Unless indicated otherwise, the following notes are recorded in my
journal in the course of my daily decree services before this local outpost of the Altar of the
Holy Grail, located in my sanctuary, a converted photographic darkroom in the back of our
garage. The Chart of the
Presence hangs over the altar area on the west wall, with the portrait of the Ascended Master
Jesus Christ to the left, and the
portrait of the Ascended Master St. Germain to

deva, that ensouls our elm tree, do you think that he or she
is aware of the process of each one of the thousands of leaves that are currently unfolding for the

 This is the 29th consecutive day of the
Linda Healing Project. | Ritual
outline: We begin repeating our Linda Healing Prayer when we get out of bed, "My
Beloved God Presence, I Am That I Am, please allow Linda to feel your precious friendship, your
precious love, your precious comfort, your precious peace, and your precious healing power.
Please bestow upon Linda the intelligence that will enable her to recognize the difference between
friend and foe." After dressing we proceed directly to the kitchen, remove five dog biscuits
from the jar, and chop them in half to yield a total of ten pieces. Five for Linda, and five for Max.
We proceed to the sanctuary, kneel at the altar, explain our goals, and ask for assistance. This
includes a request that a squad of nature
spirits and elementals to be assigned to tutor Linda in recognizing the difference between friend
and foe, and sword work to cut Linda free from her fear and all aggressive tendencies. We depart
the sanctuary, taking the white hand bell from the altar, proceed into the garage, open the main
garage door, and walk over to the gate. We ring the hand bell, open the gate, say good morning to
Linda and Max, pull the two trash barrels outside of the gate, walk back inside the gate and over to
the chain link fence where the dogs are ready for their dog biscuits. After feeding four biscuits to
each dog, in this order, Max, Linda, Max, Linda, etc., we pull the trash barrels back inside of the
gate, and then walk back over to the fence and give each dog one more biscuit and a pat on the
head. That done, I say goodbye, close the gate, ring the hand bell, walk into the garage and close
the garage door. |
As we opened the garage door Linda let
out one half-hearted bark, but when she saw me at the gate, she started to bark more repetitively,
and continued barking as I opened the gate, and as I pulled the trash barrels outside of the gate,
and as I closed the gate, and as I walked over to the chain link fence. As soon as arrive at the
chain link fence Linda stops barking and gets into her dog biscuit expectation mode. I would say
the biscuit feeding went about the same as yesterday. During each of the six biscuit feedings,
Linda allowed me to pet her without pulling back. I accidently fed the dogs all five of their dog
biscuit pieces, without saving the additional fifth piece to give them after I pulled the trash barrels
back inside of the gate. But fortunately, there were a few large crumbs remaining at the bottom of
my pocket, and that worked ok. After we pulled the trash barrels back in, we went back over to
the fence and gave each dog some of the crumbs and a head pat. Linda started to bark at the
movement of the trash barrels but stopped when I came back over to the fence. Upon leaving,
Linda started to bark again, but abruptly stopped when the hand bell was rung. That behavior is
becoming fairly well ingrained, i.e. stopping barking, and going on a search for more dog

| Let me just say that as we sat down to do
our transcription work, we were totally absorbed into
this cloud of lethergy whose only goal was to take a break from this work, and from our decree
work this evening. Well, in as much as I am already running behind on this transcription work,
(we have not even finished the transcription of Saturday's journal entries), we can't very well take
a break from this work. So, as we proceed with this transcription work, we are studying this desire
to take a break, in as much as it still rests heavily upon us, and we are comparing and contrasting
what this desire would lead us into, which would be sitting in front of the T.V. set, against what
we would be taking a break from, which would be that altar work where the very presence of
paradise comes upon you on a more and more regular basis, and I am wondering, how could it be
a benefit to skip this work that allows for the presence of paradise to be made manifest? What is it
about watching the T.V. that would bring a something of greater benefit into my life? What about
watching T.V. is energizing, or relaxing, or comforting, or bestows peace? And I have to sort of
laugh at that, in as much as we just got finished eating our breakfast in front of the T.V., though
we were only watching C-Span and the News, and what did we feel like when we got up? We felt
totally drained. We felt like we did not have the energy to proceed forward with our normal
routine. While this desire to take a break certainly is powerful, and while this blanket of lethergy is
certainly not providing evidence of any vitality in me, it certainly is at the same time absurd and
laughable. I can't see how it is possible to ever come to a conclusion that its advice, its counsel is
worthwhile. And as we proceeded with out transcriptions, noticing the content thereof, discussing
the idea that God deserves our utmost respect, and engaging in the foregoing analysis as we are
typing, we find that the presence of the sacred fire has emerged within the fabric of our awareness,
at a level of about (4) to (5), and that logic of this sacred fire has cleared a straight path into the
decree work that we will pursue as the next item on our agenda. Now there are no barriers that
stand in between us and the completion of that work. The presence of the lethergy and its desire
to take a break has vanished, having apparently been consumed by the Power of Truth, which of
course the presence of the sacred fire carries within it. [c-notes recorded in office] 4/16/2001

| In regards to this statement made on
Saturday, April 14, 2001, "Ultimately all thought activity
must take place within the context of the flame of respect", we need to make it crystal clear that
this does not happen by a totalitarian edict from on high. It happens only because the soul deeply
desires for it to happen, but not only that. The soul must go through the process of weeding out
all thought processes that take the soul in unwanted directions. This ultimate condition where all
thought activity takes place within the context of the flame of respect, comes to pass only after
that soul has made thousands and thousands of free will choices to affirm the value of this flame,
and thousands and thousands of free will choices to reject whatever it is that opposes the constant
presence of this flame within the fabric of awareness. [c-notes recorded in office] 4/16/2001

| The glow of the sacred fire of peace and
freedom appears within the fabric of our awareness on
the 10th repetition of (12x) Tubes of Light at a level (2) on our (1-12) intensity scale, expanding to
a level (3) by the 12th repetition. A heavy burden appears upon the spine at a point at or just
below the heart at the 6th repetition, and continues through to the 11th

| This is day #113 of the strength of many
mountains, and #111 of the golden portal of the heart
and the many divine cities revealed therein, and #107 of the many many fires of celebration of the
glory of God, and #72 of the nourishment of God's glory spread abroad across the entire planetary
body, and #63 of the garden paradise of the heart, the place where divine friends meet, where the
word "cherish" describes every relationship, and #42 of the personal closeness of my very own
beloved God Presence, and #34 of the my very own beloved God Presence as the presence of
paradise, and #19 of the heart as home. 4/16/2001

| I am very grateful to have the opportunity
to work with the Ascended Masters and the angelic
legions during these hours for the victory of God's purpose upon the earth. 4/16/2001 Mon. |
| During our main preamble sword work,
Linda is barking at something, and this gives us an
opportunity to stop and give our Linda Healing Prayers, "My Beloved God Presence, I Am That I
Am, please allow Linda to feel your precious friendship, your precious love, your precious
comfort, your precious peace, and your precious healing power. Please bestow upon Linda the
intelligence that will enable her to recognize the difference between friend and foe," and as we
give this we are visualizing Linda cradled in our arms, with love, comfort and peace flowing into
her. Of course, as I have noted before, I have no love of my own for Linda. Because I have only
felt irritation towards Linda, I affirm here that if Linda is to be loved through me, it will have to be
the love of my God Presence, which I imagine that I will adopt as my own whenever it appears. I
surrender my irritation of course, I will not feel that anymore, and I will open up a space for that
love to appear, within the cradle I form with my arms. I gave the prayer three times and Linda
stopped barking after about ten seconds or so. 4/16/2001

| Then Maui is meowing in such a forlorn
manner at the back door. I gave my Maui prayer to the
seven Archangels, and the meowing stopped. I asked the seven Archangels to please have mercy
on Maui, to send a group of nature spirits and elementals to keep him

| The glow of the sacred fire of peace and
freedom appears within the fabric of our awareness on
the 8th repetition of (12x) 30.08, Covenant of the Magi calls, at a level of (2) on the (1-12)
intensity scale. Also, we are a very far distance from the presence of mind necessary to grasp onto
our victory thoughtform, "God deserves respect. It is so far removed from us that we cannot even

| But we can repeat "God deserves the
utmost respect" during the transition spaces, and during this
last break, and I can report that it feels good to have returned to that focus. During our next set of
(15x) Hail Marys, we were able to grasp onto that thoughtform in the course of those

| We have changed the wording of our
Sanat Kumara and Lady Master Venus prayer. Up until
now it has read, "Beloved Sanat Kumara and Lady Master Venus, please help me to become more
devoted to the victory of God's will, the victory of God's infinite goodness, and the victory of the
nourishment of God's glory spread abroad across the entire planetary body." Now it reads like
this, "Beloved Sanat Kumara and Lady Master Venus, please help me to develop the capacity to
extend the utmost respect unto our Father/Mother God at all times and under all circumstances."
The moment we decided to make this change, a bright blue light appears on the Chart of the
Presence between the feet of the middle figures (Holy Christ Self), and just above the head of the
lower figure (me) on top of the crystal cord at that point. 4/16/2001

| The glow of the sacred fire of peace and
freedom emerged within the fabric of our awareness on
the 44th of (45x) Michael calls. We made efforts in the direction of extending utmost respect to
our Father/Mother God, but we did not make any connection with that flame. Though it was clear
in our mind that the ultimate goal of this effort is to enter into the region of huge hugs unto God.
The preciousness of the experience is alive in my memory during much of this call session. Now,
for a while, this was far more clear in our mind than the issue of respect itself. But I don't think
you can simply jump into the region of huge hugs, at least not at your current level of
development. The pathway into that region is comprised of steps, the first of which is to anchor
the conceptual framework in the mind, (which we haven't done yet), then allow the flame of
respect to appear within that context, allowing the vision component of that flame to reveal the
beauty of God, which in turn ignites the flame of adoration, and out of the flame of adoration
extends those huge hugs unto God. That has been our experience so far. 4/16/2001 Mon. |
| As we repeat this during our next transition
space, "God deserves my utmost respect", and we can sense the truth of it! Of course, that is the
only thing we are thinking about at that point. As we repeat this, the very substance of physical
matter takes on a certain dimension of sacredness, all the objects in the sanctuary, and the structure
of the sanctuary itself, are supported upon a sub-atomic grid of God's conscious life and power.
A very interesting and wonderful perception. Giving us a glimpse of the possibility of living life in
a constant perception of the sacredness of all things. 4/16/2001

| During the next set of (15x) Hail Marys, as
we ponder this wonderful perception, all of a sudden, at one point, my inner being expands
outward towards God in the form of one of these precious hugs! That is really where we want to
be. For an instant the gap closes, and God is the most real object, as it were, in the universe, and

| Harkening back to the question we had
earlier in regards to whether the angel deva that ensouls the big elm tree in our back yard actually
ensouls the individual process of each of thousands of newly unfolding leaves, I am thinking that if
this is true, that it might explain the fact that there are no two leaves exactly the same, in as much
as every leaf is different and unique. 4/16/2001

| As we speak these words during this
transition space prior to the violet flame session, "God my beloved Father and God my beloved
Mother deserves my utmost respect", the reality of God the Father, and God the Mother is
reported to us as being present within the fabric of our awareness, and within all surrounding

| The glow of the sacred fire of peace and
freedom remained solidly anchored within then fabric of our awareness during the whole duration
of our 15 minute period of violet flame decrees. At ten minutes into the session, we were able to
grasp the conceptual framework, "God deserves my utmost respect", and we were able to reside at
the center of it for a while in a space where we could contemplate and marvel at just how much
respect God deserves. We also had the previous experience embedded in the fabric of our

many others, the opportunity to find the Masters, the Teaching, and the science of the spoken
word, and the opportunity to attend so many blessed conferences, seminars, and services at
Camelot and the Inner Retreat, and of course for the opportunity to attend Summit University ..."

| During our 15 minute period of Helios and
Vesta calls, about half way through, we were able to
grasp onto the victory thoughtform, "God deserves my utmost respect", and as we focused on this
we sensed that we were standing in an inner realm of illumination. We also have a clear memory
of our experience yesterday in which we were given to perceive te presence of our Father/Mother

| As we begin our I Am Light calls, as we
ask Beloved Kuthumi for help in establishing this capacity
to extend unto God the utmost respect at all times and under all circumstances, we get instant
feedback in the form of a divine awareness that reports to us that we have indeed focused on an
area that will return the most blessed dividends. 4/17/2001

| It was not until we were 9 minutes into our
15 minute period of I Am Light calls that we gathered
up the presence of mind necessary to focus on our victory thoughtform as a single cohesive unit,
"God deserves my utmost respect." We received a definite sense of satisfaction and fulfillment
when we achieve that focus, and we sense that we are tying into the most radiant part of ourself,
that part that can freely praise God. 4/17/2001 Tue. | |
| As we focus on this goal of extending the
utmost respect unto God as we enter into our 30 minute
period of violet flame decrees, it is like the dawning of a new day. We are rising into the
brightness of that region of being where there is only Reality, Shining and Radiant, where
everything gives off a Light of sacredness. Everything about the landscape of this region is
precious, and vital, and alive with meaning and purpose. And more glorious feedback is received
at the prayer for assistance the precedes the actual beginning of the body of the violet flame
decrees, "I am placing one hand firmly in the hand of Jesus, and the other firmly in the hand of St.
Germain, and I am asking your gracious hearts to please assist me in giving these calls in the most
effective possible manner to bring about the greatest possible clearance of all obstacles that oppose
the full and complete development of that capacity to extend the utmost respect unto our
Father/Mother God at all times and under all circumstances." The region of great hugs is accessed

"Which one? That one!", for example, "Which one of
these do you want? I want that one." The word "which" is associated with a question concerning
the specification of a subset of objects. The word "that" is being used in the answer portion to
delineate the subset. The use of "which" or "that" in these examples are not

| For example, "What (or which) is the best
color to wear to a concert hall? That color which harmonizes with the music." Or is it, "That color that harmonizes with the music." To remain consistent with the above
criteria, maintaining the distinction between the specification of subsets in contrast to a request for

First of all, we had to pull the trash
barrels out to the street curb late last night, so the movement of the trash barrels was not a part of
the ritual today. Linda started to bark the moment we opened the garage door and she kept on
barking until we arrived at the chain link fence. But as usual she stopped barking once she figured
out that this was the time for dog biscuits. I believe that Linda was a degree more receptive today.
I say that because during one of the dog biscuit feedings she remained standing on her hind legs
with her paws against the fence while she started to chew the biscuit with me patting her on the
head. It seem like part of her wanted to stay and get her head patted some more. I got to pat her
on the head during each of the five biscuit feedings. As far as Max goes, he was a little bit more
greedy today. A couple of times he was up on his hind legs looking for another biscuit before he
finished chewing the biscuit that was already in his mouth. This interfered somewhat with giving
Linda her dog biscuits, but not overly so. It might have had the effect of inspiring her to try
harder.
As noted above, this is the 30th consecutive day of our
Linda Healing Project, and we have arrived at a fairly stable stage of development where Linda
will take dog biscuits out of my hand and allow me to pet her each time without pulling back. As a
general rule she feels no need to bark at me while the dog biscuit feeding ritual is going on.
The next stage of progress we are looking to achieve is
where Linda doesn't feel the need to bark at all from the point we open the garage door to begin
the ritual, and where she will not bark at the movement of the trash barrels, and she will not bark
at the end of the ritual when I have to walk away to leave. [c-notes recorded in office] 4/17/2001

| After breakfast we took the vegetable scrap
container out to the compost pile, and of course Linda
is barking at me. After dumping the container I walked over to the fence to say hello to Linda and
Max. Max of course is all excited and we pat him on the head, and Linda allows me to get close
enough to pat her on the head, i.e. through her barking. Once she got a head pat, she stopped
barking at me. I pulled in the trash barrels out from street and back inside of the front gate, and
that of course started Linda barking again. I went back over to the fence to try say hello again, and
Linda allowed me to pat her on the head again. Perhaps we should make this a regular part of our
routine. Jorge was out in the back yard and came over to the dog pen area, and both dogs were
really happy to see him. Once he was there, the dogs would not pay any attention to me. But of
course it helps for Linda to see me standing there at the same time Jorge is there. This helps her to
further understand that I am not her enemy. Jorge and I chatted for while, mostly about the

Again we are carrying to altar this
heavy desire to take a break from our altar work. I am thinking that this is like unto a heavy cross

| During our opening statements, where we
invoke the light released in the dictations: "Beloved
Father, Beloved Mother, I would like to express my gratitude for having had the opportunity to
attend so many blessed services in the Chapel of the Holy Grail at Camelot, and for the
opportunity to have attended so many live dictations in the Chapel of the Holy Grail and at the
Inner Retreat, and I would like to take this opportunity to invoke the full gathered momentum of all
the light released by the Ascended Masters in those dictations for which I was personally present,
and for those dictations which I have either heard and read, both previously and subsequently, for

Chinese Communists will be using those Boeing
aircraft that they are purchasing from the Boeing Company in Seattle, Washington, to ferry troops
to Taiwan once they establish air superiority. This is complete and utter foolishness to sell such
aircraft to a Communist Totalitarian State. Just because those aircraft are substantively
commercial airliners, that doesn't mean that can't serve as military troop transport aircraft.
Remember that for the United States to move a lot of troops fast into the Gulf region during the
Desert Storm period, the U.S. military had to charter many commercial airliners to accomplish the

and freedom emerged, beyond that which appeared during the opening statement. But during
repetitions 6 through 12, a very heavy burden appeared upon the spine at a level at or just below

| This quote from Archangel Michael is
taken from Pearls of Wisdom, Vol. 28, No. 10, p. 111,
from a dictation given through Elizabeth Clare Prophet in the Chapel of the Holy Grail at Camelot
on Sunday, February 3, 1985: And
therefore, we circumvent those who have taken unto themselves the domination of the media and
the press. And we link the lightbearers by the diamond heart of Mary and El Morya, by the blue
lightning of our causal body.
And there is a direct communication that is established in this hour of the oneness of all
lightbearers of the planet, that your decrees might flow as a direct transfusion to their hearts
through the Mighty I AM Presence to deliver them of the burdens of fear coming upon their hearts
--- the projected fear and agitation of the fallen ones.
And thus, you may know that your calls are sustaining
the body of God worldwide. And do not mistake the imposters who come saying they represent
this body; but know them only by their fruits. For the imposters have also learned to imitate the
light of the eye and to draw the sacred fire to put on the appearance of The Faithful and
True. |
There are two important themes in
this quotation. The first theme presented by the Master is the importance of the decree work. Our
decrees flow "as a direction transfusion to their hearts." And that our calls "are sustaining the
body of God worldwide." It is very important that we assimilate the truth of this revelation. This
will give us the strength to fend off the ploys of the darkness that would try to convince us that
there are more important things to do than our daily decree work, setting us free to do more of the
work that has beneficial impact for the cause of the light across the entire planet.
And the next theme dovetails with this. The Master is
warning us about imposters of the light who come into the community of the Holy Spirit. Note
with great emphasis that this warning is given in the context of the first theme, i.e. in the context of
the statements telling us that our decree work is very important. We can take from this that the
first sign of the imposter of the light is in the minimizing of the importance of decree work.
Of course, we all feel the pressure of the darkness that
tries to persuade us that there is something more important to do than our decree work.
Sometimes we may even bend the knee to this internal pressure, but even in our weak moments,
we are never convinced that this is the voice of truth. We would never get up on a soapbox within
the community and proclaim the value and the validity of this force of darkness. This is because,
no matter how profoundly heavy the force of darkness weighs down upon us in its attempt to deter
us from our altar work, the benefits we receive in the course of that altar work are constantly
increasing our appreciation for that work. This is one of the true fruits of the path, i.e. an ever
increasing sense of appreciation for the value of the science of the spoken word.
The sign of the imposter is in the inability to recognize
that it is indeed darkness that influences and presses a person to avoid decree work. Moreover,
they do not have the counterbalance of the experience of the Light in the course of the decree
work that allows their appreciation of the work to grow. That fruit makes a person an advocate
of more decree work, not less. When the imposter confronts the force of darkness within himself,
a force that has him walking out of the sanctuary even as he follows the crowd into the sanctuary
on Sunday, he believes that he is confronting the truth, and he will become an outspoken public
advocate of less decree work. While these imposters will do enough decree work to keep up
appearances, they will nevertheless proclaim the need for the members of the community to do

| The glow of the sacred fire of peace and
freedom appears within the fabric of our awareness at a
level of (3), on the (1-12) scale of intensity, during our divine revelation recollection affirmations,
specifically, "the revelation of the sacred fire of the heart, which was given to me in such a tangible
manner (during an I Seek Thee decree matrix) that I felt like I had to do something at the time, and
what seemed most appropriate at the time was to take a golden cup off the shelf, and to dip that
cup into the sacred fire, and extend that cup of God's preciousness to another individual - and it
was so tangible still that we took another golden cup off the shelf, and we dipped that cup into the
sacred fire of the heart, and extended that cup of God's preciousness to another individual, "
(15x), during which we go through the motions of dipping a cup into the sacred fire of the heart
and extending it to another individual, using our new cup that has Christmas decorations on it,

| During this DRRA, "The revelation of the
nourishment of God's glory spread abroad across the
entire planetary body" (15x), we are made aware of a vision component, the actual shining of that
glory at a distance, beyond the veil. The same is true for our desire body prayers: "O God my
Beloved Father, my Beloved Mother, I Am That I Am, please grant unto me a desire body that
desires only the victory of your will, the victory of your infinite goodness, and the victory of the
nourishment of your glory spread abroad across the entire planetary body, and that passionately"
(15x). As we gave these prayers, there is a quantity of God's glory placed as a shining beacon on
the horizon of awareness, yet at a distance, and we can sense the flame of adoration stirring to life
within in response to it. I just love this process that has my whole being bowing in the most
profound honor before the glory of God. And when I say "my whole being", that's what I mean.
You can sense the totality of yourself in that posture of honor, and it is a profoundly precious
place to be. This sense of totality is a harbinger of wholeness in God, and just the taste of that

| One must be conscious of the fact that as
we perceive this, and record these entries, that this awareness is infinitely higher on the scale of

| We have not experienced any appreciable
success in extending utmost respect unto our Father/Mother God during the (12x) 30.08,
Covenant of the Magi calls, or during our (45x) Michaels. It was not until the 33rd
repetition of our (45x) Michaels that the opposition lifted enough for us to be aware that extending
utmost respect unto God was a worthwhile activity. But instead of being able to capitalize on that,
in fact, a heavy burden of sleepiness was lowered into my mind where it is now a struggle just to
keep my eyes open. One might think or believe that this level of awareness can be achieved with
ease. But there is nothing easy about it when the substrate of your consciousness is filled with an

| The blessed revelation at the beginning of
this service, coming to us without any additional effort during our divine revelation recollection
affirmations, stands in sharp contrast to the difficulty we have subsequently faced in our effort to
hold the victory thoughtform. What explains this? I believe that the masters can bestow any
condition of awareness upon their students that they desire, i.e. in accordance with the divine plan
for the soul. There are great gifts, and they give you a taste of what is considered a normal state of
consciousness from the standpoint of the ascended and God-Centered state of
consciousness. But once the decree work starts in earnest, you are required to slug it out with your
own untransmuted substance. On some days this substance is much thinner and easier to move
through than on other days. Certainly, the substance of your consciousness that refuses to come
into alignment with the flame of respect, certainly fits the definition of untransmuted substance. It
is substance orientated in exactly the wrong direction. As you feel yourself being pulled down the
hill of awareness by this mudslide of misqualified light, you have to exert an effort to establish a
beachhead of properly qualified, and properly orientated mind material. You have to establish the
solid ground of divine sanity. Once that is done, the Masters will provide the increase. In other
words, once the soul has stood its ground and refused to allow the hillside to slide any farther, the
Masters can plant a garden of sacred fire delight on that solid ground. And in that manner, the

| Other than the appearance of a faint flow
of the sacred fire of peace and freedom at a level (1), which was with us throughout the 15 minute
period of violet flame calls, we did not have any success here either in focusing on extending the
utmost respect unto our Father/Mother God. I guess you can say we have hit a rough patch of
ground. At one point I asked myself, "Where is the desire to extend unto God the utmost respect
he deserves?" And we looked at the substrate of our awareness, and we see that it very stubbornly
insists on looking in any and every direction other than in the direction of God. I had no power to

| During the 20.12, I Ratify the Judgment of
Helios, call matrix, (includes 20.07 Judgment calls (5x), 20.09 Dweller calls (5x), .30 Solar Ring
calls), we have approached a condition of sacred fire freedom, but we have not been absorbed into
it. There is definitely a very stubborn forcefield of contrary energy hanging onto us tonight. The
(5x) 20.07 Judgment calls partially cleared this substance, and the (5x) 20.09 Dweller calls
partially cleared this substance, but about 30% of it still remains. That means that 70% of our
awareness reports the reality of the presence of the sacred fire. But 30% reports to me that it is
still embedded in this stubbornly clinging contrary energy. 4/17/2001
