I am remembering a while back (spring/summer 2002) when a member of our organization, an individual who hailed from Greece, went off the deep end, and made all kinds of accusations about the leadership of our Church either being under the control of fallen angels, or being the actual embodiment of fallen angels. And of course there has been a host of somewhat less confrontational accusations regarding the lack of integrity of our church leadership emanating from other stateside sources as well.

     Without a doubt, such streams of venom originate in the anger filled hearts of the false hierarchy whose only desire is to assassinate the character of the Brotherhood's most faithful servants. Nevertheless, the force of these accusations invariably bend the mind of the faithful towards the regions of doubt, and it will always take some time and effort to recover. Because of this, we can never put too much effort into the great project of stiffening our resolve against these blasts of sinister intent, thereby lessening their impact, and shortening the amount of time it takes to regain our balance within the light of truth.

     In relationship to this ongoing project of stiffening the defenses of our Community, I am happy to announce, that I have found a statement by Archangel Michael, which, I believe, gives us a very substantial reason for rejecting such accusations out of hand. Of course, the extent to which this is the case, will depend on the person's link to the heart of Archangel Michael, a link developed through the giving of at least the daily set of 40 Michaels. But, since I think that the great majority of the student body engages in this daily link building, the following statement should resonant strongly throughout the entire organization, allowing us to rest easy in a well grounded faith that the leadership is effectively guarded against the overt influence of fallen angels, and that it is impossible for a fallen angel to ascend to an actual position of leadership in this Church.

     This is what Archangel Michael said to this Community in September of 1973:

     Let the serpent come forth then to bite the heel of the Woman! The first sign of that intent, the first sign of its manifestation — and I shall stand forth to defend Her and to slay the dragon. For I AM the champion of the Cosmic Virgin, and none shall stay my hand! And I AM the authority over all Luciferian forces! And I say this day, let any fallen angel that has rebelled against Almighty God and His Christ cross the threshold of this retreat, and he shall be stripped of his power! And this is a warning: Let all who come into this place to receive the Light who have had ties to darkness — let them be ready! For by their entrance into this focus — where I have placed the focus of the Diamond Shining Mind of God this hour — in this place, there shall no evil stand. It shall be taken [from] those who challenge the Light and have done so throughout the ages. (see note below).
     I, Michael, stand in this place! And I AM the Archangel of the Will of God! And I shall implement that will from now unto eternity — until every man, woman, and child upon this planet and in this system of worlds is ascended in the Light and free!
     This is my pledge, this is my vow, this is my service night and day! And I stand as the guardian of the Light within you! Therefore invoke my name and my Flame, and you shall go forth as Joan of Arc of old to triumph over the forces that challenge the culture of the Mother. And you shall vanquish the foe! And there shall be no more night there, for the Light that shines within your heart shall be the Light of the Holy City! <2>
     I have come! I have spoken! And the earth is blessed! For the Light has been made physical and tangible by the devotion of this assembly and this Messenger. So be it!   (Pearls of Wisdom, Vol. 16 No. 37 - September 16, 1973)

     In regards to the reference to the "woman" and to the "Cosmic Virgin", we should take that as a reference to every student who walks the Path of Intiation, in as much as those who raise up the Mother Light, are representatives of the Cosmic Virgin. The reference to "this retreat" I personally take to mean any outpost of the Summit Lighthouse, in existence then, or in existence anytime into the future. And I think that as long as the calls go out to Archangel Michael, from King Arthur's Court, and from the Altar of the Holy Grail in each of the Teaching Centers, Study Groups, and Keeper's homes, the necessary authority is present for the Archangel to keep his word, and his vow.

     This is the bottom line. When an Archangel says "I pledge", we can take that pledge to the bank at any time and to expect to find his account overflowing with the resources necessary to keep it.

Note: This sentence taken from Pearls Online read: "It shall be taken by those who challenge the Light and have done so throughout the ages." In as much as this statement does not make sense within the context it was made, I assumed the presence of an error in transcription wherein the word "by" should have been "from".
