We have just completed the Cosmic Clock Calculator! Hooray! And it's ready and available for download (free) right here at Homeward Bound - The Journal of Ascended Master Devotion! The download link appears at the end of this description.

The first version of the Cosmic Clock Calculator has been implemented using the full-featured macro language of Word Perfect 7, and is written for use with Word Perfect 7 running under Windows 95. It should work fine in Word Perfect 8, 9, or 2000, running under Windows 95, 98, or 2000.

Features

On start-up, the Cosmic Clock Calculator will calculate the Cosmic Clock Cycles for the default birth date and display all relevant information in a large dialog box. For those who use Word Perfect 7 to keep their daily journal, the cycle information can be inserted into the journal document with a click of a button

There's no doubt about it! The Cosmic Clock Calculator will help you concentrate on your cosmic clock cycles in a more focused manner, and that means you'll find yourself recognizing and passing more of your tests!

      And there's more!

The Cosmic Clock Calculator features a list of family birth dates allowing the user to calculate the cosmic clock cycles of each member of the family. This will prove to be a very important tool for enhancing family harmony and for parenting generally. Knowing the cosmic clock cycles of family members will go a long way towards helping the user identify the tests being faced by each member of the family, and thereby empower the user to play a more active and supportive role in helping their family members to identify and to pass their tests.

A special "Monthly Family Report" feature allows the user to create a report that shows the Cosmic Clock Cycles for each family member over the span of a particular month. The user can specify which family members to include. The resulting document, nicely formatted and easy to read, can then be printed out and stuck onto the kitchen refrigerator door for easy reference for the entire family.

The "family list" of birth dates will of course accommodate any kind of important date that the user desires to track in terms of the unfolding cycles of the cosmic clock. One example would be watching the cycles unfold from the date of your graduation from Summit University. The list will hold up to 100 dates.

Special attention has been paid to time zone conversions to guarantee that no matter how far from the original place of birth a person has traveled, the user will always know the exact time that their cosmic clock cycles change.

A powerful "What If" function has been included to enable the user to quickly calculate what their cosmic clock cycles were for any date and time in the past, and for any date and time in the future. This will make it easy to evaluate past events in light of the cosmic clock cycles that were active at a particular time. And this will make it easy to plan for the future, allowing the user to easily look ahead to see what their cosmic clock cycles will be for a particular event or activity that they are looking forward to.

The Cosmic Clock Calculator is simple to use. It's completely dialog driven, and every step and function is self-explanatory.

Portrait of a Friend - Bonus

Included in this download is a "Portrait of a Friend", a Windows 95 executable that will allow you to keep the portrait of El Morya on your desktop at all times along with the text of El Morya's prayer "Covenant of the Magi" (30.08 in our decree books). "Portrait of a Friend" can be launched with a button click from within the Cosmic Clock Calculator, or you can place a short cut on your desktop that points directly to it.

And the best part of it all, is that the Cosmic Clock Calculator (and the Portrait of a Friend) can be downloaded (free) right here!

(In some cases the first dialog is skipped and the "Save As ..." dialog is the first thing you see). Navigate to your C:\Temp directory, and then click "Save". The download process will begin. After the file is downloaded, use Windows Explorer to navigate back to the C:\Temp directory. Find the file, point at the file icon, and double click. Click Here to Download "Portrait of a Friend" only
(don't need Word Perfect version 7 or later)

After Installation

Once the Cosmic Clock Calculator is installed you will want to add a button to your Word Perfect 7 tool bar that will allow you to start the Cosmic Clock Calculator with a single click. This is how you do it:

1. Right click on the tool bar. A context menu appears.

2. Choose Edit. The Toolbar Editor Dialog appears.

3. Left click on the macros tab. The macro panel moves to the front.

4. Click "Add Macro". A directory dialog appears.

5. Navigate to this directory:

c:\Program Files\Cosmic Clock Calculator

6. Find the Cosmic Clock Calculator CCCWP7.wcm.

7. Click on it, then click the "Select" button.

8. A dialog box then asks: "Save Macro with Full Path?" click "Yes".

9. A new button appears on the tool bar.

10. Left Click on the new button. A small context menu appears.

11. Choose "Customize". The Customize Button dialog appears.

12. Enter the "Button Text" that you would like to appear when the mouse cursor is over the button, e.g. "Cosmic Clock Calculator".

13. When the mouse passes over the button, the "Quick Tip" text will appear directly after the "Button Text". Since the Button Text is self-explanatory, additional "quick tip" text is probably not necessary. You can leave it blank.

14. In the "Image" box, clicking on the "edit" button will allow you to customize the graphic image that appears on the tool bar.

15. When you are done, be sure to click the "OK" button on the Toolbar Editor dialog.

We have provided a special form for any feedback, suggestions, and bug reports you may have. The URL to this form is displayed by clicking the "about" button on the two main dialogs (as the program runs). Alternatively, here's a link to the feedback form which you may want to bookmark while you are here.
