Having been backstabbed and abandoned Gilbert could do little else
but resign.
Because of the rejection of Gilbert's vision we have
moved into the Omega side of the cycle with much of the membership in confusion and chaos.
Without vision the people perish. Clearly our present governance model is not only
unworkable but it's pathetic. How can you have a theocratic
model without the prophet? When I came into the teachings the
highest ranking person after Mother was Monroe Shearer. Since I don't have anything nice to
say about him I won't say anything. Suffice to say that under our present set-up which
is so top-down that the wrong person such as Monroe as president would be devastating to our
movement.
We are still searching for a new governance model.
People are talking about 3-5 years to implement this. That is
ridiculous because the models are already there whether Gibert's or the Wallaces'.
Of course, our present leadership doesn't like these models because
they attempt to empower the rest of us. God forbid that we have any say in the running
of our Church. Sure we can offer our ideas and inputs but we have no power. Our leadership
wants to hold on to the status quo as much as possible. And what is this status quo? What our
leadership doesn't realize is that we have not returned to the old paradigm because that can
never exist again without Mother. We have moved into uncharted waters. Our Board of
Directors is not accountable to anyone above or below. This is totally unacceptable. The
status quo we now have is simply this. We have self-appointed ministers with no business
training running things in a very secretive way.
To show you how secretive our leadership is check this
out. At the Easter conference in Chicago, Sidney Bennett announced the search for a new
president. It was his hope that someone within the organization has been especially prepared
through many lifetimes to be able to take on such a position. Well, I can't speak for anyone
else but knowing that I have served at the top levels of government many times including
recent stints as Minister of Finance and Prime Minister I decided to offer myself as a candidate
for the position of president. I also have a very good educational background in this lifetime
having specialized in economics as well as having a graduate degree in a program that
combined political science and law. Now it is my hope that the next president would have
these kinds of qualifications and I would think that there are a number of others so qualified.
But I have no idea who else is running for president because that information was withheld
from me. They wouldn't even tell me how many people were in the running.
[Editor's note: The reason is
fairly obvious. The minute Arie found out who his "opponents" were, he would instantly begin
the process of trashing their characters, as the following paragraphs illustrate.]
What I do know is that Neroli Duffy and Kate Gordon
are both running. All I can say is that if either or both of these two are appointed to this office
again then this entire process has been a farce. These two are fine individuals but they are totally incompetent to hold
this office. This is not a game. There is so much at stake here including the future of
an entire planet. We are meant to be the forerunners in the bringing forth of a golden age.
These two have already thwarted much of this from happening by their
lack of vision and wisdom when it comes to understanding what the Aquarian age is supposed
to be. If they continue their present course and stop the divine plan from coming forth
again by their adherance to a model that is outmoded with the few controlling the many and the
philosophy that these few know better than everyone else then I am afraid that they are likely to
have to reembody for another 10,000 years until the get the chance to correct the mistakes they
are making now. Like I said this is not a game. The president of our organization is holding
the most important position in this world whether they know it or not. The responsibilities are
enormous.
Let me come at this from another angle. If I were
president I wouldn't be able to fly off to Russia or Fatima like Kate and Neroli do knowing that
others in our mandala are bereft because they can't fulfill their calling. How can I go off and
do my own thing when others under me can't do theirs? How can I be smiling if I haven't done
everything possible to help others be who they are supposed to be? How can I be smiling when
children in our own community don't want to have anything to do with us? How can I possibly
feel that I am doing a good job when someone like Nancy McNabb resigns because I have let
our own children down? How can I be happy with myself when our senior citizens are allowed
to wilt away without tapping into their experience and wisdom in not only the running of our
church but in their getting involved with our children in so many ways?
To be a church of love and compassion our leaders
must support, encourage, and inspire others to bring forth their gifts and talents and not the
other way around. Instead of just a few going out with the teachings of the Ascended Masters
there should be hundreds out there doing this. We've got everything backwards. People should
be empowered not held back. And anyway, there are probably hundreds who would be better or
at least just as good at giving out these teachings as Neroli and Kate. The point is that we need
an organization that supports and looks after its members. Even those that just graduated from
the 3-year ministerial program but did not "make it" as lay ministers are very upset. They
sacrificed so much and now have no idea what criteria were used to evaluate who made it and
who did not. This is love? Our leaders can't even do simple things. Is
it so hard to be straightforward, objective, and clear with our own most devoted
members?
It is hard for me to relate to Kate or Neroli thinking
they did such a good job that they should continue. Think about this. When Sidney Bennett
came to Montreal I have him a hard time over how he was going to use the funds from the sale
of the North Ranch. His answer helped me understand his position. He said that the Church
has never made a profit on any of its ventures. To me this is astounding. With all our
resources and talented people how can this be so. The next president must have some business
background. Kate and Neroli are in way over their heads. It's bad enough they they don't get it
when it comes to the need for a paradigm shift but they are living in a fairyland when it comes
to self-assesment. I want to stress that I am talking about them as presidents. They probably
are much better ministers than I would ever be but as heads of a large organization there just is
no comparison.
Perhaps the best example of
their incompetance is the sword policy/Andrew Blumenschein affair. This should have
been a minor internal problem that should have been resolved quickly and respectfully if
properly handled. Instead, it almost brought our whole church down. Furthermore, after giving
Andrew a 6-month discipline they desided to make it permanent. This is punishment and
revenge. A real leader wants to help people get back on their feet, to do what they can to bring
healing and hope. Andrew doesn't even know why they are shutting him out. No, Kate and
Neroli want us to support them when they should be supporting us.
We should be the Divine Mother. We had the greatest
example of that in our own Elizabeth Clare Prophet. Do our leaders go out of their way to help
those supposedly poor souls amongst us who have lost their way? From what I have been able to observe from my vantage point both Neroli
and Kate are sorely lacking in almost every quality needed for such a position. Vision
and business acumen are virtually non-existent. The manner in which they deal with
employees is callous and mindless. Perhaps the most damaging thing they have down [sic] has
to do with their non-support of Gilbert Cleirbaut. It is one thing to be glad to see him go, it's
quite another to hide the truth of this messy business especially by giving us the impression
that the direction of the church had not changed when it had indeed. This is duplicity, a nine o'clock manifestation of the 3 o'clock
perversion of control through conceit, deceit, and human arrogance.
At the conference Dannion Brinkley said that we should support the leadership and this is
definitely true. But we must also not stand idly by while they fiddle and paint the barn while
the world is burning. I believe that our Board of Directors would do better if they knew better.
The things they are good at are those things that we did in the previous three 12-year cycles
such as publishing and safeguarding the teachings. It is up to us to give them the higher vision
that is absolutely essential in our present cycle. They certainly are not
going to get it from Neroli who according to rumors already has the post of president locked
up.
We also heard from those who were around when
Mark was alive. They reminisced about the good old days when we had rules of conduct,
obedience to hierarchy, and a guru to correct and instruct us. But those days are over. The
Masters and Mother made it very clear that we had to change and that Gilbert Cleirbaut was the
man to implement those changes. Being new to the teachings he did not have a good
understanding of the guru-chela relationship and certainly made some mistakes but he clearly
had the vision of where we had to go. We have to pick up the pieces where he left off. We
have to find a way to bring unity and harmony back to an organization that has truly lost its
way. We have to somehow make our leaders aware that only a paradigm shift can save us from
the same fate that has befallen all other groups who came before us. We have already lost may of our best people through a tragic mindset that
destroys those that dare to be real.
Finally, I'd like to make some comments concerning
where we stand on the 14 Stations of the Cross. Our Church has recently begun our 3rd cycle of
this cross. This means that these next 14 years come under the hierarchy of Pisces where
Mother and her seed fall the 1st time. This is from the weight of world karma. Pisces also has
to do with death and the death consciousness. What this means is that we in a life and death
struggle whether we as a church will even survive intact. Other organizations that the Masters
have sponsored have not been able to last very long. The only way we will be able to succeed
where others have failed is by empowering our members so that we will not be left to the mercy
of those who interfere with us truly becoming a community of the Holy Spirit because of the
love and respect we have for each other. On June 27, 2001 we entered the 1 o'clock line of this
14 year Piscean cycle where we must bear the hatred of Saint Germain and all that is anti-love
that opposes the Divine Mother. Certainly we have the love to
succeed. All we need is direction.
