In response to the recent publication of "Duty, Honor, Country: the Case for Ousting Saddam Hussein," several people (whom I take to be members of the Summit Lighthouse / Church Universal and Triumphant community) have written back to me expressing a considerable amount of dislike for, and mistrust of, President George W. Bush. The level of emotional intensity associated with their negative comments has been quite surprising to me. And what was the more surprising, was that a high level of emotional intensity was being directed at President Bush from both ends of the political spectrum.

     In as much as the Ascended Master goal for this community is to have all its members gathered together in one accord, there appears, in this situation, to be a need to bring forth a matrix of understanding that will allow for the harmonization of those on the left, which oppose George W. Bush, and those on the right, which oppose George W. Bush, with the broad middle which supports him in the noble effort to set the nation of Iraq, and the people of Iraq, free from Saddam Hussein's shroud of tyranny.

     In this article I will look at the left's opposition to George W. Bush as it manifests within our community, and then I will look at the right's opposition to George W. Bush as it manifests within our community. From this analysis, I believe I will be able to show conclusively, that neither source of opposition, from the left, or the right, is based on truth, but in both cases, it is based instead on a pre-existing partisan allegiance, or shall we say an obsession, with a very narrow agenda which is not founded upon a clear recognition of Ascended Master priorities. Using this as a backdrop, I will then endeavor to show that there exists within the character of George W. Bush, several veins of genuine gold, which when taken together, represents sufficient evidence that this man is a Lightbearer, and worthy of our prayers, and our support, especially in his effort to lead us forward in the noble pursuit of freedom and justice in Iraq.

     Now, when it comes to the American culture in general, opposition to President George W. Bush from the left end of the political spectrum, is quite understandable and expected. Their dislike and mistrust has its roots in a fundamental disagreement over a wide range of policies which pre-existed the issue of Iraq. In this regard, President Bush opposes practically everything they hold dear.

     They support abortion rights. GWB is pro-life. The Left doesn't want anyone appointed to the federal judiciary who is not clearly on the record in support of abortion rights. But, every Bush nominee for the federal judiciary has so far been Pro-Life. The Left supports gay rights, in terms of special legislation to safeguard the homosexual lifestyle. GWB does not. They want to see same-sex marriages adopted in every state in the Union. He does not. They want the old programs of affirmative action to stay in place. He believes that they can be gradually dismantled. They want to see more government spending. GWB wants to see less. To the Left, tax cuts represent nearly the apex of social irresponsibility. He has exactly the opposite view. They oppose any fundamental change in the social security system. He supports the idea of privatizing social security. They vehemently oppose the idea of school vouchers. He enthusiastically supports the idea. They simply lust after a nationalized health care system. And that's the last thing that GWB would ever support. Their approach to protecting the environment minimizes the importance of the impact on economic interests. Bush insists on taking into account the economic impact of any proposed environmental protection measure. To them, corporate America represents a veritable satanic cult cram-packed and overflowing with the demons of greed. To Bush, corporate America represents the backbone of the American economy. And the list goes on.

     To them, George W. Bush was public enemy #1 long before Saddam Hussein ever appeared on their radar screens. And when circumstances forced Saddam Hussein onto their radar screens as well, they quickly discovered that there wasn't enough room on it for two enemies. So the person they love to hate the most stays on their radar screen. And Saddam Hussein gets a pass.

      Now, as I noted above, all of this is not any news to anyone who pays attention to what is going on politically in the United States. The left and the right have been at each others throats over fundamental disagreements on important issues for decades. What is surprising from my standpoint, is that there is evidence of this within the Summit Lighthouse, and Church Universal and Triumphant community. In other words, I wouldn't have thought there was such a thing as a left-wing peace camp in the Ascended Master community. I say this because the left-wing peace camp represents the far left fringe of the Democratic Party. These people have always been, as a general rule, militantly Pro-Abortion. And I would think that the Teachings of the Ascended Masters on abortion would not allow them to resonate with the people in this community at all. But there it is. I suppose you could say that with God — who loves those on the left, as much as he loves those on the right — all things are possible. Apparently, they have been able to jettison their allegiance to the pro-abortion cause, through the power of the Holy Spirit, while bringing along the rest of their issue sympathies and antipathies nearly intact, including their visceral dislike for and mistrust of George W. Bush.

     In regards to the right end of the political spectrum, because of the nature of the Teachings of the Ascended Masters, and their pronouncements on various political and social issues, chief among these being their unequivocal stand against legal abortion, their support for the return of prayer to the public schools, their unequivocal opposition to Socialism, Communism, and the general idea of a one-world-government, their advocacy of a strong national defense, and their passionate support of the free-enterprise system along with low taxes, it is far more predictable to find people of uniform right leaning viewpoints within this community, than it is to find people of left-leaning viewpoints. And therefore, given this premise, one might expect to find within this community, among those who entered into the teachings with right-leaning viewpoints, a uniform appreciation of President George W. Bush for his stand on so many conservative oriented issues. I think that this is generally the case, but, as I noted above, I have found that there are some surprising exceptions to this general rule.

     Those exceptions, in regards to those who entered this community with right leaning viewpoints, who yet exhibit a very strong dislike and mistrust for President George W. Bush, are those who entered into our community from the right-oriented conspiracy theory wing of the Republican, Conservative, Libertarian, or other generally like minded political parties. Within their world view, certain individuals are always working behind the scenes pulling the levers and throwing the switches which inexorably advance the "new world order" agenda, which allegedly has the goal of controlling the daily lives of every person on earth.

     Now, this national club of conspiracy theory afficionados, having been given a tremendous boost in nation wide membership with the advent of email, and Internet newsgroups and mailing lists, exists, by and large, proud, independent, and apart from the Teachings of the Ascended Masters. This is a very important point.

     What I mean to say is, that for the vast majority of this group, their attention is not focused on the issue of individual spiritual evolution, but rather, they are obsessed with exposing and defeating an enemy that exists outside of themselves (which is essentially a scapegoat consciousness).

      Therefore, in the same manner that 90% of the pro-abortion left-wing peace camp can't find any substantial point of resonance between their personal spiritual belief systems and the Teachings of the Ascended Masters, so too can the same thing be said of the conspiracy theory camp of the political right wing, the great majority being strongly polarized against Ascended Master Truth. What this means is that the great majority of the belief systems of both of these fringe groups have to be based on human error. I hope you can follow my logic on this point, because it's very important.

     If they are generally polarized against Ascended Master Truth, having close to zero interest in bending the knee before the Path of Initiation set before them by the Heavenly Hierarchy (which is designed to lead them back into the loving embrace of our Father/Mother God in the here and now), and therefore having zero interest in jettisoning their allegiance to their past momentums of hatred, then you can conclude with a reasonably amount of certainty that their minds are largely surfeited in darkness and error, much of it amplified by fear into the regions of irrationality and paranoia. This means that most of the thoughts they entertain regarding this or that conspiracy theory, while the belief system may be based on a variety of half-truths, cannot possibly reflect the quality of truth generally. Now, I would remind the reader, that these observations are not directed at members of our community, but at the general membership of the conspiracy theory camp which resides largely outside of any allegiance to Ascended Master Truth.

     Now, when the Ascended Masters succeed in attracting some of the higher minded members of these fringe groups into the Teachings, it is important to understand that the erroneous parts of their pre-existing belief systems are brought along with them. And what is more, they will continuously dip back into the polluted pot of the conspiracy camp on a regular basis, holding up as truth, the irrational and paranoiac meanderings of individuals who have never submitted their minds to the cleansing power of the Violet Flame.

     Essentially, what this means, is that the farther out on the fringe of political beliefs a person is, when he or she enters the Teachings of the Ascended Masters, that they will initially find more points of conflict between the Teaching, and their pre-existing belief systems, than would be the case with the average student. In the process of assimilating the Teaching, these errors are supposed to be gradually and systematically broken down upon the Rock of Christ Truth. In this respect, the Teaching does not budge. Either they relinquish what is not in alignment with the Teaching, or this baggage of error to which they cling, operating like unto a huge magnet which must attract like qualities and circumstances, will and must carry them ultimately out of and away from the Community of the Holy Spirit.

     It is interesting to note in this regard, that those who are attracted into the Teachings of the Ascended Masters from the left side of the political spectrum, have an easier time seeing what parts of their pre-existing belief systems are out of alignment with the Teaching. The issue of abortion is a good example. There is nothing at all in the Teaching that would encourage them to hold onto their pre-existing momentum of pro- abortion thoughts, feelings and activities. They can see clearly that the Masters believe that abortion must be made illegal, and they either make their peace with that fact, or they will never feel like they are genuine members of this community. And the false hierarchy will use their discontent in this regard to pull them away into alliances, outside of the community, with which they feel more comfortable, and which will gradually draw and pull them away from the Path of Initiation entirely.

     But for those who have entered this community from the right leaning camp of conspiracy theory afficionados, they will have a more difficult time dividing the real from the unreal in terms of their pre-existing belief systems. This is because there exists a powerful two-fold nexus between their pre-conceived notions in this regard, and some very fundamental teachings of the Ascended Masters.

     This two-fold nexus consists on the one hand, of the teaching on fallen angels, and on the other, the Teaching on one world government. In regards to the Teaching on fallen angels, conspiracy theory afficionados have something solid into which they can anchor their pre-existing belief that there are people working behind the scenes intent on controlling the lives of every person on earth. We have to admit that the Ascended Masters teach us that the fallen angels are doing exactly that. In regards to the Teaching on one-world-government, conspiracy theory afficionados have something solid into which they can anchor their pre-existing belief that the United Nations, and more recently, the "new world order", is a conspiracy to rob the United States of her sovereignty. Again, we have to admit that the Ascended Masters teach that the one-world-government envisioned by the fallen angels, does in fact have the goal of robbing the United States of her national sovereignty, along with that of every other nation.

     The dilemma that is faced by the conspiracy theory afficionados who have been attracted to the Teachings of the Ascended Masters, is that their pre-existing beliefs, are not just patterns of thought carried in the mental body, but they consist also of patterns of negative emotions carried in the emotional body as well. These negative emotions can be classified more or less as human hatred. We could say alternatively, that they represent very intense dislike. But that is a distinction without a difference. Human hatred and intense dislike, have exactly the same vibration. And they have exactly the same debilitating impact on the facility of spiritual vision, i.e. the vision associated with the third eye chakra.

     What I am trying to get at here, is that in the Teachings of the Ascended Masters, they find a home for substantial parts of their pre-existing belief systems. But the mental interlocking that they experience with the Teaching in terms of the common ideological structures, serves as a mask which covers over the hatred (or feelings of intense dislike) which are associated with their pre-existing beliefs. In this regard, they haven't figured out how to divide the real from the unreal as it relates to these nexus points. In other words, they come into the Teaching with a human momentum of hating (or intensely disliking) those who are involved in conspiracies against America. When they find out about the fallen angels, and teaching on the one world government, they have a target defined by the Ascended Masters to which they can direct their hate (or intense dislike).

     But they haven't come to terms with the fact, that regardless of these points of ideological commonality between their previous existing belief systems, and the Teachings of the Ascended Masters, to make progress on the Path of Initiation, they have got to give up their hatred. And this they have not, by an large, accomplished.

     And because they have not accomplished this all important step, their spiritual vision has been drastically compromised by the energies of hate.

     In this regard, we know from the teachings on the Cosmic Clock that the quality of hatred and the quality of spiritual blindness are closely related. In other words, if one indulges a condition of hatred (plotted on the 1 o'clock Aquarius line of God-Love), we know that this condition will obscure the quality of God-Vision (plotted on the 10 o'clock Scorpio line of God-Vision). This is because the quality of God-Love under the hierarchy of Aquarius plotted on the 1 o'clock line, has a direct correspondence to the quality of God-Vision under the hierarchy of Scorpio, plotted on the 10 o'clock line, as they are both on the ruby cross. The other two related qualities on the ruby cross are God-Obedience under the hierarchy of Taurus plotted on the 4 o'clock line, and God-Gratitude under the hierarchy of Leo plotted on the 7 o'clock line. There is a rule of thumb in this respect which holds that if a condition of misqualification is present under one of the hierarchies on the ruby cross, you will have a corresponding condition of misqualification under all of the hierarchies associated with the ruby cross.

     In this regard, if one indulges a condition of hatred (or intense dislike), beyond the obvious fact that this condition will deny to them the capacity to sense the love that God the Father has for them personally, a quality of energy and perception sponsored by the Aquarius Hierarchy of God-Love plotted on the 1 o'clock line, one will, moreover, be unable to conform one's thoughts to the Will of God (4 o'clock Taurus line of God Obedience in the mental quadrant), one will be unable to conform one's emotional body into the posture of genuine gratitude (7 o'clock Leo line of God-Gratitude in the emotional quadrant), and one will be unable to see the Reality of God (10 o'clock Scorpio line of God-Vision in the physical quadrant.)

     Now, the intense negative feelings towards George W. Bush that are harbored by those members of this community who came into the Teachings from the right leaning conspiracy theory camp, are a product of these misqualifications on the ruby cross. These feelings are not based on truth, or the perception of truth, but are a product of the untransmuted feelings of intense-dislike they carry forward from their previous association with the conspiracy theory camp.

     They continue to cling to a certain set of circumstantial observations associated with their former belief systems which appear to implicate George W. Bush in the hated conspiracy to defraud America of her sovereignty. And their desire to cling to these observations, and to cling to the erroneous conclusions drawn from them, is rooted simply in the desire to keep the inner furnaces of hatred stoked and burning bright. This is what they are used to. This is what they feel comfortable with. And because of the condition of spiritual blindness that is inherent in this, they can neither see nor appreciate the evidence that indicates that the conclusions they have drawn from these circumstantial observations in this regard are in error. In this respect, they operate as the pharisees of old, adhering to a strict intellectual interpretation of the letter of the law, without any deference to the spirit of the law which would otherwise infuse the all-important ingredient of balance into all thoughtforms produced by the mental body.

     It is of course important to understand how this has come to pass, especially if we are to clearly expose, for their benefit most importantly, the invalidity of their final conclusion as to the total evil nature of George W. Bush.

     Now, I don't want to give the impression that I am forgetting about the left wing peace camp here. All the general principles that we are talking about here, applies to them equally, especially when it comes to the issue of jettisoning all vibrations of hatred for anything, or anybody. The same principles apply when it comes to the impact that hatred has on the distortion of one's spiritual vision, and the capacity thereby to maintain balance in one's mental body. But as I noted above, there are plenty of clear markers in the Teaching that help left-leaning individuals identify those points on which they are out of alignment with truth. We already mentioned the teaching on abortion. The Master's teaching on pacifism is another good example. And the Master's teaching on Communism and Socialism, ideologies that the left has a certain vibration of sympathy with, is another good example.

     But, as noted above, the right leaning conspiracy theory afficionado's have a peculiarly difficult time dividing the real from the unreal, because of the ideological nexus points that we have already mentioned that are shared between their pre-existing belief systems and the Teachings of the Ascended Masters, and therefore, their plight needs a more in-depth treatment.

     Let us, then, quickly review the basis for these nexus points which exist within the Teaching itself.

     The Ascended Masters teach that absolute evil exists in the person of fallen angels who were thrown out of heaven, and imprisoned in physical bodies alongside the children of God on planet earth, and that they have been reincarnating alongside the children of God for several hundreds of millions of years. While in embodiment, the fallen angels work in a very determined manner to lead the children of God astray, into paths of great error and sin. Most often, they do their work from the corridors of the power elite, in as much as this is the natural place for them to gravitate, as they have always been in positions of authority over the children of God. And of course, if your agenda is control, a position of power and wealth is the best and most obvious place to exercise it.

     Now, as the Ascended Masters work in a very determined manner to lead the children of God back into the embrace of God, the fallen angels "conspire" to do everything possible to thwart the plans and programs sponsored by the Ascended Masters.

     In this respect, one of the most important goals of the Ascended Masters is to bring forth the knowledge of the Truth that will actually set people free in the here and now, allowing the people of the United States to reenter their divine estate and to thereby establish a focal point for a Golden Age culture that will eventually spread to cover the entire earth. The primary goal of the fallen angels is to thwart this plan.

     The Ascended Masters tell us that one of the longterm goals of the fallen angels in this regard is to establish a one world government that would then enforce a system of laws on a global scale that would do away with the principle of freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, etc., which would effectively stop the dissemination of the Teachings of the Ascended Masters. The International Capitalist Communist Conspiracy, affectionately known as the ICCC, is the conscious effort on the part of the fallen angels, and their agents, to build up the strength of America's enemies, providing them with the means to directly challenge, block, resist, and to ultimately eliminate America as a global power. With America out of the way, their plans for the setup of such a one world government could move ahead without serious opposition. Additionally, and on a more subtle track, any move to subordinate the sovereignty of the United States to international organizations is rightfully seen as the systematic work of the fallen angels to implement that strategy. And of course the most obvious of these efforts has to do with subordinating the sovereignty of the United States to the United Nations, i.e. to set up the United Nations as a law unto itself, to which the United States must bend the knee.

I would just observe here, parenthetically, that the United Nations is not, in and of itself, intrinsically evil, especially when you take into account the reason that it was established. In the aftermath of World War II, there was a very profound desire in the hearts of many to set up an organization that would facilitate cooperation among freedom loving nations to nip in the bud the rise of totalitarian powers. It was set up against the backdrop of the utter failure of nations (during the 1930's) to come together to stop Adolf Hitler before he had the chance to throw the planet into a world war. And this was a lofty and noble goal. Now, if the fallen angels can bend that organization into serving the purposes of the false hierarchy, then it has become an evil organization. But if the Friends of Freedom can sway the organization into serving the purposes of the Great White Brotherhood, then it can be a force for good in the world. As it stands today, it is a little bit of both, sort of reflecting the split personality of the fallen soul, who serves the purposes of God in some respects, but who will turn and serve the interests of darkness in other respects.

     So, when conspiracy theory afficionados discover this Teaching, they will say, "ah ha! I was right. I feel vindicated! I am not crazy! There is a conspiracy!" And as far as it goes, they are correct.

     Now, one of the classic heros of the conspiracy theory camp is author Antony Sutton, who wrote an expose on a secret society called "Skull and Bones". (America's Secret Establishment: An Introduction to the Order of Skull & Bones). This is a classic work. This secret society is headquartered at Yale University, one of the world's most prestigious universities located in New Haven, Connecticut, but of course, the existence of this society is not secret. It's what they do behind closed doors that is supposed to be secret. According to Sutton, members of this secret society are part and parcel of the power elite, who are working behind the scenes to amass power towards their own sinister ends. When the Messenger Elizabeth Clare Prophet interviewed author Antony Sutton, at Summit University on November 9, 1983, and again on July 1, 1987 (cassette B87054 ) this gave the conspiracy theory afficionados another powerful nexus between their pre-existing beliefs and the Teachings of the Ascended Masters.

     Why did Elizabeth Clare Prophet interview Antony Sutton? The reason didn't have anything to do with proclaiming Skull and Bones public enemy number one when it came to the overall activities of the fallen angels. In fact, if you do a search of the published dictations of the Ascended Masters, you will find that they did not refer to the "Skull and Bones" society one time. But there are several references in pearl end notes to the other books written by Antony Sutton on the subject of his primary expertise, dealing with how western capitalists engineered the transfer of western technology to the Soviet Union (Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution ; Western Technology and Soviet Economic Development ; The Best Enemy Money Can Buy ; How the Order Creates War and Revolution), and how western capitalists financed the rise of Adolf Hitler (Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler). These interviews, conducted against the backdrop of the threat of Soviet expansionism, were done primarily for the purpose of bringing out the primary focus of his work, i.e. technology transfer to the Communists, and if the issue of Skull and Bones was ever mentioned during the interview, it would have been in that context, i.e. in terms of how the members of Skull and Bones, after graduating from Yale University, used their positions of wealth and power to facilitate the transfer of western technology to the Soviet Union.

     But unfortunately, there are many in the conspiracy theory camp who view Skull and Bones as the end all and be all of planetary wide conspiracies, and they carried this overly simplistic and unrealistic viewpoint into the Teachings with them, and the interviews of Antony Sutton by Elizabeth Clare Prophet, for them, had the effect of further amplifying the importance of this single organization.

     In my judgment, the fallen angels you can see, and who are foolish enough (read that arrogant enough) to draw attention to themselves by setting up a "secret" society on the campus of one of the world's most prestigious universities, are far less dangerous, than those who are clever enough to effectively mask who they are, and what they stand for. Of course, one should not minimize the importance of having the knowledge of who some of the players are in this respect, at least for the purpose of closely scrutinizing their activities, and physically blocking their efforts where possible. But we should never lose sight of the fact that where you see one, two, ten or twenty roaches scurrying around on the counter top, hidden deep within the bowels of the foundation and walls, you would expect to find hundreds, thousands, and in some cases millions more. And that is why the Ascended Masters gave the Lightbearers the tool of the Judgment Call, which allows the children of God to enlist the legions of all of the Archangels in the clearing out of these infestations of fallen angels and their like minded servants. The Archangels can see exactly where they are, and they know exactly what can be done to put a stop to their nefarious activities. And as we give our Judgment Calls, we can be assured, and comforted, that the Archangels will deal with the fallen angels, whether those fallen angels are hidden in compartments of activity deep below the surface of the public awareness, or whether they are operating in a more public venue. In other words, 99% of what can be done to thwart their plans can only be accomplished by the Archangels. And as we give our Judgment Calls daily, and persistently, we can be assured that 99% of what can be done, is being done. That leaves 1% for us to deal with directly, in terms of using the democratic processes that we have access to, to take charge of the physical agenda of our government to the extent we can, to make sure that whenever an effort is made to implement an aspect of their one-world-government agenda, through state or federal legislation, that we step up to the bat to block it.

     When the Ascended Masters say of the forces of darkness, "You have no power!" they know whereof they speak. When we obediently give our calls as noted above, this Truth is made manifest in the physical, and behold, the fallen angels and their tools are stripped of power. In other words, they have no power! and they need not be feared. None of their conspiracies, real or imagined, will ever come to fruition (unless the requirements of our national karma require a hands-off posture by the Heavenly Host).

     The problem with the general membership of the conspiracy theory club, especially the great body of believers who live outside of the Circle of Light that defines the Teachings of the Ascended Masters, is that their minds are ruled by hatred and fear. All of their prognostications are blown out of all proportion by the presence of these misqualified energies. And therefore, from a divine perspective, the conclusions and judgments they draw as to what we ought to be concerned about, exhibit a condition of gross imbalance. In regards to what we really ought to be concerned about, as it relates to those conditions of national karma that would not allow divine intercession in particular situations, they are clueless, and lead the people up, over, and around, the considerations that matter the most. For example, in regards to the situation in Iraq, the issue of freedom and liberty of the Iraqi people ought to be the overriding consideration. But their continuing hatred (intense dislike) and fear of, those who are working behind the scenes to destroy America, makes it impossible for their hearts to have compassion for the Iraqi people, makes it impossible for their hearts to honor God's love for freedom, and makes it impossible to tie the two together in an effort to set the Iraqi people free. And the members of our community, who have an affinity for their prognostications, pull this condition of gross imbalance into the community itself, and spread the vibration of fear around as if it were the gospel truth, and thereby lend to the general atmosphere of hazy confusion as to what ought to be our highest priorities.

     So, you might ask, what does all this have to do with President George W. Bush?

     Both the first President Bush (George Herbert Walker Bush) whose term of office encompassed the years 1989 through 1992, and the current President George W. Bush were members of the Skull and Bones society during their college years at Yale University.

     What does that mean? What are the implications of this?

     In regards to the first President Bush, there appears to be a fairly obvious parallel between the characteristics that are attributed to fallen angels generally, (or to their tools), and specifically to those who comprised the membership of the Skull and Bones society in past decades, and Bush senior's actual actions when occupying positions of power and influence in the U.S. Government.

     For example, under President Nixon, George Herbert Walker Bush was appointed to the post of U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations (1971-73). In this position he had an opportunity to bend the United Nations towards the interests of the false hierarchy and their one-world-government agenda, by putting the world's largest Communist Nation (Red China) on the security council, giving the forces of World Communism a second security council veto over United States interests. As the reader will recall, Nixon was darkly obsessed with making Communist Red China an ally of the United States against the Soviet Union. For their cooperation in this, the Chinese Communists required that the U.S. engineer their entry into the United Nations as the sole representative of the Chinese people, an action that would result in the unseating and removal of Taiwan, which had heretofore represented all of China at the U.N. While George Herbert Walker Bush was not the author of this dark scheme, he was nevertheless the point man at the U.N. who engineered its implementation. Red China was admitted to the U.N. and seated on the security Council, and Taiwan was cast out. From the perspective of the Ascended Masters, who understand exactly what freedom is all about, and exactly the depths of danger represented by the forces of World Communism, this represented one of the most classic betrayals of the Spirit of Liberty the world has yet seen. And George Herbert Walker Bush was intertwined with it right up to his eyeballs.

     Then under President Ford, George Herbert Walker Bush was tapped to head the U.S. Liaison Office in Beijing, China (1974-75), where he worked to set the foundation for the establishment of trade ties between the U.S. and China which last to this day, and which represents an ever expanding source of wealth for the expansion and strengthening of the Communist Chinese military. During the latter part of the Ford administration, he was appointed to the Directorship of the CIA (1976-77), which some might look upon as membership in another secret society, and under President Ronald Reagan, served as Vice President from 1980 to 1988. In these offices, he paved the way for increased trade ties with the Communist Chinese, and as President (1988-1992) he took further steps to increase those trade ties, allowing for the transfer of western technology into the hands of the Communist Chinese military, which will one day be used against U.S. Military forces in a conflict over the freedom of Taiwan. Sound familiar? The Best Enemy Money Can Buy?

     This is really a classic expression of the psychology of the fallen angel (or a soul intrinsically aligned to their interests) who has zero affinity for America's divine destiny, and therefore has no psychological basis upon which to guard that destiny. When an individual's identity is totally absorbed into the sensations of power and elitism, which appears to be the case with Bush senior, then the Communist Leadership appears as just another manifestation of the same power elite, and they are treated as members of the same general club. The fact that the soul of George W. Bush did not register any danger associated with the fact that these Communist leaders were at war with God's purposes and plans for this earth tells us something rather important about his inner identity. Nevertheless, in as much as this sense of reality had no impact upon his relationship with the Communists, that relationship had to take the form dictated by the sense of priorities shared by all members of the power elite, which is to take every opportunity to scoop more cash (or raw power) into their mutual pockets. "If you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours, and we'll do it at the expense of the mindless microscopic and largely irrelevant masses that scurry around beneath our feet."

     Moreover, the first President Bush, (George Herbert Walker Bush), was actually labeled a betrayer by the Ascended Masters in relationship to his abandonment of the Shiites and Kurds at the close of the first Gulf War. According to Iraqi's in exile, Saddam Hussein executed 320,000 of the individuals who participated in the effort to oust him after the Gulf War. And if that wasn't enough to indicate his true colors, he actually spoke the words "new world order" in the course of his campaign to oust Saddam Hussein from Kuwait. And of course, his response to the massacre of thousands of pro-democracy demonstrators in Tiananmen Square in 1993 was dismally weak. The Ascended Masters chastised him for that as well. A true Son of God in that position, would have been inspired to leverage that event into a cascade of democratic action within China itself. But he remained largely silent. He did a few things to make an appearance of outrage, like putting military to military exchanges on hold, yet he kept trade ties open. Keep the cash flowing, no matter how many gallons of blood have been spilled crushing the people's quest for freedom. No more, and no less than another betrayal of the Spirit of Liberty.

     Now, some might say that the Soviet Union collapsed, and the Cold War came to end during his watch, and that ought to count for something. But the fact of the matter is, that his actions were all geared towards the support of Mikhail Gorbachev, who, while he advocated reform, also was a great champion for the survival of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. That's why Gorbachev's interest in reform was so passionate. He loved the Communist Party, he loved its totalitarian history, and he wanted it to survive. Implementing reform was the only way the Communist Party could survive, and stay in control, a lesson, ironically, that was not lost on the Communist Chinese. Bush's allegiances here were again aligned in the wrong direction, towards the stability of a reformed Communist Party, and during all of that turmoil, Bush never spoke up in favor of the great wave of freedom that swept the Communist Party out of power. He was silent.

     It was not so much his association with the Skull and Bones society that tells us who George Herbert Walker Bush really is, and where his allegiances lie, it is his actions at key points in history that speak louder than any organizational affiliations.

     Beyond this, conspiracy theory afficionados bring additional information of even more dark deeds to the table, in this case, regarding the past history of the Bush family, pre-dating the failings of the first President Bush just mentioned. According to them, the Bush family is supposed to have been involved in the financing of Adolf Hitler through the sale of German bonds in U.S. capital markets (and perhaps it is possible that this information originated in one of the Sutton books), and that they were instrumental in financing the population control movement, and the establishment of Planned Parenthood, the planet's foremost advocate for killing defenseless children in the womb. I don't know whether any of that is true, but they certainly believe it, and from that you can get an idea of how truly evil they believe the Bush family to be.

     But what of the son, the current President George W. Bush? Are we to load onto his shoulders the crimes of his father, and his family ancestors? And what are we to make of his membership in the Skull and Bones society during his college years?

     It is instantly obvious of course, to the conspiracy theory afficionados, as to exactly what we are to make of all this. Like father, like son. Chip off the old block as it were. In their eyes, George W. Bush is heir to all the darkness and evil manifest by past family members up to and including his father, and of course, his membership in the Skull and Bones society is supposed to be prima facie validation for this conclusion.

     To these individuals as well, George W. Bush was public enemy #1 long before Saddam Hussein ever appeared on their radar screens. And when circumstances forced Saddam Hussein onto their radar screens alongside George W. Bush, they quickly discovered that there wasn't enough room on it for two enemies, especially one that would make George W. Bush look like good guy. So the person they love to hate the most stays on their radar screen. And Saddam Hussein gets a pass.

     Whoever said that without vision, the people perish, knew what he was talking about. Consider this:

     There is proof positive that Saddam Hussein hates America, and that he has a passionate desire to exact revenge against us. There is proof positive that Saddam Hussein is pouring every possible resource into the acquisition of nuclear weapons, and that the only thing he needs is the weapons grade plutonium (which is readily available if you can make the right connections in the old Soviet Union, whose controls over that kind of material are for all intents and purposes practically non-existent.)

     Moreover, it is absolutely clear, that there are multiple examples in recorded history of past enemies joining forces to destroy a common enemy whom they both hate more than they hate each other. No matter what the gulf of antipathy that might have separated Saddam Hussein's secular dictatorship from the religious zealotry of the al Qaeda terrorist organization, the fact of the matter is, that if the hatred is strong enough, the force of it will build a useable bridge across that gulf. And we all can see clearly that the hatred is strong enough to build that bridge, and in fact, the bridge building is already beginning with the presence of al Qaeda forces inside Iraq as we speak. Therefore, it is a mathematical certainty that Saddam Hussein will attempt to join forces with terrorists of any stripe on the basis of their common hatred for America, for the purpose of delivering a crippling nuclear blow upon us.

     These facts stand before us as if they were written in crystal white script against a clear blue sky. And here we have a man, in President George W. Bush, who can see these facts, by the Grace of God, and who is ready to act on those facts, again by the Grace of God. And what is the reaction of these conspiracy theory afficionados in our community? Because of their pre-existing hatred for the man, they simply cannot see any of the things just mentioned. They are sincerely blind in this respect. And out of that condition of blindness, in as much as there is no inner brake upon the continued expression of their intense dislike, they continue to take every opportunity to assassinate GWB's character based solely on his family associations, not simply refusing, but psychologically unable to take into account the possibility that they could be wrong, and that their efforts are thereby, albeit indirectly, having the effect of clearing the way for Saddam Hussein to exact his revenge upon the people of the United States of America.

     In this respect, every individual who marched for peace in the 1930's (even as Hitler's armies were over-running one country after another) blocking and delaying America's entry into the war, has the blood of those tens of millions who perished in that war on their hands. How is it possible that anyone would want to be associated with such a condition of pathological blindness which caused millions to lose their lives?

     From these principles emerge an outline of the real issue that we face, when it comes to understanding why some people align themselves in favor of ousting Saddam Hussein, and others align themselves in opposition. The manner in which people align themselves in this regard, is directly related to the percentage of their identity that is invested in records of hate (hatred that is essentially targeted at God, and his purposes and plans for the individual and the race) that they carry forward from previous embodiments, and the percentage of their identity that is invested in records of God-Love (appreciation for God's purposes and plans) that they carry forward from previous embodiments. I believe that this is, at rock bottom, the best way to explain what is the real basis for an individual's support or opposition to an effort to oust Saddam Hussein.
     For those individuals whose identity is ruled by the records of hatred (which they carry forward from many past lives), at the level of their soul, they do not sense any substantial vibrational dissonance between the net average vibrational frequency of their own identity, and that of Saddam Hussein. They both vibrate at the vibration of hatred. In this manner they do not sense anything emanating from Saddam Hussein that challenges the existence of their identity, or their vision of what the world should be. They say in their heart, "I really don't see any problem there." And they are quite sincere. On the basis of this deep subconscious allegiance to the records of hatred carried forward from past lives, these individuals will build huge and glittering superstructures of self-justification. That is what 99% of the peace movement is about on the left, and that is what 99% of the conspiracy theory camp is about on the right. They will of course, as a predicate to their opposition, acknowledge the evil nature of Saddam Hussein. But that is only a pro-forma statement that they feel is necessary if they are going to get anyone to actually listen to the rest of their arguments. But, the truth is rather obvious. If they really felt that Saddam Hussein was evil, they would be the first to advocate action against him.
      For those individuals whose identity is ruled by the energies of love, in terms of a love for God, or at least a recognition of God, a sense of value for God, a sense of appreciation for the beauty that he has created in so many ways, carrying forward those life records associated with service to God's purpose and plan from many past lives, for these people, at the soul level, there is a huge vibrational dissonance between the net average frequency of their identity, and that of Saddam Hussein. These individuals inherently sense danger in Saddam Hussein. And the more attuned they are to the realms of God Appreciation, the more clearly they can sense the magnitude of the darkness that Saddam Hussein represents, and the potential for destruction that is inherent in that darkness. And this is especially true when it comes to sensing the magnitude of the desire that resides within him to destroy God's plan for not just the Iraqi people, but for the American people as well.
     In the juxtaposition of these two fundamental approaches to the issue, we have an explanation of why, when confronted with an exposition on how much God loves freedom, and how much he desires to help those who take action in defense of freedom, ("Trust in God — Trust in his Love for Freedom, Trust in his Vision for a Free Iraq"), that a member of this community would come back and say to me, "you are beating a dead horse." This person has not yet learned to care, really care, about what God loves, and therefore, cannot draw conclusions within his own mind as to what God can be expected to support. He only knows what he hates. And that allegiance to the desire to continue hating, as long as he clings to it, will be an insurmountable obstacle to entering that vibration of spiritual reality wherein the soul can actually relate to what God actually desires to see happen in the affairs of men.
     Of course, the issue concerning what percentages of the identity are composed of an allegiance to the records of hatred that we carry forward from past lives, and what percentages of the identity are composed of an allegiance to the records of God-Love that we carry forward from past lives, is a complex question. The exact mix and proportions are different for everyone. But in way of simplifying the question, we could observe that some people have lop-sided percentages in one direction, and other's would have lop-sided percentages in the other direction, and then there are some people who might have what amounts to nearly equal proportions of both. In this respect, for those who straddle the fence, the presentation of the facts can usually sway them to lean away from their sense of affinity to their hatred related life-records, and towards their affinity to love. We have a good example of this in a comment made by an unidentified woman who spoke up during a recent Oprah Winfrey show which aired October 9, 2002 (video tape and transcript available here), which was dedicated to presenting information and getting people's opinions about the issue of ousting Saddam Hussein. Unidentified Woman #5: I said that I--I--I didn't want to go to war because it--it--in my heart, I--I just don't feel that. But listening to these g--gentlemen, they have--and seeing these pictures, they have definitely changed my mind in--What?--15 minutes, that we should go and go fast. That's my opinion.
     And finally, in this we have a useful model for understanding the relative stages of spiritual evolution exhibited by the various nations. First we make note of the fact that the majority of the American people support the idea of taking action against Saddam Hussein. This corresponds to what the Ascended Masters have said to us related to the drawing of the most advanced souls to the United States of America for the purpose of laying the groundwork for a planet wide golden age. They support the idea, because they have the greatest track record, in terms of past life experiences, in trying to serve God's will. And on the other hand, we see that public opinion in other nations is heavily against the idea, representing a preponderance of allegiance to those life records associated with following the agenda of hatred (Dear God get out of my face, I'm really not interested in conforming my life, the life of my family, my nation, or any nation, to your divine designs.).

     In an era where the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction will be the rule, rather than the exception, blindness is extremely dangerous.

     Now, whether opposition to George W. Bush comes from groups on the right or groups on the left, they both make a significant error when they use a broad brush to paint the entire character of an individual pitch black just because the individual doesn't see things the way they see them on a particular point, or even a range of points. People are far more complex than that.

     (Of course, there are exceptions to this rule. But these exceptions stand out in sharp relief only after a particular individual has been given ample opportunity to serve the interests of the Light, and instead of leaving upon the world scene a legacy of right decisions, they leave a trail of errors and mistakes, embracing darkness, in nearly every conceivable situation. In hindsight, one can come to the conclusion that there existed in that individual no inherent desire to see the Cause of the Light succeed, that the opposite was true, that the individual experienced much more of a sense of personal comfort whenever the Cause of Darkness could be advanced. We have had examples of such individuals outpicturing such personal tragedies on the national and world stages more times than any of us would care to admit.)

     Setting this caveat aside, in particular for those who are just entering into their arena of opportunity, and George W. Bush falls within this category, we must first observe, that as human beings we are all imperfect. But of course, as we walk the Path of Initiation back into the arms of our Father/Mother God (under the auspices of the Ascended Masters, including the Master Jesus), we are putting on strands of perfection, one strand at a time. This means that at any particular point on the path, we will find strands of darkness, and strands of light manifesting simultaneously within the character of the same individual.

     We must be careful not to make the mistake of using one prominent strand of darkness (which we believe we have found in a person's character or personality) to define the entire character of that individual. This practice, of willfully painting the entire character of a person pitch black, is in direct opposition to the Master's admonishment to "judge not". They encourage us rather, to hold the immaculate concept for every individual. What is the immaculate concept? At minimum, holding the immaculate concept for an individual means that we express, by our own thoughts, words, and deeds, a determined faith that by the power of God, the individual in question can rise above all imperfection and limitation, to express the fullness of the divine identity that God holds as the immaculate and perfect blueprint for that individual's life. Perhaps a tall order in so many cases. But the law is the law. And the Masters encourage us to obey this law for a good reason. The victory we envision for another is the victory that we draw unto ourselves. And the contrary is true. The matrix of failure and defeat with which we imprison another, with our thoughts and words, and deeds, will as surely as the sun rises, and sets, turn around and imprison us.

     In regards to the members of our community who come out of the conspiracy theory tradition, they are inclined to paint the entire character of George W. Bush pitch black just because he is a member of the Bush family, and was a member of the Skull and Bones club while at Yale. That represents the entire warp and woof of their evidence against him. What foolishness it is to be so much at ease with so thin a basis for one's conclusions.

     For the purpose of countering this, I want to state forthrightly, that I believe that there are several good reasons to conclude that it isn't fair to judge George W. Bush based on the failings of his father. I believe that there are several good reasons to conclude that it isn't fair to judge him based solely on what the Bush clan has been up to over the last 100 years. I believe that there are several good reasons to conclude that it isn't fair to judge him based solely on his association with an on-campus club during his years at Yale University. I believe that a fair minded person ought to give their attention to these reasons before passing judgment on his character.

     The first thing that I would like to point out, is that it's eminently possible, for souls of great light, to be born to parents of great darkness for karmic reasons. This principle, which is reasonable, ought to put a brake on any mad dash towards the condemnation of George W. Bush based solely on the activities of his father and grandfather.

     For example, there are many students of the Ascended Masters, many of which have, and are destined to make their ascension in this life, who have parents who totally reject the validity of the Teachings of the Ascended Masters. A position in opposition to the Teachings is by definition a position of considerable darkness. Yet, these souls who have a very strong attunement to the light are able to overcome the downward pull of their parent's electronic belt substance, and rise into the brilliance of their own divine destiny.

     I believe that it would also be valid to use the life of former President John F. Kennedy as an example to further illustrate this point. According to information published in books about JFK's father (e.g. The Founding Father: The Story of Joseph P. Kennedy: A Study in Power, Wealth and Family Ambition, by Richard J. Whalen, and The Sins of the Father: Joseph P. Kennedy and the Dynasty He Founded, by Ronald Kessler), it would appear that Joseph P. Kennedy did not exhibit any of the more obvious characteristics that would be associated with a lightbearer. He was interested primarily in money, power, and status. The family fortune was built on bootlegging during prohibition, and he was virulently anti-Semitic, and an apologist for Adolf Hitler. All of these themes correspond in a harmonious manner with the vibrations sponsored by the false hierarchy. And there are many who use these indisputable facts to paint the entire Kennedy clan as evil.

     But according to the testimony of the Ascended Masters, John F. Kennedy was a lightbearer. For example, Beloved Gautama Buddha had this to say about JFK during the 1962 New Year's class in Washington, D.C., January 1, 1962:

      I AM Gautama a Buddha, speaking to you from Shamballa. On wings of cosmic light, I AM come this night to give you a message of courage and hope for the coming world.
     The president of this great nation, << John Kennedy>> , has admitted to mankind that he has a great hope for the world. And this hope which has blossomed in his heart was sent to him by a band of angels from Shamballa; and it is a blessing to the people of America and a blessing to the people of the world. For, contrary to some people's opinion, the forces of Light are interested in mankind. (Pearls of Wisdom, Vol. 26 No. 2, January 9, 1983)

     And in 1980, Beloved Archangel Zadkiel had this to say about JFK:

     You realize that crisis is precipitated and the augmentation of darkness does not allow for the children of the light to rise and be prepared and be elected. The machines of national politics are such that it is well nigh to impossible for a son of God to enter that machine and win.
     That which is remarkable in recent history is the victory itself of John F. Kennedy whose soul, as a soul of God, went forth conquering and to conquer. <6> And thus he came and thus he won by light and by the support of the Brotherhood. And you can well understand that that support is given by the inner light, and not necessarily by outer actions, but by the love of the heart; and the love of the heart of that blessed son exceeded all others. (Pearls of Wisdom, Vol. 23, No. 19, May 11, 1980)

     There are a couple of interesting points made in this particular statement that we would should duly recognize and appreciate before moving on.

     First, in the Master's recognition of the difficulty of a lightbearer to rise into the corridors of the power elite, we have in this a reason for lightbearers to embody into the families of the power elite themselves. Would John F. Kennedy been successful if he was not supported by his father's wealth, not to mention the overwhelming obsession his father had for getting his son into the White House? One thing is for certain, this contextual framework was no handicap. We could extrapolate from this, the possibility that George W. Bush, a lightbearer whose karma and dharma required national service from the highest office, embodied into the Bush clan so that his rise to the Presidency could be more easily attained.
     The other interesting point about this statement by Archangel Zadkiel is what it says indirectly about George Herbert Walker Bush (i.e. Bush senior). We note that in proclaiming JFK to be lightbearer, and that it was the plan of the Brotherhood to support his rise to the Presidency, we would have to conclude (in the obverse) that the plan of the Brotherhood was also to keep JFK's opponent (Richard Nixon) out of the White House at the time. What does that say about Nixon? We might conclude from this that Nixon was not a lightbearer, and that conclusion would be partially supported by the fact that in the process of finding an example of a Lightbearer who had risen to the office of the Presidency, that Archangel Zadkiel had to go back in history, and in the process of going back, he had to skip over Jimmy Carter, Gerald Ford, Richard Nixon, and Lyndon Johnson. Moreover, this conclusion would be further supported by any fair analysis of how Nixon's actions as President (1969-1973) stack up against the priorities of the Great White Brotherhood. In this respect his record was dismal. As noted above, he was the author of that dark scheme to place another major Communist Power on the U.N. Security Council (China), giving the forces of World Communism a second veto over the United States. In the process of implementing this maneuver, he abandoned Taiwan, an essential citadel of freedom from the Master's perspective. He set the stage for trade relations with another Communist power (China again), leading to a repeat of the history outlined in Antony Sutton's "The Best Enemy Money Can Buy," paving the way for war over the freedom of Taiwan. Under the guise of "peace with honor" he betrayed the South Vietnamese into the hands of the North Vietnamese Communists, a move that ultimately led to the rise of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia and the slaughter of 3 million souls there. In regards to the issue of Vietnam, we need to remember that it was JFK who rightfully committed the U.S. to a role in defense of freedom there, and it was ultimately Richard Nixon who betrayed the blueprint for liberty's victory there. Against the backdrop of Ascended Master support for the concept of missile defense, Nixon negotiated and signed a treaty with the Soviet Union that banned the implementation of a comprehensive defense against ballistic missile attack, which led to several decades of nuclear terror under the doctrine of Mutually Assured Destruction. One slip and the whole world blows up. He appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court the very justice who would write the infamous Roe v. Wade decision that would legalize abortion in 1973 (Harry A. Blackmun). He completely severed U.S. paper currency from the gold standard. It was during his term of office that the World Trade Towers in New York City were built (just an interesting observation) providing the 21st century terrorists the very target that would signal the opening of the war on terror. And if all of this was not enough, as a parting tribute, he personally and single-handedly shattered the trust of the American people in the Office of the President (which is an office in the Spiritual Hierarchy of the planet) through his self-serving Watergate shenanigans, and was the first and only President ever to resign from office. Then we would simply observe that it was Richard Nixon who established George Herbert Walker Bush as a political force to be reckoned with in the Republican Party, in other words, that it was the patronage of Richard Nixon that gave George Herbert Walker Bush the opportunity to ascend to the Presidency in 1988.

     Now, one of the most time honored traditions, especially within the families of the power elite, is that the father will have certain expectations for his sons, and his sons will make every effort to fulfill those expectations. It is within reason to assume that the senior Bush would have looked fondly upon his own association with the Skull and Bones society at Yale, and that he would expect his son to follow in his footsteps. This was clearly a family tradition that began with George senior's father, Prescott Bush. And it is reasonable to assume that George W. Bush's association with that secret society was due more to his desire to follow along with this family tradition, and to please his father, than it was due to any heart felt sympathy with the underlying agenda of darkness which the society represents.

     The desire to acquire power, and the desire to use power, without recognizing this universal truth, that power, itself, cannot be rightly used, unless the soul bends the knee before the Will of God, will always represent a gross darkness, and a gross myopia. Now, in as much as the underlying agenda of the Skull and Bones society had to do with a dedication to the acquisition of power for the benefit of the elite wielders of that power, without regard to the Will of God, then that society could rightfully be termed Satanic. But it is also true, generally speaking, that individuals of college age, have not reached a level of maturity wherein they are able to evaluate the tests of life on that basis. They are far more likely to be enchanted with, or perhaps intoxicated might be a better word, with the concept of power with which their elite status is associated. Therefore, it is highly unlikely, that members of this society, in their senior year at Yale University, would have ever recognized that there was anything sinister about their participation in the club at the time, in as much as that experience was completely fused with the general environment of power with which they had grown accustomed over the entire course of their childhood. In this regard, it is my opinion, that one cannot use a person's association with this club at this stage in their life to draw any kind of conclusion about that person's inner character. And this is the more true, when you consider that the historical record contains examples of individuals, who, while they were members of that society in their college years, nevertheless forged a path through life in their later years that completely abandoned any semblance of loyalty to the interests of the power elite.
     This is the all important point of evaluation. How does an individual use power? That is where you can tell whether a person serves the interests of the Light, or the interests of Darkness. Because all souls, including those of the fallen angels, are placed within a structure of life expression that has all of the sentient qualities associated with being human, one cannot discern the inner character of anyone based on the interplay of human sympathies, or on the basis of a narrow range of personal associations. For all souls, including fallen angels, there is a single universal thread running through the life, and that thread relates to the issue of acquiring power, and using power. And that evaluation, of how power is used, if it is to be fair, cannot be focused on either family associations, or those associations that are intrinsic to the station in life into which the person is born, but rather, must focus on the use of power when the individual has been given a reasonable opportunity to come into his own, in terms of his chosen career. When the person has come to the point where it can be said that he is in control of his destiny, that it where the evaluation will most likely provide useful and accurate conclusions, and not before.

     There are some aspects to George W. Bush's personality that we know about that would argue persuasively for this viewpoint, i.e. the shallowness of mind exhibited by college age young adults, especially those who are surfeited in the trappings of wealth and power from an early age. For example, he was known as a party animal up to the age of 40. People who live that lifestyle, live on the very surface of life. It is not possible for such people to have deep agendas one way or the other, i.e. either on behalf of the light, or on behalf of the darkness. And it's possible that he actually chose this lifestyle subconsciously, because he was loath to confront the history of the Bush family head on. People who live on the surface of life, are more or less making the following statement: "I don't want to, nor am I ready to deal with the presence of absolute evil, or the presence of absolute good, either in myself, or in the world." And his bout with alcoholism certainly indicates a powerful subconscious desire to escape something.

     Moreover, it is clear, that for any soul whose karma requires they become enmeshed in the family traditions of a certain class of fallen angels (or agents of darkness) (or tools of the sinister force) over the course of childhood, and young adulthood, it will be a great challenge to find the inner Light, and to wiggle out of those traditions of darkness over the course of his or her later adult life.

     In this regard, I believe that there are several pieces of evidence which indicate that George W. Bush is actively wiggling out of those family traditions, making more clear, day by day where his true loyalties and allegiances lie. And that would be with God, and not the Anti-God cabal of the false hierarchy that his dad, and his grandfather apparently followed after.

     First we can begin with the issue of alcoholism. When confronted with the ravages of alcoholism, his soul was humble enough to recognize that he needed help, and that he needed help from God (and not from a committee of secular psychologists). And he was further able to exhibit enough humility to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. It is probably true that his understanding of that relationship does not rise to the level of illumination represented in the Teachings of the Ascended Masters, but nevertheless, when a hand is sincerely extended to the Master Jesus, Jesus will sincerely extend his hand back to that soul, and he will do that regardless of the soul's level of sophistication when it comes to new age concepts. Through that relationship, George W. Bush knows that it was the power of God that flowed through those clasped hands that set him free from his alcoholism. That point of knowledge is pure spiritual gold, and it will be with him for the rest of his life. Furthermore, he exhibits additional examples of humility when he publically gives God and Jesus Christ the credit for setting him free from that alcoholism. These examples of humility are important, because Fallen Angels, or souls that are thoroughly evil, do not exhibit the quality of humility.

     Now, within the historical record there is abundant proof that his bout with alcoholism was genuine, and his approach to overcoming it was also genuine. In other words, these stories do not represent a public relations fabrication. Therefore, because of these simple and verifiable facts, it is simply wrong to broad brush stroke the character of this individual as totally evil. There is at least one vein of gold running through that character. And make no mistake about it. There are thousands of angels committed to the task of nurturing and expanding that one vein of gold.

     This angelic presence around President George W. Bush must be taken into account by those who are promoting this idea that his character is totally bent to the dark side of life. We have just pointed out the presence of one vein of gold in his character, so that by itself, proves their generalization wrong. But more importantly, as millions of Americans pray for this president, and as Keepers of the Flame gives their calls for his guidance and illumination, thousands of angels descend around him, and what will they try to do? They will work on guarding, protecting, and expanding pre-existing veins of gold within his character. They will work to build upon what is there that is of genuine value and worth, with the idea that the expanding light will work to consume the presence of whatever darkness occupies the remainder of his character and personality. These people should understand, that as they continue to fling the arrows of judgment and condemnation at him, that the angels have to use a good portion of their intercessory authority to deflect those arrows, and send them back from whence they came.

     And I would point out that once you identify a vein of gold in someone's character, and come to understand that Holy Angels will be working with that individual to multiply and expand that vein of gold, you must stop the process of broad brush stroking a person's character as totally black, as this works against the efforts of the Holy Angels. In as much as the constructive efforts of the Holy Angels represents the outworking of the Will of God in and around George W. Bush, continued efforts to paint his character totally black, must be seen as the soul's inability to reign in a long standing momentum of rebellion against the Will of God.

     Faced with the national tragedy of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, the soul of President George W. Bush felt quite comfortable in rallying the nation around God. This is not the posture of an individual who is evil. On September 13, 2001, just two days after the 9/11 attacks, President Bush proclaimed a National Day of Prayer and Remembrance, to be observed on September 14, 2001. This is part of his proclamation:

We mourn with those who have suffered great and disastrous loss. All our hearts have been seared by the sudden and sense-less taking of innocent lives. We pray for healing and for the strength to serve and encourage one another in hope and faith.

Scripture says: "Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted." I call on every American family and the family of America to observe a National Day of Prayer and Remembrance, honoring the memory of the thousands of victims of these brutal attacks and comforting those who lost loved ones. We will persevere through this national tragedy and personal loss. In time, we will find healing and recovery; and, in the face of all this evil, we remain strong and united, "one Nation under God."

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GEORGE W. BUSH, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim Friday, September 14, 2001, as a National Day of Prayer and Remembrance for the Victims of the Terrorist Attacks on September 11, 2001. I ask that the people of the United States and places of worship mark this National Day of Prayer and Remembrance with noontime memorial services, the ringing of bells at that hour, and evening candlelight remembrance vigils. I encourage employers to permit their workers time off during the lunch hour to attend the noontime services to pray for our land. I invite the people of the world who share our grief to join us in these solemn observances.  (full text)

     In author Bill Sammon's Fighting Back - The War on Terrorism — from Inside the Bush Whitehouse, Bush describes the process of developing the speech that he would deliver on the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance at the National Cathedral in Washington D.C. on September 14, 2001. He said, "It's a very important speech. And I had worked on the speech and it was a good speech ... I prayed a lot before the speech because I felt like it was a moment where I needed, well, frankly, for the good Lord to shine through." I ask the reader sincerely, is it possible for a soul to have a better attitude than this? And the speech itself gave additional expression to his soul's affinity for God:

     Our purpose as a nation is firm. Yet our wounds as a people are recent and unhealed, and lead us to pray. In many of our prayers this week, there is a searching, and an honesty. At St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York on Tuesday, a woman said, "I prayed to God to give us a sign that He is still here." Others have prayed for the same, searching hospital to hospital, carrying pictures of those still missing.
     God's signs are not always the ones we look for. We learn in tragedy that his purposes are not always our own. Yet the prayers of private suffering, whether in our homes or in this great cathedral, are known and heard, and understood.
     There are prayers that help us last through the day, or endure the night. There are prayers of friends and strangers, that give us strength for the journey. And there are prayers that yield our will to a will greater than our own.
     This world He created is of moral design. Grief and tragedy and hatred are only for a time. Goodness, remembrance, and love have no end. And the Lord of life holds all who die, and all who mourn.

     On this national day of prayer and remembrance, we ask almighty God to watch over our nation, and grant us patience and resolve in all that is to come. We pray that He will comfort and console those who now walk in sorrow. We thank Him for each life we now must mourn, and the promise of a life to come.
     As we have been assured, neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, can separate us from God's love. May He bless the souls of the departed. May He comfort our own. And may He always guide our country.

     After President Bush delivered his speech at the National Cathedral on September 14, 2001, on the occasion of the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance, he flew to New York City to view the ruins of the World Trade Center towers at Ground Zero. From all accounts, the scene was total chaos, and there was no pre-planned events or speeches scheduled (with the rescue workers). The President had come down there to just look and see and take in the magnitude of what had happened on September 11, 2001. The only thing one might predict, was the rescue workers would want to shake hands with the President, and he would definitely want to shake their hands with deep gratitude for their devotion to their fallen brothers and sisters. As hundreds of people pressed around the President, exchanging handshakes and his immediate sentiments with dozens of dirty, grimy, and haggard firefighters, it became clear that the rescue workers wanted to hear him speak. A presidential aid scavenged a bull horn (with a low battery), and a pile of rubble was selected as a podium. And amidst this amazing scene of destruction, and overpowering emotions of all kinds, with hundreds of people clamoring to hear him say a few words, this is what came out of his mouth:

"I want you all to know that America today — America today — is on bended knee in prayer for the people whose lives were lost here, for the workers who work here, for the families who mourn."

     I apologize to the reader for what might appear to many as overt sentimentality on my part, but I have to say that I find this absolutely amazing. His mind did not reflect the chaos of the scene. His mind was not focused on any issue regarding his own person. His mind was focused on the people in prayer before God. That's right: On the people in prayer before God. Very much like that Norman Rockwell painting depicting George Washington kneeling in prayer at Valley Forge. I believe, given the circumstances, and given all the various pressures impinging upon him at that point, that what came out of his mouth was a spontananeous expression of his core character. Sort of like a diamond flashing forth a brilliant ray of light. For the life of me, I really cannot fathom how any person in their right mind could believe that such a statement could be staged.

     Now, because the bull horn's battery was low, it wasn't putting out a lot of volume, and people in the crowd kept saying, "can't hear you." And that set the stage for the famous line that he delivered totally off the cuff, which basically made him famous, when he said, "I can hear you! And the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon!" Of course, that drove the crowd absolutely wild. And what President Bush said of this event later, in an interview with author Bill Sammon, is equally revealing of his character. He said:

     It was just one of those spontanoues things where it just popped right out. It wasn't planned, it wasn't thought about, it wasn't scripted. It just happened.
     And maybe that's the way it should be. The American people don't like to be kind of fooled. They don't want script, particularly in these moments. I believe they want feeling and emotion and honesty — honesty isn't the right word, but honest feeling. And so this moment was an opportunity. It was just one of those God-given moments where it worked out fine because it sent the right kind of message to the country. (Fighting Back, p. 191-192)

     Please make a note of exactly to whom the President is giving the credit: "It was just one of those God-given moments ..." This sentiment is not the sentiment of an evil person. This is the sentiment of a soul that see's God as the creator of beautiful and special moments, and he is perfectly comfortable in giving God the credit for creating those moments. While this is unstated, it has to hold true, that George W. Bush also appears to be very comfortable with idea that God can use him as an instrument in the creation of those special moments. And here is another point of personal connection with God that produces the wonderful fruit of gratitude in the soul of George W. Bush, further solidifying his loyalty to the divine. And this is an imporant point. Think about it from GWB's perspective. Video tape of that event was shown world wide. Everyone saw it as a defining moment for this President, and for the nation. And therefore, it had to be a huge personal event in the life of this President, something that stands out above practically everything else, and he sees that event as a gift from God. I want to the reader to imagine what it would be like to have such an event in the storehouse of your own personal memories. It is a moment that you would never forget. It would continue to be a towering monument to God's creative power, and because of that, it would continue to generate, within Bush's soul, the quality of gratitude unto God, and again, gratitude provides a line of communcation between the soul and its Creator, and it is the very stuff out of which loyality to divine principle is forged.

     Those members of our community, who insist on believing that this man is out to destroy God's plan for the world, and is bent on herding all of God's precious children into some kind of a global concentration camp, should be ashamed of themselves. I mean they really need to seriously consider feeling the deepest and most profound shame that a human being can feel. They need to get a grip on that demon of paranoia that has run absolutely amuck within their temple, and cast it, with a mighty heave, across the vast reaches of intersteller space, cur-plunk, into the lake of sacred fire in the Great Central Sun. They don't need it, we don't need it, George W. Bush doesn't need it, the American people don't need it, nobody needs it anymore. There is absolutely no constructive use for it anymore, anywhere, on this planet.

     Using the foregoing as a premise, i.e. GWB's humility before God, we can observe, that if the Skull and Bones secret society is in fact based on Satanism (the acquisition and use of power without regard to the Will of God), the foregoing points are indicative of the fact that George W. Bush, as a mature adult, has developed the inner courage to go against the Satanic traditions of that society. When he publically pronounces the value of believing in God, and relying upon God, he is publically pronouncing the invalidity, the error, the falsehood, of the ideology upon which the Skull and Bones fraternity is based. And it is reasonable to wonder whether the practitioners of Satanism within the Skull and Bones fraternity would ever feel comfortable having someone in their midst who truly and genuinely believes that Jesus Christ set him free from alcoholism. I mean, here is someone that has a tie of Gratitude to God himself, and what is more, Gratitude gives birth to the desire to be loyal, and the last thing they are interested in is someone who has a loyalty to God. That really goes against the grain of their human centered paradigm of power acquisition and use.

     Moreover, if it is true that George W. Bush is a lightbearer born into the Bush family for karmic reasons, it is reasonable to assume that the hard core membership of the Skull and Bones society would have sensed that George W. Bush was not really one of them, in terms of soul vibration. Sure, in all probability they would have allowed him to join as a favor to his dad, but logic would have demanded that they take steps to make sure that he was not made privy to the darker secrets of the society, so as to minimize the possibility of later exposure and betrayal of their secrets. And this would explain why he came out of his experience with Skull and Bones with the sense that it was just another social option on the Yale campus.

     Now, as noted above, the conspiracy theory afficionados in our community like to point out that the traditions of the Bush family include an adherence to a pro-abortion mentality. I believe that George Herbert Walker Bush (the Senior Bush) publically took the pro-choice position before he became the running mate of Ronald Reagan in 1980. When he became the vice presidential candidate, he became "pro-life" or at least "pro" whatever it took to get elected as Reagan's running mate. And pretty much the same can be said of Bush senior's term of office as President, 1989-1992. He knew that he needed the pro-life vote if he was to be re-elected for a second term, and he did whatever it took (and no more) to maintain his pro-life credentials. But, one of the things that revealed his true feelings on this issue, and something I guess he believed he could get away with, was his appointment of Louis Sullivan, an outspoken advocate of the pro-choice position, to the post of cabinet Secretary for the Department of Health and Human Services. This poisoned his relationship with the Pro-Life community, and it was one of the reasons that he lost the 1992 election. The Pro-Life community never really trusted him, like they trusted Reagan, and this action on his part was the final straw for most ardent Pro-Life supporters. Anyone that was truly Pro-Life at heart would never have appointed a person with pro-choice views to that position.

     On this issue, the current President, George W. Bush appears to be going against this Bush family tradition as well. He has always positioned himself as Pro-Life. Before running for president, he had a solid Pro-Life record during his two terms as Governor of Texas. And he continues to push the envelope for the Pro-Life cause as President of the United States.

     Now, the Ascended Masters are on record telling us that the abortion issue is the single most important issue facing America today because it creates the greatest amount of karma for the individual and for the nation. George W. Bush is on the right side of this issue, and not just in words, but in the form of actual laws that protect the unborn. In a phone call to those who gathered for the March for Life in Washington D.C. on January 22, 2002, he said:

     For almost 30 years, Americans from every state in the Union have gathered in the Washington Mall in order to march for life. This march is an example of an inspiring commitment and of deep human compassion.
     Everyone there believes, as I do, that every life is valuable; that our society has a responsibility to defend the vulnerable and weak, the imperfect and even the unwanted; and that our nation should set a great goal that unborn children should be welcomed in life and protected in law. (Applause.)

     George W. Bush is appointing Pro-Life people to positions of great authority in the federal government, for example, to the office of the Attorney General, to the office of the Secretary of Health and Human Services, and to the office of the Surgeon General. And the judges he has nominated for the federal bench have been consistently Pro-Life. He has used the president's power to issue executive orders in defense of the unborn as well, banning the use of U.S. foreign aid money for any kind of abortion support. If George W. Bush was a thoroughly evil person in the pocket of the pro-abortion and family planning forces, while he might be expected to mouth the Pro-Life line for political purposes, he would never take actual steps to harness the power of government (where possible) to turn back pro-abortion policies. He has taken those steps. And because of it, in the minds of those who are militantly pro-abortion, George W. Bush has been proclaimed the "anti-Christ". And therefore, here is an example of another vein of gold that runs through the character and personality of George W. Bush. And again, there are thousands of angels committed to the task of nurturing and expanding that vein of gold.

     Now, if George W. Bush were more in line with the vibration of family tradition and family loyalty, a tradition that resonates to the keynote of betrayal of light and truth, his actions as President would encourage people to honor his father's past decisions in regards to many issues. For example, you would expect him to wholeheartedly support the decision that his father made in 1991 to leave Saddam Hussein in power. But that's not what George W. Bush is doing. Right now, George W. Bush is thinking in his heart, that the decision of his father to leave Saddam Hussein in power was a really foolish decision, a decision that has placed the nation in peril. Given that he loves and respects his dad, he is not going to embarrass him in public by stating the obvious in this regard. But neither is he going to leave the nation at peril in deference to his father's reputation. In fact, George W. Bush has predicated the legacy of his Presidency on the proposition that it is in the best interests of the United States that Saddam Hussein be removed from power. And this position, by default, tells the nation, and the world, that his father was very shortsighted and ill-advised when he did not use the U.S. Troops massed in the region in 1991 to accomplish what needed to be accomplished then. Here family loyalty is set aside to serve the higher purpose of protecting this nation. And I think that everyone will agree that this represents another vein of gold in the character of this President, i.e. sacrificing his father's and therefore his family's good name, in deference to the best interests of the nation. And again, there are thousands of angels committed to the task of nurturing and expanding that vein of gold, and for good reason as we shall see below.

     While we are touching upon this subject of the father/son relationship, there is another interesting dimension to this situation that ought to be considered. Because of the sentient structure of life which God provides to all people, even to fallen angels, and betrayers of the light, as well as to the holy innocent children of God, it is perfectly natural that a bond of respect and love would develop between the child and the parents. And we might wonder what divine purpose this bond might serve. Perhaps that bond of love between father and son will serve as a bridge to bring his father back over to an allegiance to the forces of Light. After all, the Master St. Germain never called George Herbert Walker Bush a fallen angel per se. They just called him a betrayer, and indicated that he had a history of putting other interests before the interests of the Light.

     The issue of a defense against ballistic missile attack is another area where George W. Bush has shown an affinity for Ascended Master priority. The Ascended Masters have passionately advocated the building of a national defense against ballistic missile attack for many years. But no President ever made a serious attempt at it, that is, until George W. Bush came along. Every President before him came up against what they perceived to be an impenetrable wall that blocked them from making any real progress towards a deployable system. That wall was the ABM Treaty, negotiated by (that real tool of darkness) Richard M. Nixon, with the representatives of the Evil Empire, the Soviet Union.

     Because neither Reagan, nor the First Bush, nor Clinton could see a way through that wall, they kept putting off those programs which would allow for serious development, and actual deployment of a missile defense shield.

     The bottom line is that neither Reagan, nor the First Bush, nor Clinton, had the courage, and the spine to take the heat that would have been associated with any move to withdraw from that treaty. When George W. Bush made known his intention of withdrawing from the ABM Treaty, he didn't just get the heat from his domestic political opposition. The heat came from the capitol of nearly every nation on the planet. It was George W. Bush alone who had the requisite courage, who had the requisite spine to simply brush aside all that heat as so much hot air. He is the one that stepped up to the plate, confronted the Russians on this issue, and didn't blink. Bush was steady as a rock on this issue, and everyone else blinked, and that Treaty was successfully dumped into the dust bin of history, paving the way for a future of enhanced security for the American people. And there's real-life testing of a missile defense system going on right now because of it, testing that was not permitted under the ABM treaty. I got to see with my own eyes the light show associated with one of those tests just this week over the skies of Southern California, Monday night, October 14, 2002. (on Columbus Day no less!) It was amazing as we watched a huge bulb (dozens of miles in circumference) of crystal white light form around the rising missile interceptor in the clear western sky.

     Without testing it would be impossible to deploy a workable missile defense system. George W. Bush paved the way, was out front, and cut new trail in this regard. Where does courage like that come from? Where does the courage come from, that allows one to stand in the face of all kinds of doubt and horrendous scenarios being thrown in his way, and still retain the vision, and the resolve to do the right thing? That courage comes from the heart, and no where else. And not from a bleeding heart that is associated with the Liberal camp either. But a heart that has a real spiritual fire burning in it. This courage, represents yet another vein of gold in the character of George W. Bush. And again, it is one that the holy angels work on daily to amplify and expand.

     On another matter, regarding GWB's supposed affinity to the one-world-government agenda, I would simply observe, that if George W. Bush occupied the same vibrational range as those who sympathize with the goal of establishing a new world order, and a one-world government, Bush would have promoted the signing of the Kyoto Treaty on Global Warming, as this would have been a major step towards sublimating U.S. sovereignty to an international industrial control regime. But he refused to even consider it, even under the most audacious pressure.

     Is George W. Bush a perfect person? There is no such thing as a perfect person, i.e. outside of the ascended state. His policy in support of free trade with Communist China is a good example of this. In this, George W. Bush is in alignment with the forces of darkness. It's as simple as that, and there's no question about it. And he has plenty of company in this regard. But does that define the totality of his character? No.

     Now, there have been some who stand in an unforgiving manner when it comes to the involvement of President George W. Bush in supporting the ongoing policy of trade with Communist China, which is essentially repeating past history when it comes to transferring western technology to the Beast of World Communism. This technology transfer is not a good thing. Actually, it is a very bad thing. But, it should be noted, that President Ronald Reagan, who the Ascended Masters supported in many ways, primarily because he had a heart that registered the radiation of Ascended Master counsel, was also knee deep in this technology transfer activity, albeit at the early stages. It is instructive to consider how the Ascended Masters dealt with this situation in regards to President Ronald Reagan. The following statements come from a dictation by the Ascended Master El Morya and St. Germain, given June 8, 1984, which is near the end of Reagan's first term:

     Beloved ones, we are not in favor of the supplying of the current regime in Red China with technology and the wherewithal to build itself up to become a power that can be used against the West at will. Knowing the ancient cruelty of these lifestreams (the Chinese Communist leadership, not necessarily the people themselves) as demonstrated in ages not even chronicled, we can tell you that when it comes to the uses of power, both divine and human, they have abused that power almost more than any other group evolving on earth. And therefore we are not in favor of the decisions that have been made by the president or those contemplated in this current trip to Red China. <1>

     Let all understand, therefore, that the position of the United States vis-…-vis the Soviet Union in this hour and the possibility of war in the European theater, and world war at that, has been brought about entirely by Western capitalists and unalert and sometimes very dark leaders in the United States who have allowed this building of the Soviet military empire to take place. Now they have turned to do the same in Red China before the Communist leadership has even bent the knee before the Goddess of Liberty or proclaimed the flame of freedom as paramount.

     This dilemma ought to occupy a large share of your determined decrees. You must call for the binding of those individuals who, when given power, use it to wreck upon mankind an unmitigated evil. And you must call for the enlighten ment of the American leadership and the judgment of those who are the betrayers of both the Chinese and the American people as they supply the Communists with the technology and the trade that guarantees them power over the people.

     I can only tell you that with an alternative administration things could be far worse; we desire to see things far better. We cannot say that we endorse an individual but we do say that we stand on a platform of freedom, and we can only work through those who have determined in their hearts to at least lend an ear and consider our counsel.

     Beyond this you must realize that when the counsel is given and many voices speak and modify and recommend other solutions, it is difficult for any leader to maintain contact with our level and to take that strong stand that is necessary, especially when that leader has no direct personal knowledge of our counsel.

     Given the well-meaning intentions of those surrounding the president and yet the bad advice that he has been given on some occasions, you can well understand that there are those who are not of good will functioning behind the scenes or at other levels. These are involved in conspiracies and orders founded for ulterior motives (to move the world closer and closer to a one-world totalitarian state) and they also exert influence upon the president, even to the point of a threatening influence; and thus it is most difficult to occupy that position. The few who have tried to remain independent have not long remained in office. Witness, therefore, the independence of Abraham Lincoln or of John Kennedy. It was their independence and their free spirits and their determination to expose the conspiracy that surrounded them that brought about their demise.

     This circumstance, which besets not only heads of state but others in the governments of the nations, beloved hearts, should illustrate to all that no matter how great the honor and the love and the dedication, without the assistance of the Great White Brotherhood, there is only a certain line that can be drawn, a certain stand that can be taken by anyone in embodiment.      I personally advocate the adoption of this kind of understanding posture when it comes to taking into account the many forces that are pressuring, and pushing at any individual who holds the highest office of the land. President George W. Bush does not need our sour, judgmental, and condemnatory thoughts and sentiments. Along with our prayers and decrees, he needs the kind of thoughts and sentiments that have the effect of upliftment. This would help the President's attention to rise, in his moments of daily prayer and devotion, to a level where he can receive the counsel of the Ascended Masters. This is the only way that the George W. Bush will ever come to a determination to reverse course when it comes to U.S./China trade.

     Consider this. As the aforementioned veins of gold are nurtured and expanded through the assistance of the Heavenly Host, in all probability George W. Bush will come to see that his allegiance to that policy is just another foolish and misconceived appendage to his father's cornucopia of mistaken ideas.

     The question is, will he abandon his allegiance to this particular ill-conceived policy solely on the power and the wings of his own sense of right and wrong? Or will circumstance have a hand in helping him to make the right decision? Often, circumstances do arrange themselves around us to facilitate the process of re-evaluation and right decision making. And such circumstantial assistance, as it were, is often required because human beings tend to become trapped in a sticky web of vested interests from which, because of our inherent weakness, we are unable to extricate ourselves, even if we understand that we need to be extricated. Sometimes a sharp shift in circumstance is required to dash assumptions associated with the status quo, allowing a route of escape to appear. And there is a high probability that circumstances will force this issue. But either way, whether he comes to the conclusion within his own heart that this trade is self-destructive to U.S. national interests, or if circumstances develop in such a way as to make this an obvious fact, there is a very high probability that he will make the right decision. And you cannot say that about a person who is thoroughly evil. If a person is thoroughly evil, you might hope for the best, but the probability of a right decision goes in the very opposite direction.

     This assessment is based on George W. Bush's position on the issue of Taiwan. Remember, in relationship to the issue of China, that the continued freedom of Taiwan is a very prominent star in the constellation of Ascended Master priorities. This statement by the Ascended Master St. Germain is illustrative:

"Let the sons and daughters of Liberty arise this day! For I am calling you, and this is my message: The fulcrum of light on Terra for the reversing of the tide of the beast of the Orient is Taiwan. Fifteen million souls of light are keeping the flame of Kuan Yin on that island of light. That island of light is an ancient focus of freedom; and it must not be turned over to the Communists, to the Chinese, or to the Russians. It must not become that political football between East and West pacifying the Communists. It must not be used as a forcefield or as a focal point of evil on either side, but the people of Taiwan must be free to be independent and to be protected by the forces of freedom above and below." - Saint Germain, November 13, 1977, Pearls of Wisdom, Vol. 20 No. 46.

     In distinct contrast to the policies his father had in place in regards to the freedom of Taiwan, which was a policy of appeasement and ambiguity, and in the sharpest contrast to the policies the Clinton administration had in place in regards to the freedom of Taiwan, which again was the policy of appeasement and ambiguity, the present Bush Administration has stated publically, and without ambiguity, that the United States will come to the aid of Taiwan if Communist China ever tried to invade and take control of that island nation. During President Bush's trip to China in February of 2002, he gave a speech to a gathering of Chinese students at Tsinghua University in Beijing. In the question and answer session that followed, he gave clear expression to the U.S. commitment and obligation to defend Taiwan:

Q     Three days ago, during your speech in the Japanese Parliament, you said, the United States will still remember its commitment to Taiwan.

PRESIDENT BUSH: Right.

Q     But my question is, does the U.S. still remember its commitment to 1.3 billion Chinese people? (Applause.) Abiding by the three Joint Communiques and three notes. Thank you.

PRESIDENT BUSH: Thank you very much. As I said, this seems to be a topic on people's mind, obviously. I can't say it any more clearly, that I am anxious that there be a peaceful resolution that's going to require both parties to come to a solution. And that's what I mean by peaceful dialogue. And I hope it happens in my lifetime and I hope it happens in yours. It will make a -- it will be an important milestone.

And, secondly, when my country makes an agreement, we stick with it. And there is called the Taiwan Relations Act, and I honor that act, which says we will help Taiwan defend herself if provoked. But we've also sent the same message that there should be no provocation by either party for a peaceful dialogue.

     Making such a statement in the very belly of the beast was bold and audacious, something that came straight from the heart. In this regard, George W. Bush is squarely in the camp of the Ascended Master Saint Germain, and when an embodied individual has placed his political fortunes, and the fortunes of the nation, on the line in congruency with the desire and the fervor of St. Germain's heart for the guarding of the liberty of Taiwan, I can tell you without any ambiguity, that the Heavenly Host consider this to be another very valuable vein of gold in the character of this President. And they will spend time nurturing that vein of gold, and working to expand it.

     In regards to my previous references to circumstances that would compel us to conclude that trade with Communist China is not in the national interest, I would observe that continued trade with Communist China, makes a conflict over the freedom of Taiwan inevitable. It is that conflict which will finally provide the circumstances by which America will finally understand that its trade ties have been very short-sighted, foolish, and especially tragic when it comes to counting the number of U.S. military personnel that will lose their lives in the inevitable effort to defend Taiwan.

     It is important to understand the factors that compel us to reach this conclusion regarding the role China Trade plays in making conflict over Taiwan inevitable. First of all, the Communist leaders of China loudly and publically express their intention to "reunite" Taiwan with the mainland, and that they will accomplish this by force if necessary. And there is no question that all improvements in the military strength of China is channeled towards the achievement of that goal. Given this fact, it is of great significance, that this trade with Communist China has the tangible effect of making the Chinese military technologically stronger, and therefore more confident that they can effectively confront the United States on the battlefield. Again, given the aforementioned fact, it is of great significance that this trade encourages their military leaders to believe that if China would take action over Taiwan, that there would be a very low probability (from a strictly material standpoint) that the United States would respond or interfere because the U.S. would have too much to lose in regards to the billions upon billions of dollars U.S. Corporations have invested in mainland China.

     It is especially important to understand the latter factor. U.S. investment capital is literally flooding into Communist China. This investment is comprised of tens of billions of dollars spent by many of the largest corporations in America for the purpose of building huge manufacturing facilities there. And this is the important point. If this investment were lost, this could very possibly drive many of these corporations into bankruptcy, putting considerable strain on the U.S. economy with the potential of throwing millions of American workers out of their jobs. This is over and above the dire economic impact that the cut off of trade would have for domestic U.S. businesses which have come to rely on the flow of Chinese made products into this country. The Chinese will hold this over the head of the United States, threatening the precipitation of this economic chaos, if the U.S. should interfere with their plans to occupy Taiwan by force. And because of the shear magnitude of the economic chaos they could create, they would be sorely tempted to believe that the U.S. would rather surrender Taiwan, than to suffer this pain.

     Where do U.S. Corporations find the capital to invest billions of U.S. dollars in mainland China? They borrow it from U.S. Banks. And how do these corporations service billions of dollars in debt? Those debts are serviced by the huge cash flow generated by those manufacturing plants in China. But, in the event of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan, the U.S. Congress would immediately outlaw any kind of economic relationship between U.S. corporations and China. That would cut them off from their investments, and cut them off from the cash flow they need to service their loans. That's the definition of bankruptcy, having more financial obligations that you have the money to pay for them. Chinese strategists are studying these factors closely, and they will come to the conclusion that the United States would not be so foolish as to set such a scenario into motion. That the U.S. would have to pay too high a price for the defense of Taiwan. This conclusion that the U.S. would be unlikely to oppose an invasion of Taiwan because of the economic chaos that such a position would create, is passed up to the Politburo, who will see it as a green light for that very invasion.

     These trends are therefore, moving us inexorably toward an inevitable conflict with China over the freedom of Taiwan. Therefore, when those thousands of Chinese rockets (deployed across the Taiwan Straits) start raining down on Taiwan in preparation for an ultimate land invasion by Chinese ground forces, we can be certain, that the Bush Administration will intervene instantly on the side of Taiwan to forestall the loss of that nation to Communist control. And when this happens, the true intent of the Communist Chinese will be made plain, and all trade with Communist China will come to a screeching halt. The United States would be no more willing to trade with China after an attempted invasion of Taiwan, as it would be with Bin Laden's al Qaeda after 9/11, regardless of the economic costs involved. This is true primarily for the reason that the link between economic relationships and the strengthening of an enemy would be indisputably clear, and no Congressman would ever want to stand before the people and have to explain why they continued the flow of cash to an enemy that was then actively engaged in the killing of U.S. military personnel.

     I would just point out, that unfortunately, Bush's clear statement on the intent of the U.S. to defend Taiwan, will have no substantial deterrent effect upon the Communist Chinese leadership. The Chinese Communist lust for the takeover of Taiwan is growing stronger every year, not weaker. And the Chinese Communists have the opportunity, thanks to the billions upon billions of dollars of income they earn from trade with the United States, to build up their military year by year, until the day will come when they will believe that they have the power to prevail. And finally, as the years roll on, U.S. investment in China's economy is growing year by year as well, making the potential loss that the U.S. will suffer if it interferes, seem prohibitive. No matter what a U.S. President might say, the Chinese will look at these vast investments, and they will never believe that we would risk the loss of all that investment over the issue of Taiwan. They just won't believe it. And therefore, after lusting after that object for so long, and after putting in so much effort to build up their military capability for the purpose of acquiring that prize, there will be nothing that can stop them from simply reaching out and plucking that piece of fruit off the tree.

     This is the paradigm of delusion which plagues the mind of all aggressors. When the lust after a particular object reaches a certain crescendo, and when after long effort or preparation, they possess the physical capability to take that object, there is no room left for rationality to stand forth within their minds, but room only for those grand illusions which promise them the victory they so passionately desire. And we are, through the constant flow of investment capital into their country, helping them to build exactly the kind of grand illusion that will pave the way into war.

     The same delusions occupied the mind of Adolf Hitler when he invaded Europe, attacked Great Britain, invaded Russia, and declared war on the United States. The same delusions occupied the minds of the Japanese when they attacked Pearl Harbor. The same delusions occupied the mind of the North Koreans when they invaded South Korea. The same delusions occupied the mind of the North Vietnamese communists when they invaded South Vietnam. The same delusions occupied the minds of the Soviets when they invaded Afghanistan. The same delusions occupied the mind of Saddam Hussein when he invaded Iran. The same delusions occupied the mind of Saddam Hussein when he invaded Kuwait. The same delusions will occupy the minds of the Chinese Communists over the prize of Taiwan.

     Some may say, so what, let the Chinese Communists have Taiwan. Surely we do not want to pay the price that will be necessary to take it back. But as Americans have proven time and again, when forced to the wall, they will respond, and there will be a war over the freedom of Taiwan, and the most sad thing about it is, that the military strength that the Chinese Communists will use to kill American servicemen will be largely bought and paid for by the U.S. dollars spent on seemingly benign consumer products purchased by millions of average Americans.

     We need to pray, fervently, that the Heavenly Host will work to illuminate the mind of George W. Bush on these key points, which reveal that U.S./China Trade is bringing us closer to war with China (over Taiwan) every day, rather than leading us into a future of peace, prosperity and coexistence with a Communist Giant.

     If you want to stop war, one must understand the mind of the aggressor. One must understand the ingredients, that when combined, produce a decision to go to war for the purpose of grabbing an illicit prize. When one identifies those ingredients, then you know exactly what you must deny to the aggressor. One cannot do anything about minimizing the lust an aggressor has over the prizes he has in mind. But you should know what those prizes are, so you can prepare yourself to defend them. Beyond that, you need to constantly pierce the delusion which is constantly being reborn within the mind of the aggressor that he one day will have, or has today, the capability of attaining his goal, and that no one of any import will try to stop him. This requires the friends of freedom to do everything in their power to deny to the potential aggressor the resources necessary to build up military strength. Our China trade policy breaks this rule. Furthermore, to the extent one is unable to completely cut the aggressor off from resources, one must build up a military deterrent that is clearly capable of stopping the aggressor if he ever decides to go to war. We are taking some steps along these lines in regards to selling American weapons to Taiwan, but we are not doing enough (because we don't want to upset the Chinese Communists). And finally, one must be very clear about the willingness to use that deterrent. And along with this, one must assiduously endeavor to remove all components of ambiguity that might obscure, in the mind of the aggressor, the willingness of his opponents to employ that deterrent. We are certainly breaking that rule with China Trade. And it is unfortunate to have to admit this, but the buildup of Taiwanese investment on the China mainland (following after the example set by American corporations) has this same effect of obscuring in the minds of the Chinese Communists, the willingness of their opponents to put their investments at risk.

     Now, in regards to Saddam Hussein, we have a proven aggressor. In Saddam Hussein, we have an individual who has given us proof, on more than one occasion, that his mind is susceptible, in the classic manner described above, towards the entertainment of those classic delusions which have, across the centuries, encouraged like minded individuals to believe that they could launch wars against more powerful opponents and win. In as much as classic deterrence will not work against this individual for a whole host of reasons, the solution to this problem is one of direct disarmament. We must go in and strip Saddam Hussein of every vestige of power. President George W. Bush sees this clearly, at least in regards to Saddam Hussein, and herein we see yet another vein of gold in the character of this President. Standing strongly and undeterred against great winds of doubt blowing often at hurricane force levels, he stands firmly upon the bedrock need to take action to keep the American people safe, to protect the lives of potentially tens of thousands of our fellow countryman who would otherwise fall prey to the use of weapons of mass destruction which would originate in Saddam Hussein's weapon development laboratories. That character trait, which refuses to bend to doubt, but stands firm for the protection of innocent life, is certainly another vein of gold in the character of this President that the Holy Angels are very interested in safeguarding, multiplying, and expanding.

     Therefore, and finally, let me say, that when you can see evidence that there exists a certain number of veins of gold within the personality and character of a particular individual, notwithstanding the fact that the individual may likewise be beset by many flaws, I believe that it safe to conclude that here stands a Child of God, because I believe it to be axiomatic, that veins of gold within the character and personality proceed from the flame of divine life within the heart. Which is to say, a three-fold flame. And that would make President George W. Bush a lightbearer, and not a fallen angel, nor even a puppet in the hands of the forces of darkness, for it is important to understand, that the threefold flame is the flame of freedom, and the influence of its life emanations throughout the being of man, as a general rule, works to resist the puppeteering influence of the forces of darkness.
